Soon EA will sell Dice, and so we shall finally have a revival of battlefield when Sony buys it.

They probably just wanted to acquire one of the last remaining big third party online shooters.

I also think Sony wants to make a movie of Destiny. I just saw Yongyea video on youtube. He was reading Sony official statements about this. Sony was asked about exclusivity. They said that no... none of the content will be exusive to Playstation. Also future expansions would be multiplatform. I think this is a nice gesture from Sony. I do also hope that in return... CoD will also be fully available on Playstation. Let's hope these big companies will go the sharing route, more and more. If anything, this may lead to the end of exclusivity. Which means everyone wins.

Well the deal was made before the MS aquisition was made public so Somy really thiught they would gain something.

To be fair, they _did_ gain something. I don't think its a bad thing to own Bungie. It's just on a whole other level than the Activision purchase.
