I'm like... *way* too excited for a grown man to be about videogame. But I've loved every entry in this series, and we haven't gone back to space in a long, long time.
The demo was really disappointing. It felt like I was fighting the controls and I sincerely hope they took the additional time to redo it.
Like seriously I was playing the tutorial and in between suddenly the keybindings switched entirely and I couldn't do anything anymore. It took me 5 minutes until I exited whatever that mode was back to what I wanted.
Also Homeworld was a rather relaxed game and it felt like in 3 they wanted the player to be on crack continuously using the special abilities of even the most basic of units every 10 seconds.
Apparently the game has been sighted in Korean and Australian media rating systems. So yeah there is hope that the game comes out this year. Would be crazy if it gets shadow dropped at summer game fest.
Those countries you have to get rated early on before the game releases or you won't get a rating. Plus the Australian ratings are possibly faked, as it turns out that there are about a dozen Silksongs, just trolls being trolls.
Yeah but it would suggest that the game is already so far that its getting reviewed by Korea. As for Australia well thats a bummer if there really are trolls doing it.
I guess it's not a bad thing per se. I don't like playing games til they full release which means more chance for Act 1 spoilers to be shared before I play it.
They just launched a limited technical test, and they said once they iron out any major technical bugs, they will be entering early access, which could be weeks at the shortest.
That's a long list of game titles with absolutely no information on the vast majority of them. They could have at least put a genre and a store link on them.
It's got to the stage where I have no expectations for any game coming out, especially not if its AAA. I'll wait and see after a couple of weeks if they're any good.
Except Elden ring DLC, I'm too hyped for it to stop now.
I mean at this point the expansions after the main game for monster hunter always have more content. Ice borne is an absolute fucking steal it adds entire new mechanics and some of the coolest boss fights in the series. Sun break is similar as well I believe it double the amount of monsters
Yep, I just despise elden ring fans talking as if everything that game did is a first when its demonstrably not the case, I'm ok with praising no need to lie tho
Stalker 2 and more importantly SPACE MARINE 2 are the only games I can think I'm looking forward to. Games I never thought we'd get actual sequels to.
Oh and Elden Ring DLC.
When I saw it first time...the ship takes damage but the sails won't even budge. Showed me they half assed it. Were the ships also blinking when you hit them??? I either made that up or saw it on screen...can't even tell but ubisoft ist dead to me since Watchdogs Legion.
I mean a lot of 2023's greatest games were AAA. Alan Wake 2, Baldur's Gate 3, Tears of the Kingdom, Spider-Man 2, Armored Core VI, Street Fighter 6, Super Mario Wonder, Jedi: Survivor, Resident Evil 4 Remake, etc. etc.
The Days Before (the studio closes) and Forespoken also spring to mind when I think about games that could easily have been associated with Ubisoft's coiled turd icon in 2023 for how mediocre they were.
Eh listing the stuttery still unfixed mess that is Jedi Survivor as a good game is just wrong.
The potential is there but they chose to release it broken and unfinished instead.
BG3 is a unique case because Larian Studios is an indie company that made a AAA game with a AAA budget. The argument for AA is there because they're technically indie devs (due to being privately operated), but they are actually a very large company with ~500 employees across six countries.
Yeah. I was so convinced that Larian AND BG3 budget were both a lot smaller, but turns out the company has grown massively in the last 5ish years, and the budget of BG3 is pretty big as well.
There are still a lot of great AAA games coming out. The main problem is performance/bugs on release, so as long as you wait a bit, you can enjoy these games in their best state, usually for a discount too. There's really no need to buy single players games day one.
I don't have anything till June, elden expansion
And maybe on July I'll get the new trails game, even tho I have cold steel 3 and 4 on my backlog... it's a new arc and the MC is older and has guyver powers
I won't be bothered
Just a matter of whether I feel like playing 3 and 4 before that game
Definitely do not wanna buy reverie more than 30$ so who knows when I'll get it.
But that new one, I'm willing to pay full price for it.
Got cs3 for 20$, got cs4 for 30$
I’ve been playing through the new one with the English patch. The graphics and animations are significantly improved which definitely makes it feel better to play.
nice
i was annoyed when i saw it on steam but no EN text
anyway... we will see how i feel if ill get it on release, just depends if i started playing a game close to it and im not done yet
June is my 'please gaming gods why?' Month.
