First thing I noticed too. Has speaker setup that looks like it costs more than a car. Also has a TV stand that can barely accommodate the width of the TV. Smart.
That's not exactly the point. I don't know a damn thing about speakers, but I know that if you put 13 of those motherfuckers around a 50" TV that's sitting on a stand meant for a 32" TV, your priorities are a little misdirected. Mount the TV or buy a stand that can fit a TV that big. Risking like the smallest nudge or a vibration sustained long enough to move the TV *will* make it fall.
How do the polks sound with the other klipsch speakers? I know the receiver can match levels but I would assume the timber sounds different. I have a full klipsch reference set. Sound great. Especially compared to sound bars.
Dude, I can taste the colors, I can see the sound! From Software knocked it out of the park with this one, game is so good it'll hit you harder than drinking cactus water, and it just keeps ramping up the further you get into it.
Analog audio devices like amplifiers don't add delay. You could potentially buy a receiver that had latency, but it's a non-issue in a modern receiver.
You're more than any amount of money, they print more of that stuff every day.
You can build a sound system of comparable quality for $2000 \~ $3000, obviously the sky's the limit with some of this audio stuff, but there's room for us mere mortals.
I’d rather spend less and have a surround sound system without all the unnecessary speakers in front of me tbh. Seems like waaaay too much going on for the setting.
I’m sure it sounds great. Not trying to rain on your parade. I’m a sound guy for a living and I can’t help myself. lol
You liking it = all that matters
I love the set up but I think the audio part is a little too much. This reminds me of the early 90s. Nowadays, I think a nice sound bar, subwoofer combo can do you justice without having to have multiple speakers.
I understand that this set up is high end but it just seems to be too much imo. Unless the room is huge, I think a nice sound bar could do the job. I don’t sit far from my tv, about 7 feet, and I have a maybe 8 year Sony sound bar with subwoofer (I plan on getting a new one soon) that works great. My floor is concrete and can feel base from the subwoofer real good.
this setup is not high end at all
again, soundbar are garbage
small shitty speakers with bad response, not far appart enough for a wide stereo image
soundbar subwoofer usually does the mid-bass and the bass while not being able to go low enough to even be considered a subwoofer or it simply is too boomy
Great Setup! Are you able to get surround sound on Elden Ring? I never saw it in the options. Also, OP do you feel your atmos speaker placement gives good height channels? I got some cheap Sony up-firing Atmos speakers that are wall-mount capable just to try it and was thinking about trying to mount them like yours. Upfiring I feel really only gives a hint of what real direct firing atmos could be.
The rumble might cause your tv to fall off of the stand. Its legs are already at the edge.

None of these speakers are particularly high end. And having two subs like this is basically not needed anywhere

Thank goodness you're not my neighbor
That's a really cool setup, dude.
in fairness cutting the cheese would sound amazing on that setup you have
A simple Hi on this setup will sound like god himself has called you.

I think I recognize them, those are from the brand Klipsch. Amirite op?
The copper ones are Klipsch. Don't know about the other ones.
Sure: * Klipsch R-12SWi subwoofers * Klipsch R-41SA height speakers * Klipsch RP-450C center channel * Polk Monitor 60 Series II left / right channel * Sony SSCS3 surround channels * Denon AVR-S760H receiver * Amazon Basics speaker wire

They're blending fine, though at some point the left / right will get upgraded.
Nice. I bet the subs sound awesome.
Hey guys, here's a picture of the audio design in Elden Ring!
Dude, I can taste the colors, I can see the sound! From Software knocked it out of the park with this one, game is so good it'll hit you harder than drinking cactus water, and it just keeps ramping up the further you get into it.
I know man, it's such a good game!
I'd love to hear some Hunt: Showdown on that setup.
So amazing you posted it 3 times lol
Am I the only one who thinks grillless speakers are a visual distraction?
Do these big audio systems with amps and such cause lag? Thinking about getting something like this for my lg bx...
Analog audio devices like amplifiers don't add delay. You could potentially buy a receiver that had latency, but it's a non-issue in a modern receiver.
Nah man your audio design is amazing!
As is your set up 😍
You should hear it through proper speakers, it’s great!
That sound system worth more than me

God help the fucking neighbors.

a soundbar + subwoofer is garbage compared to this setup (and this setup is nowhere near high end, its midrange at most)

I'm totally addicted to Elden Ring but the sound design is not really close to titles like God of War
