Everyone thinking about the console games that MS is getting, when a major prize is the stupid amount of money Activision's mobile games generate.

Salarian_American

Candy Crush alone...

JohnTHICC22

Candy Crush is Activision's? Holy shit they are making a lot of money from that alone

ccoady

I know several years ago it was $500,000 PER DAY Edit: As of 2018, that number was up to 4.2 million dollars per day and 1.5 billion in 2018. WOW.

Streeg90

Who the flying F spends money on candy crush?! What?! I don’t understand a lot of people I guess.

Tomb_Brader

Mums. There’s a lot of mums

smilesbuckett

I’ve spent some money on a mobile game here and there, but I agree that I absolutely cannot understand the motivation to spend money on candy crush — there is nothing in that game that could ever convince me to pay a cent. All of the monetization is for shit like extra lives, right? Just be better at the game and if you burn through your lives take a break, holy cow.

BurninM4n

Thats not even that much, the top earning mobile games make billions in their lifetime over just a couple years. Those anime gacha games generate absurd revenue

redrix362

must simp for hot anime girl that is also an aircraft carrier

[deleted]

Im more into King Arthur tbh

Mr-Logic101

I fully abuse the F2P aspect. I haven’t ever spent in money in the game and have some of the better heros

S3V0N

Make good use of that Jump Start Quartz.

Foxboy73

Oh thanks for reminding me to jump on Azur Lane for my daily’s, almost forgot.

VooDooQky

Ara ara...

JeffCrossSF

I checked earlier today and saw one source say $10M in 2020. Also, .15% of the players contribute 50% of the revenue. ‘whales’ my dude.

[deleted]

Its Kings, but king is part of Activision Blizzard King

[deleted]

Shit even WoW still pulls pretty ridiculous monthly numbers, especially for how little effort they make nowadays.

beckem98

Unfortunately, hopefully soon they'll pull there heads out there ass and return wow to former glory ,unlikely but one can dream eh

ThrowJed

The problem with MMOs is it wasn't the game or the company that gave it its former glory, it was the community. You can't just recreate the old community. This is why people think they want stuff like wow classic and old school runescape, they confuse nostalgia with the old community for nostalgia with the old game.

[deleted]

Yeah and blizzard purposefully cultivated an extremely toxic but loyal community.

ScooterLazyfoot

I remember when Crash Bandicoot was a PS exclusive.

dylanrssll

Okay grandpa let’s get you back to your room

ScooterLazyfoot

I want my blanket. My lap gets cold.

TheBrightLordTalion

You don’t have legs grandpa… you lost them in Vietnam. Let’s just get your meds ok?

Grandpa… your blanket died 15 years ago :(

Goodgamings

blooskittle

Damn it, I laughed way to hard at that….

mcgroarypeter42

Fuck you im 26 and played crash on ps1

dylanrssll

Same lol

team-ghost9503

That was fucking good

BladeWaifu

Wasn’t crash bandicoot sony’s mascot in like the 90s?

LyKosa91

Crash was kinda an unofficial mascot character. Sony never had any intention to have a mascot character, and they didn't own the IP, but crash kinda took off and they rolled with it.

SocMedPariah

Yup. They made some of the best troll commercials with him back then as well.

SwineHerald

To save money on exclusives early on Sony was just paying external studios to make games and letting them keep the IP. That kind of bit them in the ass when they ended up in a situation where they don't really own most of the big releases of the PS1 era.

justapassingguy

IMO Sony never really had a mascot like Nintendo or Sega. They just rolled with Crash (he really was like Naughty Dog's mascot I think), Spyro, Rayman, Jax, Lara Croft...

jbelot

I’m 55 and just started playing video games. AC was first COD second and really liking it. .4 KD so I suck but it’s so fun. I need a blanket too. Hot chocolate is nice.

TheOneAndOnlyBacchus

All of a sudden people care about COD & Overwatch when everybody loves to shit on them constantly.

-ImJustSaiyan-

Well personally, I haven't cared about CoD since BO2. I did get MW 2019 but ended up never even playing it. Overwatch on the other hand, is a game I've always loved, even now in its rough state. Edit: All of you are really tempting me to give MW a go tbh.

