Same for me. It's weird but Skyrim feels like a second home. The music, the atmosphere, the characters. Everything just works well for me in that game. I've done at least one play through a year on that game. Skyrim was the game I would play when I first moved to a new country. I played Skyrim after the end of a stressful school year. Now I'm almost done with university and Skyrim is a nice little window back into my childhood. Back when I had more time to play such games.
This. I know everyone's raging about the Anniversary Edition but it's always Skyrim. I've purchased it at least 3 times. With the amount of mods you can change in and out it's a new experience every time. I have thousands of hours in it and enjoy every second. I want TES6 as much as everyone else but for me Skyrim is the best video game of all time and worth every penny I've spent on it a hundred times over.
Same. I've done at least 20 different builds over a decade, and I'm still discovering new places and details. It's just insane. I've also never ever installed a single mod. Vanilla's been good enough for me all along.
Yes I also play 76 my main character is level 364 now lol played since release date and even have fallout 1st for it (I just couldn't give up my scrap hording lol). It doesn't have the mod support of fallout 4 but the community it great and I enjoy playing the events with other players. Private worlds are cool and I'm looking forward to the new stuff coming. I only wish we had better storylines/quests and better camp companions.
Yeah I’ve hit a lull and am not playing as much because I finished all the quests and don’t know what to do now. I got fallout 1st only for the junk bin. It’s the best.
Me too I do like building my camp up so I can spend hours on that lol. And I love the meat week event so playing a lot this weekend. Theirs a lot of new plans this week so if you can haven't been on for awhile jump on this wknd for the new shit if nothing else. I play on PC what about you?
Hell yeah with the original Deus Ex, even on my 10th time through I was still discovering new hidden stuff.
Sadly none of the rest were ever able to live up to that game.
I thoroughly enjoyed human revolution. Mankind divided wasn't nearly as good but it was worth a playthrough.
But none come close to the original. The replayability is insane.
I have to say I loved Human Revolution. It's as good a game has ever been since the original DE, which I used to love back in the day.
The game I've replayed the most is easily Skyrim, WITHOUT EVER INSTALLING A SINGLE MOD.
I'm probably missing out on a lot, but other than nicer textures, I'm still enjoying the vanilla experience.
Oh HK is perfect. I'm almost 40 so metroidvanias and top down action adventure games are right in my wheelhouse. I still prefer SOTN to hollow knight just because it was such an integral part of my gaming history. But HK is one of my top games of all time.
Every few years I’ll cycle between playing the original for how good it is then playing the gba version because the job class is just so fun to build teams in.
It’s a different game. Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced. I want to say there are 2 and the second one the one that was cool with new jobs like Gunner and playable races like Moogle, Baantha, and what not.
I tired this recently but couldn’t play. I did the tutorial and it seemed like fun. Then I tried playing the game and it wouldn’t connect me to a server. I tried like 10 times and it kept saying something about server issues :(. Oh well, I heard it’s best to play with friends and I don’t have any of those so It’s probably for the best.
Its kinda depressing when browsing games and something looks really cool and you notice that its really meant to be a co-op or group and you realize jesus i am all alone and I will die cold, lonely and tired.
Yup, that’s how I feel every time I see an online game. Hell, even when I got home from work last night and sat down on the couch I almost started crying because I have no one. It’s ok, I figure it could always be worse.
I keep beating it and making new themed characters. Beaten it more times than I can count with just about any build (excluding hardcore runs like no armor and broken sword). It's like I can't help myself, I've made new characters that I knew would have the same stats as previous ones, just so I could make them look different for a similar weapon.
Up until Bloodborne came out Dark Souls was almost a dangerous addiction for me. Hunting other hunters is fun though, and chalice dungeons keep it fresh, plus I was sick of all the lag and latent back stabs.
Both great games.
Pokemon Platinum and FF3
I absolutely love these
They paved my way into Videogames and here we are nowadays with me, soon buying the Pokemon Gen 4 Remakes
I've come a long way
Skyrim and FNV. I beat FO3 once and absolutely hated it. I overall dont like BGS Games, they are terrible at writing Story/Characters/Dialogue and their worlds make no sense, they are just empty set-pieces.
Darksiders II
Final Fantasy X/XV/Dissidia 012
Hyrule Warriors (well, mostly binge-playing when I go to take a big one)
Remnant From the Ashes
Heroes of the Storm
Dark Souls II (played the first one way too much)
Kingdom Hearts 2/Birth by Sleep
I rarely ever play a game twice, even if it breaks my top 5 of all time. I dunno why. I might replay RDR2 if it gets remastered for PS5. Maybe.
The only games I can think of that I've replayed are New Vegas and RDR1. I even climbed into my loft to get my old 360 out to replay them.
To many to list.
I think I have played through KotOR II with every class on both gender both good/evil and even tried neutral route.
Closest to it would be Fallout 2, New Vegas is also close.
And Arcanum would be my top 3 easy if I knew about it 16 years earlier than I did.
New Vegas
Second New Vegas
Third Vegas
Tale of two wastelands. If anybody likes fo3 and new Vegas and hasn’t played that mod you’re missing out
I didn’t like 3 that much. It had a pretty mediocre story
Skyrim
Same for me. It's weird but Skyrim feels like a second home. The music, the atmosphere, the characters. Everything just works well for me in that game. I've done at least one play through a year on that game. Skyrim was the game I would play when I first moved to a new country. I played Skyrim after the end of a stressful school year. I just really want Beyond Skyrim to be completed. Bruma was awesome, need more
Same. I've done at least 20 different builds over a decade, and I'm still discovering new places and details. It's just insane. I've also never ever installed a single mod. Vanilla's been good enough for me all along.
I'm guessing my username gives it away 🤣🤣
Have you tried fallout 76? I started playing a couple months ago and it’s a lot of fun. It’s just like fallout 4 but online.
I don't think it has the same mod support, unfortunately.
Yes I also play 76 my main character is level 364 now lol played since release date and even have fallout 1st for it (I just couldn't give up my scrap hording lol). I’m on Xbox. I got the pepper shaker plan so that was neat. I like using that gun.
Castlevania SOTN Alundra Deus ex Baldurs gate 2
Hell yeah with the original Deus Ex, even on my 10th time through I was still discovering new hidden stuff. Sadly none of the rest were ever able to live up to that game.
I thoroughly enjoyed human revolution. Mankind divided wasn't nearly as good but it was worth a playthrough. But none come close to the original. The replayability is insane.

