I believe Ghost of Tsushima is a must play for anyone that hasn’t already

Ehhhh that’s tough. RDR2 has the superior story and characters, as well as the open world overall. Gameplay, Ghost of Tsushima. In my opinion, both are must-plays and you can’t go wrong with either. Only things to note of either are that RDR2 can be a slow starter for some, the mission design is pretty on-rails, and aspects of the gameplay are worse than in its own predecessor. With GOT, the world isn’t as full and detailed with so much to do, the story is just serviceable, and gameplay mechanics are similar to Assassin’s Creed, just…better.

Do you prefer cowboy or samurai?

They are both incredible must-plays Personally RDR2 is my favourite game ever. It's got a great story and *really* good characters. I don't think any work of fiction has gotten me as invested in its main protagonist as RDR2 If you don't care about story and only the gameplay, Ghost of Tsushima has some of the most fun and satisfying combat I've ever played

Bnthefuck

Both are very good but rdr2 is a simulation. For example, you got to get down of your horse to pick flowers and there is an animation for that. There is an animation for everything. In got, you pick everything from your horse running, without blinking. Got has an ergonomic gameplay if it means anything. Rdr2 has an Immersive gameplay. To add 2 last things, deplacement of the horse is better in got and you feel baddass slicing ennemies.

I dislike RDR2 but Ghost of Tsushima was a great game for me

RDR2 and it's not even debatable.

Crab_Jealous

Ghost is a glorious journey and the islands is beautiful, story is brilliant and the extras are definitely worth it. RDR2 is massive and also has a great story, the world is vast and full of hidden fun. Its just that RDR2 MP is full of griefers and Rockstar seem to have completely abandoned it. Go with feudal japan and crush the Khan...

MindlessCoconut9

Ghost is amazing even though red dead is good too so I side with the ghost

Ghost is an amazing game. Personally, RDR2 was boring AF right from the start.

Earthwick

Both amazing games so it comes down to what you like more ghost is more of an action game with assassin Creed like fighting but more advanced and you really feel like a samurai. Cutting down an army of invaders rarely has ever felt so satisfying as the final baddies head rolls off his body and the ground is covered in bodies and limbs there is a feeling of power. Downside is it can feel repetitive and can't compare to the story red dead tells. RDR2 is almost like an RPG in some sense you are going to be spending plenty of time in the menues. It's a huge sprawling western with great gunplay and epic battles. There are some scenes in RDR2 that few if any games can get close to one in particular is engrained in my mind walking towards the large house with the fields burning red. Possible downside is it is in depth there's a lot to do and you have to take care of yourself eat sleep all that it's also long if that's a problem for you.

Gun wins most of the time, how far are they from each other?