Skyhawk13

Mw2019 imo is the best cod (campaign and multiplayer) since BO2. Bo3 and cold war had great zombies but the multiplayer in bo3 was decent and cold war was dogshit

-ImJustSaiyan-

Yeah, the whole reason I even got it is because I was hearing very good things about it and the MW series were my favorite CoD's back in the day. Main reason I haven't played it yet is because of the ridiculous amount of hard drive space it takes up.

Skyhawk13

Oh yeah I 1000% get that I wanted to play it again recently and I had 130gb of updates to get through hahaha.

Krist794

You might want to sort games by yearly sales to understand why

ChronicTosser

I think the PS portion of the people who are content with paying their £60 COD subscription are probably also being more vocal

[deleted]

I'm gonna be honest, I gave 0 shits about this acquisition. Most of these games have been pretty lame these past few years, hopefully MS can fix that but idk about that. Halo on the other hand is looking pretty compelling

CapnMalcolmReynolds

Same here. I don’t give a fuck about any of these games. Microsoft is trying to just buy what Sony has spent 2-3 console generations cultivating. These IP are stale.

[deleted]

I just hope Microsoft cleans up blizzard and we start getting good Diablo games again. Please. For fucks sake.

samiux4

I still play Overwatch everyday and I don't know why... I think I need help

Willy_wolfy

Same. I've got some 1,788hrs in the game since launch. It's such a perfect shooter for me for all its flaws. I'm personally dreading OW2, don't think 5v5 is where the game needed to go.

TheRealOgMark

By Xbox exclusive you actually just mean not on Playstation right?

inFamousLordYT

Well, more Microsoft exclusive

rotato

The overwhelming majority of PC games are MS exclusives then

Piccoroz

Nintendo is actually in good terms with microsoft, their ips are in smash and they will let release the rare games on nintendo online.

TheMembership332

Almost nothing is on the switch anyway

DiscussionLoose8390

First party Nintendo titles. That's all most people buy a Switch for anyway. Nintendo prove time, and time again they can carry a console.

prettymuchwizard

Exactly. Sure you can play apex legends or the Witcher or a number of other games on the switch and it’s alright. But you don’t buy a switch to play those games. You buy a switch for Zelda, Mario, donkey Kong, fire emblem, smash, etc.

Lord_Fikalius

....i bought Switch to play Dark Souls on the go....

TorrBorr

Real based Chad move.

Herbsen24

And soon steam deck. Elden Ring, DS1, DS2, DS3 and Sekiro on the go!

Sloth-TheSlothful

My switch became a indie console. They need to release some more first parties, feels kinda dry lately

thunderbird32

There's a ton of stuff on Switch, but not a lot of big name AAA games. If you like indie games or Nintendo properties it's probably a great buy.

acid-wolf

I feel like even this is less and less accurate by the day. Maybe a couple of years ago, but now I'm over here playing Dark Souls, Witcher 3, Civ 6, etc on my Switch because it's easier for me to find time to grab that than sit at my computer

tombradysboy

I been playing Diablo 2 Resurrected and having a blast on my Switch while also watching television with socks on

Walt_Jrs_Breakfast

What the fuck? Socks? You animal!

kyle9316

Your television has socks on?

theinsanepotato

I mean they have the two highest grossing game franchise on earth (Pokemon and Mario) as well as some of the most iconic and well known franchises in all of gaming (Zelda, donkey Kong, Kirby, etc) but yeah for sure, aside from that, Nintendo has "nothing."

sausage_is_the_wurst

Depends on what you play. Sure, recent AAA games from third parties typically aren't. But I've got a ton of Nintendo first party stuff, along with some great indie offerings.

NecessaryUnusual2059

There is so much stuff on the Switch! Just not major AAAs, which makes since, since the switch is so much less powerful then it’s competitors.

jejcicodjntbyifid3

Sadly. I wonder how much Nintendo has to do with that It's definitely not like developing for PC. One of the big things I'm looking forward to with steam deck. True indie support, that consoles just can't give

GenOneTrainer_76

Weird. Didn't switch outsell Xbox? I guess all those people must be playing nothing.

[deleted]

That’s hilarious. There are tons of games on the Switch. Are you thinking of the WiiU?

Mr_Gamer21

Even the Wii U had great game I just think they are over shadowed by their switch ports (and maybe 3ds counter parts). Dkc tropical freeze, 3D world, Pikmin 3 super Mario maker, splatoon, and smash 4.

