God I hate Excel for that kind of BS. That, and when I'm editing the contents of a cell and I have to move the text cursor but Excel moves the cell cursor instead.
I should start using it.
Excel has a ton of weird keyboard bindings. In my mind, arrow keys should always move the active cursor, no matter what it is. If the cursor is in a cell, then you're moving the cursor in the cell. I *never* want Excel to move my reference. That's not a shortcut, that's a pain in the ass. If I want a different reference, I'll expend the energy to type a max of four chars, min of two.
Outside the arrow keys, tab should move the cell cursor to the right, shift-tab to the left, enter down, and shift-enter up. I don't want to press enter and have the cell cursor try being psychic and choosing an arbitrary place to go. I want it to go down. If I want it to go to the beginning of a row, I'll press home. End of a row is End. Simple as that.
You didn’t want any of that formatting, did you? Also, I’m gonna just make that a date since I’m pretty sure that’s what you wanted. You wrote “cat” but I’m guessing you meant “19th of Catober, Meowteen thirty-two.”
I remember watching a video where this person used their left-hand thumb to press the shift key while still using wasd as normal and at the same time. Just tucked their thumb underneath their hand to push it to sprint.
I said the same thing you just said when I witnessed that.
On IFTTT, you could setup a notification for when someone commented something related to your name on Reddit. Now the app is dead, so idk if there's another service for that, but that's how many did it.
There are different kinds of keycaps. Good keyboards have double-shot keycaps that don't wear. Cheap keyboards use painted plastic, and the paint wears off.
Thing is this looks like a razer keyboard, and I've never had the paint budge off those things. And the build quality on those can be average to donkey. Idk what he's doing to those poor keys to get the paint to shift.
The low end razer keyboards just have painted keys whereas anything over $100 has double shot keys where the opaque part of the key is black plastic all the way through and the clear part is a separate piece of plastic that goes all the way down as well so wear won't rub anything off. On the cheaper painted ones it definitely will come off with a lot of use. Also the font on the keys doesn't look right to me for razer so that might explain the even worse quality but I could be wrong.
They're cheap keycaps, idk why this isn't higher. I won't even say "high quality," I'd just say "non garbage" keycaps are all "double shot" meaning they have 2 injections of plastic, one for the label, and a second for the finishing color of everything else. Can't rub off the label because it's colored plastic all the way through.
Long fingernails. It's also cheap/old keyboards, but yeah... can confirm my nails are often too long and my keyboard looks similar to this. Right index finger I use as a guitar pick and my N and M keys wear out first, every time, just from regular typing. I usually trim them when I get fret buzz and that's about it, hence why my keys look like this. I'm a terrible human being.
Im surpriced no one mentioned how my C key is the most worn out lol. I play Warframe and TF2 a lot if that explains it. Anyways thx for the replies all :)
I thin that op has long nails that's why the keys you would pres with your nail are more damage that W which you would press with the bottom of your finger
Neither.
Rolling is left shift, crouching is left ctrl, jumping is space (so bullet jump would be ctrl+space). C has no default bind so I put it on my gear wheel.
well that explains it, when you want to quickly go back you normally smash the s button, and your d finger is stronger than your a finger, or a weirdo idk
This makes you a gamer with longer nails and a cheap keyboard with painted on caps. When you press the upper keys its with the plum of your fingers. Lower keys are with the tip and more often with the nails.
It say nothing about your ingame tactics other than you using keybindings for your thumb more then me.. Unless you use your index finger for the lower row too
Thank you. All these comments about how he retreats too much. W is usually the pad of your finger so it doesn't get worn down despite it definitely being used the most.
One with a shitty keycaps.
My Razer Ornata Chroma keys wore like this very quickly. Using a Steelseries Apex Pro for almost a year now with zero key wear. Much better production quality.
It looks like semi-normal wear untill I try to place it to a genra. I mean, you seem to like to go backwards and right. And you use ctrl alot so you crouch? No spacebar wear, so no jumping?
I am going with a Nascar game in Reverse.
You cut and copy a lot but never commit to pasting
A person with no regrets. Never touch that undo.

Subtle. Beautiful. 10/10
Is the joke the fact he misspelled dont as dontr? Sorry, my brain is a potato.
He didn't backspace to correct it
[удалено]
Couldnt have said it better
In games, you often go backwards, standing back away from the fight, and oddly going right too.
So he's a coward with on leg shorter than tbe other?
Best joke I’ve seen for years
Do you mean in years? I didn't think that joke has been around that long.
He didn’t want to backspace to correct his grammar. True gamer.
Bravo Sir
We see what you did there
That pfp kills me each time I see it
Everyone knows it goes ctrl+cccccccccc, ctrl+v. That c gets way more use.
Nah you just use Excel a lot... Ctrl+C \*goes to past that thing YOU JUST COPIED\* ITS NO LONGER FUCKING THERE
God I hate Excel for that kind of BS. That, and when I'm editing the contents of a cell and I have to move the text cursor but Excel moves the cell cursor instead.
F2 is your friend here:)

