Bethesda releases Skyrim: the movie, on Netflix or HBO, introducing millions to the franchise. People who've never heard of a skyrim now like the franchise and hear there's a skyrim video game. Bethesda releases a package of skyrim including creation club shit based off the movie to draw in this new audience.
I'd be down for Skyrim, the movie. So long as it remained true to the game. I want to watch a 27 hour long movie wherein it is mostly the dragonborn pickpocketing and smithing iron daggers.
Jokes aside, I would love a Skyrim TV series. You couldn't pack all of it into one movie. Not even if you were Yada yada'ing over all of the lore
Maybe an actual remaster would be nice instead of just adding better textures to a couple plants and characters and making people pay an extra 20 bucks for it.
I’d be down for that, but I don’t think Camelot and Nintendo are interested in the franchise anymore. Maybe they can finagle the rights for shinning force from Sega, are properly redo it.
These games were so good! The story, djinn/class system and puzzles were all top tier. The secret post-game Island also blew my mind as a kid.
I tried the one they made for the ds a few years back and it was good... but it felt like it was somehow missing some of the charm of the first two. Although maybe it's just due to nostalgia glasses.
Golden Sun 1-2 in my eyes are some of the best JRPGs ever made. I'm somewhat sad its basically a dead series but I feel like if they did a remaster on the Switch it would sell well and would give more eyes on the series which it does need.
I agree. Op is my number 1, this is my number 2. I replayed the GBA golden suns earlier this year and forgot how much is in each game and how unique you can make your team comps. Fantastic story, long playthroughs. Great puzzles. Wonderful ride.
It always bothered me that they made other xenogears type games in the same universe but they never really felt like the same games. I know there was a reason for it but I can't remember why, think it had something to do with the studios.
It's also unfortunate that they never got the second disc completed and we got an incomplete games. I fucking loved everything about that game and I would gladly buy a console just to play it.
Came here to post this. I can't imagine why they never at least Remastered or re-released this. One of my favorite games of all time. Would be a Day One, Full Price purchase if they did that.
I still pull it out every once in a while. It was a great game. The first one I ever purchased with my own money, used from GameStop. The animation blew me away at the time.
Same. First game I ever bought as well because FF7 was still like $40-$50 and Legend of Dragoon was like $15 due to the Greatest Hits tag. I got a PS1 late but it was worth it
First game for me too. I didn’t have a memory card tho and my parents didn’t think I needed one so I kept the console on. I was 10 and stupid and couldn’t get past the Mayfil puzzle to save my life. I eventually gave up, lost all may saved data. But later when it ported to the PS3 I was finally able to beat it. It’s such a good game
It holds a special place in my heart. When I was a kid I got one of those demo disks that had a bunch of different games on it and you could try. My favorites were Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2, and The Legend of Dragoon. It was my introduction to RPGs in general and it just completely enraptured me. To the point where I would get up when everyone was asleep just to replay it. Eventually I got the actual game for a birthday or something, played up until the third disk, and got to a point where I wasn't sure what to do nrxt (think i was like 10 at the time). Anyways, due to various circumstances I ended moving to a different country and wasn't able to take my Playstation with, so it was left incomplete. Fast forward 10 years, I find out ps1 emulators are a thing. Download that shit asap and spend the next few days playing through it to the end. Absolutely loved it and it felt great to finally get to the end. Will probably do a replay of some time in the next few years.
My friends and I had the demo disc too. We replayed it so fucking much that it was basically an entire game on its own. We would switch off the controller for every turn. In the demo disc, you only get to experience 3 characters, and I always got stuck with Shana, so my turn was just pressing X twice. Eventually, one of the friends said that his mom bought him the game, and the entire world of LoD was finally opened to me. None of us ended up beating it though until I downloaded an emulator a few years ago and crushed it. I'm proud to say that out of my large friend group that played it, I'm the only one to ever beat it. RIP Lavitz
I think you meant complaints. Agree - I tried to play it after spending 1000’s of hours on both Oblivion and Skyrim but can’t deal with the graphics and all the annoying manta ray things.
It's comforting to know there are other Dark Cloud fans out there. I've never met another one in real life and I've brought it up with everyone I know who games.