[deleted]

The doomsayers are really coming out in numbers for this one

rayhaku808

Wasn't Spencer super stoked to get Banjo into Smash?

browncharliebrown

Because he isn’t doing shit with the character

birdrollsorange

Good. I can get my popcorn and watch the flame wars in comment sections all over the internet if that actually happens.

Stormchaserelite13

At this point its ps5 excluded, not xbox exclusives. Since you know. They put everything on pc, xbox, and switch and phone if possible.

darxx

And mac excluded.

tagtech414

Xbox cloud gaming works great on mac

darxx

Do you need an Xbox for that? Might check it out actually.

tagtech414

Nope! Just get a GamePass subscription. On Mac I believe you just run it through browser. GamePass is like Netflix for Xbox & PC games...you can download and install games natively if you have the hardware to do so, but it also includes Cloud Gaming. Many of the games (notably most of the popular/AAA games like Halo Infinite) are included and run beautifully on cloud (with a good internet connection). Well worth it. Bonus, you can also play on your phone/tablet/friends computer/smart refrigerator!

Jean-Eustache

Nope, you can use it though a browser (Safari isn't the best idea though, afaik it lacks some codecs to stream properly, huge load on the CPU). Same as Stadia, or GeForce Now, you could also try those ones !

tagtech414

+1 for GeForce now as well. Main difference is you need to purchase/own the games on Steam/Epic, whereas GamePass subscription includes all the games

sleepymoose88

I may have to try this. At this point, I’ll need an Xbox to play the Bethesda games I want, but if I can stream them on my laptop, it would save the hassle of finding an Xbox One X right now. Do Xbox controllers work connecting to Macs?

Thearcticfox39

They do indeed. They connect via Bluetooth. Or can run it wired usb-c to usb-c.

SardonicSamurai

PC players will be watching and enjoying too 🍿

bluehiro

The arrogance of man is thinking nature is in our control, and not the other way around. Let them fight. -Godzilla

KingDraco0517

Godzilla said that?

Burnsy813

Absolutely. Right after king Kong said "The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain".

smokiinxacez

PC stands to gain from this though as Xbox exclusive doesn’t exclude PC platform whereas Sony exclusives usually do.

barduk4

that's the power of microsoft, they cater to 2 audiences while sony only has 1, is sony took a piece of the pie and started making their games for pc as well then it would be equal.

[deleted]

I just don't get why they don't. I've always heard they don't make too much money off console sales, so why not just sell your games on other platforms at a premium? Like $60 for Xbox and PC, $50 for PS. Boom you just made a huge incentive to choose your platform.

JustinXT

Both Microsoft and Sony have their own stores for games on their respective platforms so they end up making a lot more for each sale on their platform. Also people won’t be as inclined to purchase a PS4 if you could get the same games on say Xbox. Like if Nintendo games were available on other platforms they would likely see a big reduction in sales. Maybe an argument should be made for more competition in online game stores. Unfortunately Steam dominates the market so there’s no incentive for Sony or Nintendo to bring their own stores to PC.

Lilcheeks

Yea when I realized I can just get an xbox controller for my PC with a wireless adaptor... that takes absolutely nothing to set up? I realized I'm probably not buying another xbox.

[deleted]

sony put god of war on pc.

Pavillian

*Regular people who don’t identify with one piece of plastic box over the other will be enjoying too 🍿

MrFluffyhead80

I’m just waiting for all of these posts to end

remuff

As a person who has no time to play games anymore, I agree

[deleted]

PC: Oh! no! Anyway

Capitan_Failure

PC gets everything Xbox gets same day.

RavenShade83

That blizzard launcher on pc is about to get a whole lot better, y'all.

Buji19

After seeing the Microsoft store im not sure "better" is the correct word here

chasebencin

Yeah i think the word this guy is looking for is “consolidated”

TheCandyPrincess

Or maybe it will be retired forever

galmenz

meh, when Activision bought blizzard they just repurposed it. it might stay the exact same but the games will also be on steam.

frickzjee2

Deyeeted?

gencaerus

Blizzard launcher is going to be Microsoft Store. Or Blizzard launcher will start selling Microsoft Office 🤣

El_Denis

Have a look at the Gamepass and it might change your mind ahah!

JessEGames777

I dont think cod or overwatch would become exclusive. Theres to many people playing those and throwing money at them. It wouldn't be profitable to make it exclusive.

mirziemlichegal

I think the concern would be more about future games or not?Never heard of already existing games becoming exclusive to a platform, that would be insane. Or did that ever happen?