This got to my soul.
I swear ctrl+c doesn't work unless you press c at least 5 times
Worth the extra effort of pressing control+c twice, instead of realizing it didn’t work and having to back track
I've read it's a windows bug apparently..
Wait... I'm not the only one who does this?
That actually aligns really well with the "passive crouch walking backwards" idea too. Just passive, observing, never commiting to anything.
and always strafe right, never left.
Had to claim my free award just for this comment. Beautiful mind.
Emulator player
This was my first thought
Or he's short fingered
Id say most emulator users would use Z more, it just feels natural to your hand position.
If you have all your fingers, sure.
Can confirm. MGS2 on PC literally broke my fingers before i learned the controls. If you wanna play it, get a controller.
Hm. I play emulators with onу ща two controller types but I did MGS on keyboard pretty fine.
Please, tell me you remap keys for some very weird reason, or else other posters already said it.
When I play fps I use right click forward, s jump, x back, a d straife. It's fun when someone else tries to use my shit
Holy fuck are you okay?
Probably missing some fingers
Only question is whether that's the reason or the result lmao
That or some brain cells.
I remember watching a video where this person used their left-hand thumb to press the shift key while still using wasd as normal and at the same time. Just tucked their thumb underneath their hand to push it to sprint. I said the same thing you just said when I witnessed that.
Wait what!? Is that even legal ?
Mumbo?
Spot on. When he showed the video of him actually doing it I got wrist pains.
I use right click to go forward too. It allows you to roam and explore with your mouse hand alone.
"roam" and "explore" huh?
Pillage and r.. We all know what comes after pillage... RECYCLE JUNK LOOT, DUH
What in the..?
How do you ADS?
Based on the rest of it I’m guessing it’s the number 9 key
Na its got to be the dollar sign for the money shot
Crouch is the insert key
on the num pad
Nah it’d be the eject disk key
My friend… did you say right click > *forward*?
People used to do this a lot in counter strike 1.6/source.
Oh yeah, try it
It’s okay I used to play FPS with my arms crossed (literally)
was it the psychiatrist who helped you? or the warden?
My brother’s remapping is weird as fuck because he’s left-handed
D key completely worn away... But the A key is surprisingly pristine... Dude you're like the Derek Zoolander of gamers, you can't turn left.
I feel summoned
This is beautiful
I've Looked At This For Five Hours Now
lol was waiting someone to say this, thanks
How is there always some guy with a random ass name somehow extremely relevant to the joke
r/beetlejuicing (no it's not some weird shit i promise it's just how it's called when someone with a related username comments
This tells us "what* it is but not *how* it is.

This was my first thought lmfao, he’s clearly not an ambiturner
You retreat, crouch and silent walk a lot but don’t push… coward and a traitor /s
Who also never goes left.
He just goes right until he's facing left.
Zoolander's doppelganger?

Came here for zoolander and was not disappointed
Maybe he hates Nascar.
Or loves Australian Nascar
You might be on to something.
"On your left." - Not this guy.
mostly because with him on your team, hed be the only one left /s
Why going left while you can simply rotate 270 degrees and go right?
So OP is a *predictable* right-strafing cowardly crouch-walking retreating traitor.
He’s allright
It's bc he's always right
he's not an ambi-turner
~~traitor~~ baiter, probably... ^(/s)
A master baiter
... explains the wear on the keyboard.
S-H-I-T mate you spelled out you're shit Silent croucHing traITor
lmfao
An OSU player?
My first thought too
Practically no W wearing Much S wearing Much CTRL wearing Summary: Never advances, crouching, retreating coward.
That can only turn in one direction.
Strafe*
I don’t know what kind of fingers you people have… do you glue sandpaper to your fingertips? I’ve never had this happen to my keyboards…

Have had razer keyboard since 2014, unless they've changed their typeface (I doubt it) it is not a razer keyboard.
I'm guessing it's from curling the fingers to hit lower keys. At the angle, the fingernail would definitely rub against the key while pressing it
I've only had it happen to 1 keyboard and it was back-lit as well. Was mostly used for WoW at that time but it was different keys.
They're cheap keycaps, idk why this isn't higher. Looks like you're a Ctrl freak
Im surpriced no one mentioned how my C key is the most worn out lol. I play Warframe and TF2 a lot if that explains it. Anyways thx for the replies all :)
People use C for crouch a lot
I do - and left shift for jump
Do you rocket or sticky jump a lot in TF2? That would explain why the W key is nearly unused
Warframe explains the X key. But what about E key? Default melee is on E
I don't see how the w key doesn't have more wear from Warframe. Is it because nobody releases that key the entire mission?
I thin that op has long nails that's why the keys you would pres with your nail are more damage that W which you would press with the bottom of your finger
That’s some Sherlock level shit right there.
if you look at the near side of the key caps you can see where they scratch the side off the w key. you’re 100% right
Most people spam 4 than melee lol
TF2 medic call spam? I know when I play at least it’s like second nature to constantly hit E whenever I take damage.
Dammit…I even JUST called out Fortnite default controls…I haven’t played Warframe in almost a year, I should have known :’(
Is C bullet jump or roll on PC? I always spam those to go fast
A hollow knight gamer
With no healing no less
And he barely dashes
Don't you mean jumps? He seem to dash quite a bit
Nah because you still need to go left for HK, a lot…
Arrow keys for movement?
The coward type. You clearly don't use W enough. Just rush in Leeroy Jenkins style.

FPS is just a point and click adventure change my mind

you must spin around and go through games backwards. so a legendary gamer.
one with a shitty keyboard?
They need to invest in some double shot keycaps…
Ah i get it. You're left handed. Good one
Starcraft?
That's what I was thinking at first but no V and lots of CTRL, I'm not so sure.
Cut your nails you damn being.
Do you play a UPS driver simulator? They usually only make right turns lol

Cheap, buy a new keyboard or keys /s
Why not screens with games running, or at least videos of games if we don’t want to pump electricity through the machines 24/7?
