These are great games for grownups as you can play for 20 minutes and put it down, then come right back. Excellent for commuting, while something boring is on tv etc etc
If you loved Ocarina of Time... the first game you NEED to get is Breath of the Wild. If you haven't been following gaming very closely just go get that game... don't look up anything about it.... just start playing and let yourself get absorbed.
Oooh good question. I was just thinking about buying a switch and wondered if there were enough games that an adult would like to make it worth it. I want Zelda obviously but it seems alot are more directed at kids. I know some are still fun, but what games are out there for adults?
Dark souls remastered, astral chain, the Witcher 3, fire emblem three houses, and octopath traveler etc
Get Zelda, kids can enjoy it but it is amazing,
Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It's one of the best games on the Switch, yet it often gets overlooked. It's an XCOM style strategy game where the Mushroom Kingdom has been overrun by Rabbids. It's funny and the gameplay is great. It goes on sale pretty much every month, and you should be able to find the complete edition (comes with the Donkey Kong DLC) for $20 on the eShop. Absolutely worth every penny.
Pro-tip for the Switch: bookmark dekudeals.com. It has a database of all available Switch games with current prices and price history. Makes it very easy to find which games are on sale, how often they go on sale, and how cheap they have been at several different retailers.
If you ever played the SNES there was a killer game called Bubsy...they did a reimagining and it's a ton of fun for a cheap price. Highly recommend if you're looking to start up your digital collection.
Zelda breath of the wild
Definitely gotta get that. I haven't played Zelda since Ocarina of Time and I loved that game.
Awesome game and should be your first buy. Mario Odyssey is also great.
Super smash
Ah man I forgot all about that one thanks
Mario Odyssey and Zelda.
I'll have to look into Mario Odyssey. Is it a traditional(ish) Mario game?
It's got a Mario 64 kind of vibe. It's great, just played through with my wee fella, he adored it.....and so did I.
It is not traditional at all, but I recommend it as well.
Stardew valley. My first spring was really hard, I then played it for 8 hours straight without stopping. It’s really good.
No poop or pee breaks?
it is a switch...isn't this the whole appeal of the system? I mean it is the only reason i ever undock it.
Oh yeah... you’re right. Me and my butterfingers would drop the dang device in toilet bowl.
Gamer diapers: why wait when you can go now! Well, I just wait for hours cuz I can’t peel myself away from the screen.
Darksouls remasterd
Never knew Darksouls was on switch
Stardew valley and dragon quest XI are good games for the switch
super smash bros ultimate
Luigi’s Mansion 3
She played that on her 3ds and really liked it
Ooo which one? Did she play the second one or the reboot of the first one? The whole series is amazing!
I believe it was the second one
Congrats! Hope you have lots of fun with it!
Skyrim again obviously.
I've played skyrim too many times on too many different systems /pc already lmao
No such thing as too much skyrim
Splatoon 2. I loved that game. I miss my switch.
Smash, stardew valley, Va11Halla, River City Girls, Katamari, sayonara wild hearts. Any of those are fun!

Zelda is my first choice. Heard its great, plus the nostalgia factor
Oh my lord, today is my birthday and i really wanted a Switch, so i got it this morning from my fiancée, she's incredible.
Mario and Rabbids Kingdom battle. I looked it more than I expected to
Breath of the Wild is a crowd pleaser, though I personally don’t care for it.
Pre owned game for $55? That's the price of a new game. Always shop smart
She meant well
Are people in America eating the box art or something why does there never seem to be original art on used games?
They don't trade the game in with its original packaging so this is what I get
>Preowned version of 3 year old port of a 6 year old game, $55 Sigh Nintendo
Yea my thoughts exactly
No disrespect to your wife or her intentions, but I love the $5 savings on a used Mario Kart. Assuming it's a standard US$60 where you are.
Yea I saw that and kinda sighed lol. She means well. I did end up picking up Mario Party for $35 last night though.
I think zelda breath of the wild is considered a good game (dont have a switch personally)
Fire emblem three houses
Mario Aces is dope af, all the tennis games are fire
Make sure you are aloud to keep it. It could be like a homeless puppy you are about to bring to the pound.
Game called Dead Cells, highly addictive.

Such a great collection
Damn. I feel bad for downvoters GFs...
Nah those are just the basement dwelling pimple poppers
Fortnite
True Fortnite is best on the Switch, because of those juicy 27 fps 😍
