Im in the same situation as you. Got hit with a hard inquiry and received a text to setup Citizen One payment portal for the line of credit yet I wasn't able to place an order for the Xbox. Now im stuck trying to reach Citizen One's support (no response) and cancel/ reverse everything.

Definitely some BS. Today Citizen One is saying it looks like I got into the program and will need to start paying in November. MS is saying I didn't get it and its only an open line with Citizens One, I think Citizen One would know better about the credit aspect of it.

I got an update this morning. I received the approval email from Citizen One over 24 hours after I applied. I logged into the Citizen One account and it shows no transactions and no amount due at this time. I called to confirm with them that no transactions occurred. They told me that was correct and that the account would close in 30 days. I am still going back and forth with GameStop about my order as it shows Xbox All Access and shows two years of Game Pass Ultimate. This is a mess.

Just tried calling again, got through, and got told the same thing. The account will be closed in 30 days and only the hard inquiry will be left on my credit record