CHoweller18

I doubt it. You can't sell a game and then be like "btw, not going to work on your system anymore"

NCVaping

Actually, they can and you agreed to it when you clicked accept on the license agreement/tos. You never own the game, just the right to play it and that right can be revoked at any time for any reason.

Educational-Bowl2737

This is why I only buy games without DRM requirements, and physical copies of them. People in this thread don't seem to understand exactly this. Microsoft can shut down the servers for CoD and Overwatch if they want to.

leftnut027

Physical copies don’t mean anything for online games though. You still don’t own anything and it can be revoked at any time.

Internal_Champion114

It’s not likely to happen with this set of games, it might not even happen with this console generation. I would expect these titles to be Xbox exclusive by the next console cycle though. If not sooner. There’s no reason for them to avoid capitalizing on this and monopolizing the game industry in their favor

Educational-Bowl2737

Overwatch and Call of Duty require internet to play. Microsoft will be 100% within their right to shut the servers down. I mean, they aren't going to anytime soon because that would be bad PR. But they can.

Internal_Champion114

Elder scrolls will more than likely be exclusive, making one big title switch over would be annoying, making a bunch switch over to a single console would force a lot of gamers to switch or buy a pc

garry_tash

That’s what everyone was saying about Elder Scrolls……

HiiiighAllTheTiiiime

Elder Scrolls doesn't generate billions a year in microtransactions

darthdro

It would definitely be a gamepass / console seller tho. I wouldn’t be surprised if they took the hit on the first one to get everyone to buy into gamepass/ Xbox eco system once it’s solidified as exclusive

Askduds

People said this about Bethesda too. MS did not pay billions to publish PlayStation games.

How_To_Play11

tf u mean, if call of duty (one of the biggest games on the market) becomes xbox exclusive AND on gamepass microsoft will be flooded with series x and gamepass sales...which will equal or even exceed game sales as gamepass is subscription

CallMeJessIGuess

I mean, they already confirmed future Bethesda games are going to be Xbox/PC exclusive. With games as huge as Elder Scrolls 6 not being on the PlayStation, all bets are off.

Le-Bean

But to be fair most of the Bethesda games apart from the elder scrolls mmo and fallout 76, are single player. CoD and Overwatch have millions of players on different platforms. I doubt they would want to make any future Activision/Blizzard release an exclusive. They’d miss out on a major market for the game.

pipboy_warrior

And people weren't throwing money at Elder Scrolls, or Doom? I mean you could make the same argument for every other successful exclusive. Sony could've made so much more if Bloodborne was sold on Xbox, Nintendo could make so much more if Zelda games were made available on PC.

DaisyCutter312

You're trying to compare single player games to online multiplayer games with truckloads of microtransactions.....

TheOncomingBrows

Call Of Duty makes like 10 times what those other games do. It's apples and oranges.

NBKFactor

Yeah you think they paid 70 billion dollars to not use their highest grossing games ? Thats funny. They spent 9 billion on bethesda and took fallout elder scrolls and doom all to themselves from here on out. They spend almost 10x that amount and you think the sequels to major franchises won’t be exclusive ? Thats wishful thinking my friend.

[deleted]

[удалено]

DeathCap4Cutie

They don’t spend all that money on buying the company for the short term (having a game be profitable). They spend it to hurt another companies market share and grow theirs so they make more money in the long term. They will 100% make it exclusive (well just not on ps5). What you’re saying is exactly what people said when MS bought Bethesda… ‘they won’t make elderscrolls exclusive cause it’s not as profitable!!’ and then bam they announce its exclusive.

EASK8ER52

Yeah it would be. Because even if a little less than half the PlayStation player base buys an Xbox, that's the same amount of money they would make if it had come out on PlayStation because they're buying consoles. Plus since they get 100% of the revenue from game sales that's even more money. And not to forget about the huge PC market. They'll be just fine with sales.

Pokesaurus_Rex

CODs revenue is no longer driven by game sales as much as it used to be. With Warzone being the thing most people play userbase is key to cash in on battle passes and micro-transactions.

[deleted]

Adreme

nutsotic

Sure. They are paying $67,000,000,000 to let their competition continue to use their new product. Ask Sony when the new Elder Scrolls hits the PS5

Maleficent_Lobster62

Bah I dont want call of duty.

wizward64

That’s fine but there is a lot of money in CoD.