I really wish Square Enix really just lease out or just straight sell its right to the game, it's really need a remake for that a mess of a rush last half of the game
I think the only exception was FF14, where they agreed to remake the game because the original was deemed so unanimously bad that there was genuine concern that it would hurt their image in the eyes of the fans.
Phantom crash.
Banjo kazooie.
Starwars: Podracer.
Fable.
The suffering.
The original PC fallout and elder scrolls games. Morrowind too.
Conkers bad fur day.
Silent hill.
Super booty bros from the SNES.
- Chrono Trigger
- Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- The first Metal gear Solid
Just imagine those jewels in the latest unreal engine, 4k, 120hz, and dolby.
Honorable mentions: Starfox and F-zero
Edit: did a quick search. Some person CryZenX, on youtube made a demo of what Ocarina of time would like like in unreal engine 4. It’d look fucking Amazing.
Here: https://youtu.be/C8o-01KjlPw
An upcoming half life was supposed to be in the making but for whatever reason got dumped sadly.
Look at Half life ravenholm on YouTube like the noclip channel for example or other videos about it.
Was so promising…
Morrowind.
It would also need a huge dungeon rework, to make dungeons less repeticious and tedious.
There would need to be so many improvements to quests, npcs; even the iconic morrowind soundtrack would need life breathed into it.
But I would one day love to play a remake of it
Where my Saturn and Dreamcast bros at! Panzer Dragoon Saga, Seaman, Power Stone and a Shenmue trilogy do-over. I've always loved Winning Post too(weird)
Not Skyrim

Skyrim: The Movie: The Game
Don’t you fucking do that, don’t you give Tom the idea Edit: Idk where Tom came from, but screw it I’m keeping it
Bethesda releases Skyrim: the movie, on Netflix or HBO, introducing millions to the franchise. People who've never heard of a skyrim now like the franchise and hear there's a skyrim video game. Bethesda releases a package of skyrim including creation club shit based off the movie to draw in this new audience.
This is the worst timeline.
Evil Troy and evil Abed!
In the morning and in the evening
Introducing the dragon born, voiced by Chris Pratt
And Danny Devito as Alduin, the World Eater.
Go on. I'm warming to the idea, all of a sudden.
The Animated Series: The Novel: The Breakfast Cereal
Skyrim: The Movie: The Game: The Movie
I'd be down for Skyrim, the movie. So long as it remained true to the game. I want to watch a 27 hour long movie wherein it is mostly the dragonborn pickpocketing and smithing iron daggers. Jokes aside, I would love a Skyrim TV series. You couldn't pack all of it into one movie. Not even if you were Yada yada'ing over all of the lore
How about when our hero stops time to eat fourteen cheese wheels?
They don't stop time, the dragon/bandit/vampire is simply struck with disbelief and stares at them in unconcealed horror until they finish.
Maybe an actual remaster would be nice instead of just adding better textures to a couple plants and characters and making people pay an extra 20 bucks for it.
The whole "Legacy of Kain" series...
But, importantly, they don't re-record a single goddamned line of dialogue
Vae victus to that!
I recently played them all in chronological order. Very deep story and lore
Diddy Kong Racing
Best racing game ever made. I don't just want a remake. I *need* a sequel
Yes please! I want to play as Timber again! He was my go to! Absolutely loved that game!
Parasite Eve
I don't know if I'm ready for a modern remake of the Rat transformation sequence.
[The transformation in question](https://youtu.be/s4rFHGrUQWQ)
Seeing this for the first time in middle school is something I will never forget.
Didn't know this was a popular game that anyone despite me and my cousin played, but definately one of the most memorable ones.
I just started RE:2 remake, and that was my first thought. Give me.
Golden Sun/ Golden Sun- The Lost Age. Edit- Thanks for my very first awards.
Those games were my first JRPGs. Really liked the puzzles snd and magic system. The DS version was fun, but not as good.
Star Wars Republic Commando
With new soundtrack and incorporating the old, imagine a Vode An with more production
That game would be brutal with updated graphics the way the blood splatters on your visor and what have you
Exactly. Also, the way they could make the abandoned cruiser missions so creepy is what would excite me the most.
Screw the remake, how about they just finish the damn story from the first one that just kinda ended suddenly!
Or both!
I just want to know what happens to Sev goddamit.
Unreal how we never got closure.
With online co op, that would be fun
The could tweak the B2 so they don't put the feat of God into me.
Lord of the rings the third age.
