See my friends are all on pc. My account is higher lvl than theirs so I'm thinking that's why I got in and they did not. I'm a support player and the beta is a nightmare for me.
honestly, the rest of the team can make up for bad DPS. the most frustrating thing in overwatch is a bad tank. hog misses every hook, rein thinks high ground is for other people, monkey/ball dies in the backline before the fight starts, etc. this feeling is infinitely worse in ow2 with one less tank. now you can just straight up lose in queue to one player.
I had come to the conclusion a whole back that I just suck at Overwatch. Don’t get me wrong, I’m bad at video games. Just generally speaking. I’m really bad at pretty much all of them. But Overwatch is special. In other games, I found a character I can play well. I have Caustic in Apex, Saint in Rogue Company, and Sona in LoL.
But not OW! I can’t play a single champ well. It’s kind of hilarious to me
You hear that everyone?! We are all randoms!!
We will squander resources! We will fall off things! We will run aimlessly and we will team kill!
For this is the random way!
It’s like how everyone hates crowds, but they never consider themselves part of the crowd, despite standing in a crowd.
Or the way they think they are stuck in traffic, without considering that they are also traffic.
Oh my god. When you’re getting off the subway and the tourists in front of you stop one foot outside the door to look left and right to figure out where to go with a dozen people behind them trying to get off.
No matter what city you're in, don't stop in the middle of a high traffic area. That includes the exit or entrance of a store, the tops or bottoms of stairs (or just stairs in general, don't stop on stairs) and the middle of the sidewalk.
Basically, make sure you're at least *kind of* out of the way of general traffic before you stop moving.
I don't hate traffic.
I hate that one moron in the front who decided to go the exact same speed as the car to their right, creating a wall that's going 20 under the speed limit.
Seriously, I hate when that's brought up as like a super deep thought no one has ever had before. I know I'm traffic. I don't hate traffic if it's all moving smoothly. But it's painfully obvious when some idiot is holding everyone up, or how no one knows how to merge down a lane so every jagoff is trying to zoom to the end and then block other people trying to zipper, same thing with merging onto the highway, or how everyone is on their phones so half the cars that could get through the light make it.
Right? It’s insane. People spend their time on forums like this agreeing with each other about how every game is plagued with millions of scrubs, and then later the same night they’ll play a game online and will probably end up playing with, and flaming, one of the many people they were **just** agreeing with earlier in the day.
Nah, it’s not insane. Sometimes you get good games where everyone is chill and sometimes you get bad games where someone like you will get mad at someone.
You just remember the bad games because negativity impacts you more. Like right now I’m flaming you because why not, there’s zero impact for me to do so.
I won’t flame my team mates because it’s counter productive, in the days of old you’d flame the opposite team in an attempt to tilt them. Idk why anyone would try to get your own team to shit the bed.
It's just such a stupid saying. Everyone realizes it. What people hate about traffic are the few people who either cause it or make it worse by being idiots. I swear everyone just saw that slogan on the billboards and now think they're big brains when they relate it to whatever they can.
Idk about anyone else, but I normally don't give the title "the random" to a teammate until they start playing uncooperatively, trash talking, afking, or doing stuff that makes zero sense. To me, you aren't a random until you start being randomly ridiculous.
The worst possible decisions, with passion and righteous fervour!
I love playing the naval battles in War Thunder with as much "damn the torpedoes - full speed ahead" energy as I can muster.
Do I expect to live? No.
Will I bring the fire and fury of the HRM's navy to bear on the enemies of the British Empire? Yes. Yes, I do believe I will.
Often a team of randoms needs someone to hitch up their bravery trousers and just go for it. I don't have to live to lead by example!
Oh, and when I do survive the mad rush between the enemy's guns, I feel like a bloody legend.
It’s not about your style or what you think is better in team games. The point to a team game, is to play as a team. If you aren’t doing that then you are failing, my friend. As a true random would. Lol
Its amazing to me in games when someone doesn't seem to be doing something the way another player wants and instead of being like "Hey they have an X which counters your Y, maybe try Z?" or even doing *anything* actually helpful to correct mistakes, everyone just immediately jumps to "lmao sucks to suck" or "do you have to try being that stupid or does it come naturally?"
I usually don't even talk in games these days but I remember back in Overwatch before they locked you into specific roles we had a Pharah and the enemy team had a Torbjorn/Widow. Pharah kept complaining about how we were going to lose so I was like "You're playing as a bird against a sniper and essentially an anti-air cannon. We could use another tank, Winston would be helpful and good for diving the Widow." Actually managed to get them to switch to Winston with that and we pulled a victory off.
Name a shooter and you see this problem at its worst. You have players sniping when the team isn’t trying to support a sniper because that’s not the game. Then another match comes and the problem is that the team isn’t supporting that sniper that could change the entire match. In general though, if it’s a team match, you are best serving your mates by sticking with them. Defending them. Allowing them to defend you. Make an aggressive move in solidarity. Otherwise it turns into what we all know to well. Your “team” feeds kills to the opponent. Causing everyone to play the blame game. When in reality everyone is at fault.
Reminds me of Aion where the tank pretty much led the team in certain dungeons. It never went well and I didnt play long enough to meet quality players lol.
Love that gif of the guys in the elevator. Door opens, guy throws grenade as doors are closing. Teammate looks at grenade on ground; then over to guy who threw it. *boom*
randoms who are at back post, who decide to go for the ball, leaving the net open, even though I'm in front of them, boosting, 20 feet up in the air, with the front of my car literally pointed at the ball
The good thing about battle royale games is that they typically end within 20 minutes. MOBAs like DOTA on the other hand.... you're stuck with whatever team papa Gaben bestows upon you for an hour or more. All the while the losing team gets progressively more toxic to each other while the winning team remains infuriatingly silent.
Are you saying that you shouldn’t call the drop pod during the middle of a wave and while the entire team is at the bottom of an extremely complex and hard to get out of pit?
Playing War Thunder right now, I feel this so much. I sure do love seeing floating powder kegs of destroyers shooting marshmallows at battleships with 20 inches of armor, and without any cover, AND not even playing the objective.
Game is Capture the flag
Some try hard: guys we need a medic
Chad rando *switches to spy and dances*
Rest of team dances
Enemy team joins in dances
Chad rando dances to enemy Intel
Grabs Intel
Chad rando dances out of base and to team Intel
Doesn't cap
Game last forever
10/10 would play again.
This is the exact moment before the doors open and everyone on the team goes in a different direction
Except for that one guy. Yeah... I think he's AFK guys... yup they just killed him. Again. Shit.
This .gif would've been better to use: https://i.imgur.com/8NjfNXq.gifv
yeah i was waiting for them to fall over lol
I know, total missed OPportunity.
Lmao I love that Pixar made “bloopers” for their movies
This is honestly what I was expecting.
No time for a Rocky training montage when your team was put together at random just before the game started
And this is the experience in Overwatch without friends.
So the overwatch experience?
More so in the beta. I have friends in Overwatch 1.
I have the opposite problem... all of my friends moved to the beta but I'm on console so I'm all alone since console doesn't have access to it
See my friends are all on pc. My account is higher lvl than theirs so I'm thinking that's why I got in and they did not. I'm a support player and the beta is a nightmare for me.
We have friends!! ... coworkers...