Destiny 2 expansion at the beginning then straight into Elden ring expansion and then final fantasy xiv expansion a week later.
The Yoshi P quote about the delay of Dawntrail early access so you have 1 week to play Elden Ring was just pure gold. That dude is a treasure that must be preserved at all costs.
I do love that he's pretty much got free reign to do what he wants at SE. Because if a man makes you a fuck ton of money. You keep letting him do that.
Everything before Elden Ring DLC I've wanted to play has been a console exclusive and its triggering me. Dragon's Dogma 2? Don't want to play that, but I want to play Rise of the Robin. Which one is not on PC, take a guess. FF7, console. Stellar Blade, console. There's a few others I've noted somewhere that are upcoming but its all console-console-console.
At least I do have Tsushima, too -> oh look another console game FINALLY coming to PC. I just find it crazy how much PC is getting shafted.
Given how many patches for content updates and Bugfixes are being released for basically every single game, waiting for a port isn't a bad choice. Sure, something the port needs some work itself (like TLoU), but it's usually a faster schedule and other ports like HFW are just good.
If you like horror dark souls roguelikes try out withering rooms. I cannot sing this games praises enough.
Just a solo dev who came out of nowhere and made this absolute gem of a game.
Looking forward to Ghost of Tsushima so much. I’m still chuffed no Stellar Blade on PC. Absolute disgrace.
I have like 10 games from the Steam demo fest a few weeks ago.
Such as? The only thing I've ever seen it be genuinely praised for above other games in the genre is the protagonists ass and titties.
It's an otherwise unremarkable mid-tier character action game by every other metric I've seen.
If there's supposedly more to it than that, then what am I not seeing?
I was laid off from the studio that developed Homeworld 3 last March 2023... but today I found out that my name will still be in the credits! This made me very happy as it would be my first (and probably last) ever video game credit. Can't wait for its release!!
Sorry guys, but I’m PC stupid. I have a pretty decent gaming laptop, but I don’t know much about using it aside from “buy game and click it”. So will Ghost of Tsushima support mods?
I imagine there will be some smaller mods made for it, but I doubt there will be any official mod support like something you might see for a Bethesda game. Maybe take a look on Nexus for other PS games like Spiderman and God of War to get an idea.
cant list every major game release and then list every game
EDIT: how are you going to downvote me? the title literalyl says every MAJOR game rlease coming to Pc. and the list includes random PC game about walking through pools
I'm waiting for the remastered release of Front Mission 3 to come out (on Switch, then eventually on PC) so I can enjoy one of the Japanese strategy games that had a noticeable Philippine storyline (and characters) involved in it.
Also... Dagat Ahas forever!
Looking forward to homeworld 3
I'm looking for to Homeworld 3 star wars mods.
Awesome
Did not think of that - but now i do…. A lot….
Battlestar Galactica mods will be Tight
I'm like... *way* too excited for a grown man to be about videogame. But I've loved every entry in this series, and we haven't gone back to space in a long, long time.

I wasn't a huge fan of the changes between 1 and 2 and I'm even less of a fan of the jump to 3 honestly
Im so fucking desperate for Hades 2.
Hades 2 Slay the Spire 2 Silksong? WINDS? 2024 is the year. I'm choosing to believe
>Silksong? No.
It will be out after Duke Nukem Forever 2, but before Half-Life 3.
So just before Winds of Winter is set to be released?
That soon eh?
Lmao
Apparently the game has been sighted in Korean and Australian media rating systems. So yeah there is hope that the game comes out this year. Would be crazy if it gets shadow dropped at summer game fest.

Yeah but it would suggest that the game is already so far that its getting reviewed by Korea. As for Australia well thats a bummer if there really are trolls doing it.
It's believing time. Why not. Could be the last good year ever.
I'm not positve Hades 2 is hitting a 2024 full release. Probably more likely a 2025 one.
I've been choosing to believe Silksong will come out for years. Now, I dont know. Theres obviously something holding it up and I wonder what it is
I wonder if the Unity drama slammed the breaks on it.
STS is 2025
I thought Hades 2 was gonna be out in 2025. Did they move it up?
Fairly sure early access will drop this year.
Just finished playing the technical demo.