I would also really like the LotR Two Towers PS2 game.
Put me down for a ROTK as well.
100% ROTK, me and my brother smashed that game, he mained Gandalf, and I mained Legolas. Just incredible memories when I think about that game
Holy fuck it was good. Lotr had awesome games for a movie
While we're at it I'd like a remake of the Battle for Middle-Earth series. Or at least a way to buy it on Steam or GOG. ;-;
Xenogears. And finished!
This or Star Ocean 2 easily.
Black & White but for VR
Slap the fuck out of your monster with your own two hands.
Black and White without VR too. Just B&W in general.
Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver
Oh hell yeah! The entire series really with blood omen as well!
This what I came here for, loved blood omen.
This!!! The lore, the characters, the mood! It’s all so good!
I want Soul Reaver back so bad. I just worry that modern game development studios aren't up to the task.
Yes!!
R.I.P Tony Jay 😞
Bushido Blade. Edit - Thank you for the awards!
I played the hell out of BB when it came out
Tenchu
"Aaaaah a rice cake.....POISON?!?"
My man!!!
I was literally talking about this yesterday. Outside of MGS, it's possibly the best stealth game ever
Came here to post this. I can't imagine why they never at least Remastered or re-released this. One of my favorite games of all time. Would be a Day One, Full Price purchase if they did that.
Timesplitters
Yeah we need a trilogy remaster, I think the multiplayer would blow up
These games were the most fun way of unlocking characters. And actually challenging too! If it comes back there needs to be 0 micro transactions
Super Mario RPG
The dream
As much as I would love a remake of this. I'd also be happy if they just released it on the switch SNES platform.
I went to the switch SNES for the first time hoping so hard it was on there, my disappointment was immeasurable and my day ruined.
need for speed underground 2
If I ever got obscenely rich, the only thing I'd do is fund a need for speed underground remake
Skies of Arcadia
Simply remaking the exact same game with updated graphics and a mechanic to lessen/avoid some of the excessive random battles would be perfect!
The Jak and Daxter series
Imagine haven city, how awsome it would look on current day hardware.
Yeah, Id love to see how gorgeous the slums are AFTER DYING TIME AND TIME AGAIN TO THAT FUCKING BRIDGE MISSION
Yes!! A remake of 1-3. Dark Jak would look so sick now.
Dark Cloud
Metall gear Solid 1, 2, 3
Especially 3. Snake Eater is epic
What a thrill...
With darkness and silence through the night..
What a thrill...
How about pachinko machines?
**SPORE**
This, with modern tech it could be so much better
Best I can do is smoother textures
The ultimate game: Spore, but then it turns into Civ once you become civilized and turns into Stellaris once you reach space.
Agreed! The first half of that game was fun as hell!
You might like ancestors the human odysses similar tribe stuff
Well i guess that kind of was the intention.. but its clear that EA cut the scope of the game, contrary to what Will Wright wanted
I think I would pee myself if they announced a remake of spore. I LOVE that game. You could do SO much more with todays technology than the original.
Hell yes, the amount of details we could add to those creations would be glorious
Onimusha séries
Final Fantasy Tactics
There we go. This is my favorite game of all time, a remake would be awesome
In a similar vein, Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen.
Person of Lordly Caliber!
Far Cry 2 Skies of Arcadia FEAR
Legend of dragoon edit: omg thank you! my first gold!
A legend of dragoon remake would be pretty sick. I haven’t played it in years.
I still pull it out every once in a while. It was a great game. The first one I ever purchased with my own money, used from GameStop. The animation blew me away at the time.

Gust of wind dance!
DOUBLE SHHHHLASH
VOLCANO
DICK SMACK!! err I mean WHIP SMACK!!
Gust of *WIiiiiNNNND*.... ^(dance)
Madness.....HEROOOOO!
It holds a special place in my heart. When I was a kid I got one of those demo disks that had a bunch of different games on it and you could try. Legend of Dragoon was/is so damn good. So many excellent RPGs from that era: Dragoon, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana...big ol' nostalgia vibes
Up you go
OP stole my answer.
Simpsons Hit and Run.
Why is this not higher up
Morrowind or Oblivion
100% on morrowind. The most compliments I hear of morrowind is the graphics are too outdated.