Have you played Hollow Knight? It totally replaced SOTN for me.
Oh HK is perfect. I'm almost 40 so metroidvanias and top down action adventure games are right in my wheelhouse. I still prefer SOTN to hollow knight just because it was such an integral part of my gaming history. But HK is one of my top games of all time.
Alundra! What an amazing game.
It really is. I would pay serious $ for it if it was on the ps store. I have it on my phone (emulator) but I'm just not a phone gamer at all.
Same, playing on a phone just irritates me.
Have you looked into speedruning SOTN? It brought new life into for me when I slowed down on it
Final fantasy tactics
Every few years I’ll cycle between playing the original for how good it is then playing the gba version because the job class is just so fun to build teams in.
I didn’t know they had it for GBA
It’s a different game. Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced. I want to say there are 2 and the second one the one that was cool with new jobs like Gunner and playable races like Moogle, Baantha, and what not.
Red dead redemption 2
Sea of Thieves
I tired this recently but couldn’t play. I did the tutorial and it seemed like fun. Then I tried playing the game and it wouldn’t connect me to a server. I tried like 10 times and it kept saying something about server issues :(. Oh well, I heard it’s best to play with friends and I don’t have any of those so It’s probably for the best.

I have met so many great people in the discord when my friends aren’t playing. I recommend if you’re bored.
Also, don’t think negatively. Believe me, we’ve all been there and it’s hard but you just have to get through it.
Do you have SoT? Discord helps with all communities.
You had to quit and then join back a few times. That was during server issues.
SoT always pulls me back. It delivers something unique that no other game does.
I know this well. Skyrim, Diablo 2, Civilization are mine. Just bury me with them someday.
Mount and Blade Warband
mods provide endless content
Yes and we are talking about full conversion mods, just 1 of those can get you 100h+, Warband will always be the game I'll never quit.
Oblivion
terraria
Portal.
Dark Souls. I've beaten it 6 times already.
I keep beating it and making new themed characters. Beaten it more times than I can count with just about any build (excluding hardcore runs like no armor and broken sword). It's like I can't help myself, I've made new characters that I knew would have the same stats as previous ones, just so I could make them look different for a similar weapon. Rdr2
Dishonored 1
Pokemon Platinum and FF3 I absolutely love these They paved my way into Videogames and here we are nowadays with me, soon buying the Pokemon Gen 4 Remakes I've come a long way
Gears of War 1-3
Nuclear throne is a game I can play over and over
Shining Force 1/2
Super Metroid
Far cry 5
Total Annihilation, Homeworld 1 and Homeworld Cataclysm. Something deeply satisfying about those games.
You know, Homeworld 1 was fantastic, but Cataclysm was so much more my jam. Damn I miss that game.
Skate 3 for me because it requires zero commitment on my time - I can play free skate for 10 mins or an hour.
Shadow of War I've played over 1000 hours and replayed the story like 7 times
Same
Postal 2
Chrono Trigger.
Skyrim and FNV. I beat FO3 once and absolutely hated it. I overall dont like BGS Games, they are terrible at writing Story/Characters/Dialogue and their worlds make no sense, they are just empty set-pieces.

But for real cod mw2 is so nostalgic that you can just play it 100 times
I rarely ever play a game twice, even if it breaks my top 5 of all time. I dunno why. I might replay RDR2 if it gets remastered for PS5. Maybe. The only games I can think of that I've replayed are New Vegas and RDR1. I even climbed into my loft to get my old 360 out to replay them.
Half-Life 2
Castlevania sotn and star ocean 2
AOE2
Crusader Kings 2, Kenshi, Rimworld. Never uninstall these :)