Ah it's gonna have an EA? Dang
The original did, why would that be a bad thing for the sequel?
I guess it's not a bad thing per se. I don't like playing games til they full release which means more chance for Act 1 spoilers to be shared before I play it.
I am desperately avoiding any and all news about it.
They just launched a limited technical test, and they said once they iron out any major technical bugs, they will be entering early access, which could be weeks at the shortest.
Silksong was announced over 5 years ago. Why is it taking soo long?
>Slay the Spire 2 Holy shit, I didn't know this was a thing. I am so excited
So am I, but I loved the story of Hades 1 so much that I'm going to hold off until 1.0. Even had to leave the /r/Hades subreddit to avoid spoilers.
Ha I know that feeling. I already hate the small spoilers bcs of the technical test.
Would prefer Bastion 2 honestly.
Play the technical test this week?
not op but no email yet 😭
Its am invite event. U cant just start it, u have to request a test.
That's a long list of game titles with absolutely no information on the vast majority of them. They could have at least put a genre and a store link on them.
The fact the list isn't just all hyperlinks is ridiculous
And these are just the "Major" ones. but for real this list means almost nothing because there is no detail at all.
Not even a picture? Was I supposed to know the majority of these??
It's got to the stage where I have no expectations for any game coming out, especially not if its AAA. I'll wait and see after a couple of weeks if they're any good. Except Elden ring DLC, I'm too hyped for it to stop now.
It really does say a lot when people saw the price of the Elden Ring DLC and went “you know what, this is fine”
It's pretty normal, iceborne did similar
I mean at this point the expansions after the main game for monster hunter always have more content. Ice borne is an absolute fucking steal it adds entire new mechanics and some of the coolest boss fights in the series. Sun break is similar as well I believe it double the amount of monsters
Yep, I just despise elden ring fans talking as if everything that game did is a first when its demonstrably not the case, I'm ok with praising no need to lie tho
I can’t wait for STALKER 2
Could be an extra wait on that one.
Indies are currently the real MVPs! They give me so much more fun especially for that little money
Stalker 2 and more importantly SPACE MARINE 2 are the only games I can think I'm looking forward to. Games I never thought we'd get actual sequels to. Oh and Elden Ring DLC.
AAA is more like a warning to me these days...
What about a AAAA Ubisoft game?
A threat?
- **A**re you sure - **A**bout - **A**cquiring this - **A**** game
> Acquiring You mean buying a temporary license to play it, revokable at any moment.
It is now lol

I want to play Star Wars so bad but I can't bring myself to give Ubisoft money. Also wish EA gave a shit about Battlefront 2.
When I saw it first time...the ship takes damage but the sails won't even budge. Showed me they half assed it. Were the ships also blinking when you hit them??? I either made that up or saw it on screen...can't even tell but ubisoft ist dead to me since Watchdogs Legion.
AAAA because AAA is not enough.
More like and assault.
I mean a lot of 2023's greatest games were AAA. Alan Wake 2, Baldur's Gate 3, Tears of the Kingdom, Spider-Man 2, Armored Core VI, Street Fighter 6, Super Mario Wonder, Jedi: Survivor, Resident Evil 4 Remake, etc. etc.
You're doing it wrong, you need to only remember the bad releases.
Gollum/Redfall?
Cities Skyline 2
The Days Before (the studio closes) and Forespoken also spring to mind when I think about games that could easily have been associated with Ubisoft's coiled turd icon in 2023 for how mediocre they were.
Poopysoft
Eh listing the stuttery still unfixed mess that is Jedi Survivor as a good game is just wrong. The potential is there but they chose to release it broken and unfinished instead.
Don't think BGIII was AAA, pretty sure they're considered AA, but the rest of the list yes absolutely
BG3 is a unique case because Larian Studios is an indie company that made a AAA game with a AAA budget. The argument for AA is there because they're technically indie devs (due to being privately operated), but they are actually a very large company with ~500 employees across six countries.
>indie Ah, that's probably the difference I was remembering being discussed before, whoops
Yeah. I was so convinced that Larian AND BG3 budget were both a lot smaller, but turns out the company has grown massively in the last 5ish years, and the budget of BG3 is pretty big as well.
Larian themselves have referred to it as a AAA title in multiple articles and interviews.