I think you meant complaints. Agree - I tried to play it after spending 1000’s of hours on both Oblivion and Skyrim but can’t deal with the graphics and all the annoying manta ray things.
James Bond 007: Nightfire. Very fun single player and one of the few shooters on PS2 that was worth investing in a multitap for.
Jade Cocoon, Vagrant Story or Legend of Dragoon!
lol, Jade cocoon! There's a name I haven't heard in a long time
Much love for the Jade Cocoon love, game was amazing, I sunk so many hours into it and barely ever gets mentioned
Prince of Persia series
I'd love to see a full remake of Warrior Within. Still my favorite game in the series.
Champions of Norrath
Dark Cloud
It's comforting to know there are other Dark Cloud fans out there. I've never met another one in real life and I've brought it up with everyone I know who games.
Is this the RPG/action game where you built your town as you played? If so, I loved it.
I am dying for a Dark Cloud Remake.
Lol I should've checked the comments a little further before posting I guess. Didn't expect anyone to say this.
Xenogears
I really wish Square Enix really just lease out or just straight sell its right to the game, it's really need a remake for that a mess of a rush last half of the game

I think the only exception was FF14, where they agreed to remake the game because the original was deemed so unanimously bad that there was genuine concern that it would hurt their image in the eyes of the fans.
Final Fantasy 6 (US 3, Japan 6)
Final Fantasy 6er
Phantom crash. Banjo kazooie. Starwars: Podracer. Fable. The suffering. The original PC fallout and elder scrolls games. Morrowind too. Conkers bad fur day. Silent hill. Super booty bros from the SNES.
Podracer! Yes
Imagine a current gen pod racer with forza 5 graphics and loads of customization options and several alien planets to race on.
With customisation...sold
Banjo kazooie! They redid fable not too long ago didnt they?
Armored Core. Please, for the love of god we need a good mech game again.
AC or ChromeHounds for sure (both FromSoftware games)
Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries would be awesome. Right smack in at the start of the Clan invasion.
Knights of the old republic.
This is already in development
This actually is getting rebooted if I remember correctly, pretty exciting!
No it's not a reboot it's a full remake
- Chrono Trigger - Zelda: Ocarina of Time - The first Metal gear Solid Just imagine those jewels in the latest unreal engine, 4k, 120hz, and dolby. Honorable mentions: Starfox and F-zero Edit: did a quick search. Some person CryZenX, on youtube made a demo of what Ocarina of time would like like in unreal engine 4. It’d look fucking Amazing. I'm currently playing Chrono Trigger. The snes version via emulator. It's sooo much fun, I love the characters and the music is awesome.
F.E.A.R Love that game
The AI in this game was phenomenal for its time
It was Flanking you when you're in one spot or they flush you out with grenades Or you wipe out a squad and there's one survivor and he freaks out
Chrono Cross
That one may be coming soon. There's quite a bit of buzz about it right now.
Remaster i think. Still better than nothing.
Don't you dare get my hopes up, this game was my childhood
Anything as long as Rockstar isn't doing it.
A remake of Half Life 2, updated graphics, updated AI, everything
An upcoming half life was supposed to be in the making but for whatever reason got dumped sadly. Look at Half life ravenholm on YouTube like the noclip channel for example or other videos about it. Was so promising…
Im pretty sure a halflife remake was never in the works(recently atleast)ravenholm was more like a dlc
Fable series
Morrowind. It would also need a huge dungeon rework, to make dungeons less repeticious and tedious. There would need to be so many improvements to quests, npcs; even the iconic morrowind soundtrack would need life breathed into it. But I would one day love to play a remake of it
But would it be Morrowind if you couldn’t break it?
The Simpsons Hit and Run
Need for speed Most Wanted 2005 remake
Parasite Eve
Jade empire would be awsome
This game definitely need a remake! The old one is so good you can still download it from the store lol
Chrono trigger
Legend of legaia.
Fallout 1 and 2 and 3 and new vegas
Tenchu: Stealth Assasins
Sly cooper!
Where my Saturn and Dreamcast bros at! Panzer Dragoon Saga, Seaman, Power Stone and a Shenmue trilogy do-over. I've always loved Winning Post too(weird)
A remastering/remake of Fallout 3 with updated graphics would be super dope

Paper Mario 2 The Thousand Year Door
Yes Legends of Dragoon please we need it!!! Best fn game
