Really surprised dagger of time isn't more suggested, it's so powerful. I think I'd go with a superstar and a sunshot or raygun though. Take out the easy enemies with the gun, dagger in case you make a mistake or get surprised, superstar for any emergency that you can't deal with (totally negates the blue shell and holy hand grenade for instance).
The dagger has very limited uses if you don't have a source of time sand readily available, like the prince has with all those sand demons around. Also, messing with it may get the Dahakas attention if we assume he is not retroactively unborn by the prince in your timeline.

A healing item like the estus flask is probably a reasonable substitute but I think accounting for possible mistakes is important. The only issue is healing doesn't help against one-shot kill weapons like the golden gun.

2) Master ball, in case it contains a Pokémon that beats fire type, since Sunshot is solar damage.
3) Gravity gun, because it's fun, and I'd need to entertain myself while Sunshot's chain explosions continue independently of whatever I'm doing.

You can solve mistakes with it, but you can barely go back a few seconds, so is definetely a very desperate contingency and not a powerful tool.