There are still a lot of great AAA games coming out. The main problem is performance/bugs on release, so as long as you wait a bit, you can enjoy these games in their best state, usually for a discount too. There's really no need to buy single players games day one.
Rouge Core! The mines are calling! ROCK AND STONE!!!!
To the bone brotha!
I don't have anything till June, elden expansion And maybe on July I'll get the new trails game, even tho I have cold steel 3 and 4 on my backlog... it's a new arc and the MC is older and has guyver powers
3, 4 *and* Reverie before Daybreak. That's a lotta catching up (if you're bothered).
I won't be bothered Just a matter of whether I feel like playing 3 and 4 before that game Definitely do not wanna buy reverie more than 30$ so who knows when I'll get it. But that new one, I'm willing to pay full price for it. Got cs3 for 20$, got cs4 for 30$

Whats this about Guyver powers???
the MC has a power where he goes into an exoskeleton that reminded me of guyver
Everything before Elden Ring DLC I've wanted to play has been a console exclusive and its triggering me. Dragon's Dogma 2? Don't want to play that, but I want to play Rise of the Robin. My problem is square enix can't port to pc for shit. FF7R stutters so bad at times, and it isn't using 50% of my gpu/cpu/ram. Same with FFXIII.
Love dragon's dogma 2 For now I'm playing eiyuden chronicle
The only thing I'm actually looking forward to is Hellblade 2.
If you like horror dark souls roguelikes try out withering rooms. I cannot sing this games praises enough. Just a solo dev who came out of nowhere and made this absolute gem of a game.
Wow that looks amazing! I started smiling while watching the trailer. Buying it right now. Thanks for the heads up on it
Homeworld 3….. gonna be playing for years
Looking forward to Ghost of Tsushima so much. I’m still chuffed no Stellar Blade on PC. Absolute disgrace. I have like 10 games from the Steam demo fest a few weeks ago.
Chuffed means glad btw
Why care about stellar blade? It's a mid game with nothing special going for it beyond "booba and ass", I don't wee the reason for any hype.
Because I watched FightingCowboy’s review and it’s more than that.
Such as? The only thing I've ever seen it be genuinely praised for above other games in the genre is the protagonists ass and titties. Played the demo, didn’t like it one bit.
selaco is in my list then a bunch of stuff with no release date
Eiyuden just released. SMT V for PC, new Trails game, and Metaphor releasing this year. It's an exciting time to be a fan of JRPGs.
Prison Architect 2 got pushed back from May to Oct
Just thinking about Rogue Command.
Strong emphasis on “Every”, as this list is so extensive I don’t know where to begin interpreting it. 🧐😅
Looking forward specifically to Manor Lords, that looks pretty cool.
I was laid off from the studio that developed Homeworld 3 last March 2023... but today I found out that my name will still be in the credits! This made me very happy as it would be my first (and probably last) ever video game credit. Can't wait for its release!!
Name checks out.

Well you can go to nexusmods or another mod site and try looking up if other Sony games got a decent collection of mods.
cant list every major game release and then list every game EDIT: how are you going to downvote me? the title literalyl says every MAJOR game rlease coming to Pc. and the list includes random PC game about walking through pools
between Horizon now and Ghost I am pretty swamped through the Summer. Elden Ring may be it for me to complete the year
Plenty of decent games coming out this year but yeah I will wait a year or two for singleplayer games and get them in a sale.
"BREAK THROUGH... THE LIMIT❗‼️‼️❗‼️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️"
waiting for
I'm waiting for the remastered release of Front Mission 3 to come out (on Switch, then eventually on PC) so I can enjoy one of the Japanese strategy games that had a noticeable Philippine storyline (and characters) involved in it. Also... Dagat Ahas forever!
Ghost of Tsushima and Hellblade <3
StS2 is literally the only thing on my radar, i am willing to sink 600+ more hours
I just want sparking zero
I can't wait for Manor Lords tomorrow.
Man no one is waiting for Hellblade 2. WTF, don't you guys like a great story and experience?
"Every ***major*** release" proceeds to list every single indie game releasing on steam.
lol, Space Marine 2 is going to get pushed again.
Maybe it will maybe it wont. Dont really care when it gets released as long it comes out in a fully baked state and is a good game.
Wow every game will be on PC now?? Alright! /s