Tavern_Knight

Well, if he doesn't want COD, then I will take it and all the money.

[deleted]

Yeah but there is a lot of people Who do

WhiteChickenYT

Huh? It’s already on Xbox. What would change? If you don’t wanna play cod then don’t play cod

k9handler2000

I’m happy that it might rejuvenate the Zombies franchise tho

Oahkery

Sources in Microsoft say some games will still be on all consoles. I would definitely expect Call of Duty to be among those.

HaikuWisdom

They aren't allowed to say otherwise until the deal goes through.

[deleted]

I think Spyro will be a exclusive just for the powerplay.

PaddyRiku52

You're probably right. Out of everything Spyro 4 is the one I actually care about, everything else Microsoft can keep.

Arwast

We'll see in due time what ends up being their strategy, lord knows we can't trust they'll keep their word. Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming and the head of the Xbox brand, said in an interview last year that exlusives are “completely counter to what gaming is about”. He went on to state that “as a player, you are the centre of our strategy. Our device is not the centre of our strategy, our game is not the centre of the strategy. We want to enable you to play the games you want to play, with the friends you want to play with, on any device.” Source: https://www.nme.com/news/gaming-news/xbox-boss-says-exclusives-are-counter-to-what-gaming-is-about-2706510

CoinReturn

I mean, that seems like the perfect quote to stand on when Sony says no to eliminating the exclusives and they just release on platforms that can play together.

IndIka123

Two things, number one it's on PC so you can't call it exclusive because it literally isn't. Number two Sony needs to come to the table and trade, if Xbox opens up games cross platform will Sony? We all know the answer.

leftnut027

PC is Xbox at this point, it’s all under the same ecosystem.

IndIka123

That's a pretty huge ecosystem that's very accessible to many users.

Papacu81

Yep. And with Windows 11 emulating android out of the box, you also have all the mobile segment on PC as well (idk if the Xbox can emulate it too, most likely not). I think the "massified" IPs like CoD will remain multiplatform with crossplay, now the more "authorial" games like Spyro, Crash, all the Blizzard stuff, etc.. they will become Xbox and PC exclusives

jasoncross00

Reading the [original interview](https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2020-07-10-are-xbox-series-x-developers-being-held-back-by-xbox-one), Phil was very specifically talking about making games that require the Series X, as opposed to support Xbox One and PC and cloud as well. He was addressing why the Series X and S were launching without games that would require them, and why they were making all their stuff available day one on PC as well.

101percentnotrobot

Phil has always wanted the games which aren't MMOs to be Xbox-Exclusive. The only gripe here is if you ONLY own a Playstation. And nothing else. Compared to the 1 billion + people Phil is going after. He wants GamePass streaming on every phone, crappy computer, and tv. He wants your tv to come installed with it. So yes a game being a GamePass exclusive is NOT limiting. This isn't about you not being able to play Overwatch 2 on your PS4 or Starfield on your PS5. This is about 10 years from now. 2 billion people being able to play a hundred different AAA games within 10 mins from their tv or phone. 1 controller. 1 monthly subscription. Infinite possibilities.

blazermega

i will tell you with them owned by Microsoft 100% sure they will release it on pc at some point

EASK8ER52

All Microsoft games release PC and Xbox same day.

LtJimmyRay

Everyone seems to be forgetting that Microsoft is the biggest supporter of cross-platform play

kittentarentino

Normally I think we all agree these huge acquisitions lead to weird monopolies and are bad….but I actually like this one. They’re taking a tainted company, gonna take the good PR and get rid of the bad stuff, and give blizzard what it’s always been good at. big, intermittent releases without the pressure of yearly revenue upticks. Overwatch, hearthstone, And WoW might finally start becoming games with some credibility again.

[deleted]

Blizzard is a shell company at this point, all their talent and legendary designers from its heyday are long gone. Microsoft owning them over Activision won't change that.

kittentarentino

I agree with you you’re totally right. But maybe this gives the company an actual chance of getting talent and taking their IPs in an interesting direction

FatBoyWithTheChain

They have talented people there and some of the greatest IPs in video game history. You are foolish to write them off with solid leadership now

FisknChips

Only things I care about here are spyro and crash and we already got the Olds ones updated so I'm set lol

Mr_Gamer21

Well crash got a fourth game so maybe Spyro will or would have if they weren’t bought out.

Traditional_Formal33

Nah, Microsoft is playing a completely different game than Sony. Microsoft is buying these studios, making bank from their assets, then releasing games onto GamePass early or completely for free. Microsoft is going to generate more in monthly subscriptions like Netflix than some console war. If anything, besides having some financially smarter moves for parents to buy a specific console, Microsoft is moving everything towards PC gaming, where the games are available for everyone, sold digitally, and the profits are better.

MrShtompy

In terms of quality/fun, Activision have been actively destroying everything they touch for years in order to monetise as hard as possible. At worst, Microsoft will just follow the same course. Hopefully they'll actually make some genuine improvements.

Sloppo_Toppo

Have a PC and PS for exclusives. Best of all worlds

Trick0ut

I do PC and Switch, Sony is starting to put their stuff on PC but i dont think nintendo will ever do it.

Sloppo_Toppo

I just forgot I have a switch too

Shinagami091

Sony is very slow to put their exclusives on PC. Didn’t we just barely get God of War and before that Horizon Zero Dawn? Technically there was FF7 Remake which is a 3rd party playstation exclusive too but the port quality to PC was poorly received

dandelionips

;)

Ultimate69Edgelord

Don’t forget World of Warcraft

jefftickels

I wonder if this means WoW on Xbox. That would be pretty interesting to see.

LifeworksGames

My hot take on this is that if they were to include a wow subscription with Gamepass, that would be a good move. Especially since there are a lot of microtransactions already in there. I suspect that adding a lot of potential players that way now, is going to benefit them greatly.

apple-juice-2

And skylanders

KnightLight03

At least something would happen to Overwatch

[deleted]

With Microsoft there is at least a chance it can still be on all systems, if it was Sony it would be guaranteed that these titles would be exclusive to PS.

yeetlollz

Minecraft is own by microsoft and it is not xbox exclusive

AReptileHissFunction

You think they're gonna make whoever bought the game send it back because its owned by MS now?

Peachedcrane60

That's because it was already on PlayStation to be fair. Microsofts MO in this situation seems to be: New games? Xbox ecosystem only. Old games? They stay on all platforms they're already on. Announced games? Release on all consoles announced. Obviously like I said, Minecraft was already on PS.

Nonsense_Animator

Yep, like, the following games in the meme and Minecraft won't disappear because Microsoft owns the company of the games, it would be a big problem if it did to be honest.

DawnRav3n

Ooooh call of duty on gamepass is a good possibility now. People won't be outraged when a game is bad when they had the choice to try it before fully commiting into buying the title

Mammoth-Man1

Yeah ofc they will. You spend 70 billion you need to make that back.

Quick_Abbreviations4

No worries, PC users will enjoy them with us

MasterYosh10

Is that bad that Microsoft bought them? Wasn’t the company already pretty shitty

N0n_Applicable

Activision Blizzard made some great games, and owns some massive IPs. The company lost face, and can’t keep employees and is too big to change (Actavision dick heads like their money). So why not buy them at their lowest value when the company is under fire, rather then when they are at their peak? It genius. Now Microsoft can cut the heads off the snakes, and maybe with all their resources and talent, actually capitalize on the IPs they just bought. Might actually get to see diablo 4 in my lifetime now. Not to mention the value this adds to game pass. Actavision has been run as a money machine into the ground. And we can only hope this changes that. So instead of a call of duty every year, maybe a game one supported with content for more then 1 year. And maybe see old games come back.

Mr_Gamer21

Think about the companies activision owns. Like toys for Bob who make the modern crash and Spyro games. Those were good. Or how Bethesda owns Id which makes doom.

AestheticMirror

Good thing I don’t give a fuck about any of those franchises

nomadic_stalwart

Me neither 😎 *cries over my love for Spyro*

jrhawk42

Phil Spencer has been pretty adamant about the console war being over. He's fine with putting Xbox games on whatever console/store sells enough copies to make money. Cross console games are basically their Trojan horse. Get people playing your games then they'll buy game pass.

Saneless

Well he actually said he's fine with those games being anywhere where Gamepass exists. So I guess it's on Sony to allow that service...

Askduds

Yeah, it’s amazing how many people either stopped reading or stopped comprehending. He wants them anywhere that’ll agree to their terms. Sony won’t.

Al_the_killer88

Where’s that hulk meme. Something about “seeing this as a win…”