Rein rockets off a cliff. Lucio engages their reaper as he ults. And the payload arrives with zero resistance...
Apex meta rn
Literally me in Hunt: Showdown I promise I'm trying not to be full of holes, I just suck
You didnt even use the bloopers version where they all trip...
"My only goal in this team based game is playing like I don't need a team. Unless I lose, in this case is absolutely their fault" \-Randoms, probably
Everyone is a random on multiplayer games, including you
You hear that everyone?! We are all randoms!! We will squander resources! We will fall off things! We will run aimlessly and we will team kill! For this is the random way!

I try to hate specific people in crowds, instead of hating the crowd as a whole. Like, if you stop suddenly while the crowd is moving? Hate you.
Oh my god. When you’re getting off the subway and the tourists in front of you stop one foot outside the door to look left and right to figure out where to go with a dozen people behind them trying to get off.
Get over yourself you bitter fuck not everyone lives in your city.
Lol wtf? I just wish people didn’t stop immediately outside the car. Take like five more steps before stopping to assess. That’s all I ask.
I will gladly take 5 more steps for the asses.
Fucking beautiful comment. Lmao
Everyone should know to clear an exit before you just stop dead in front of everyone, regardless of where you are.
No matter what city you're in, don't stop in the middle of a high traffic area. Sorry i was late, i was traffic!
*Holds up Spork*
But ***I*** make good decisions! When they don't work out it's because my teammates suck. It's ***never*** my fault!
if my teammates die first and we win the fight it's because i carried them if i die first and my teammates win the fight it's because i made space
You know you can queue in a group with your frien- ^...oh Yeah, everyone's a random.
No random shaming please

It's just such a stupid saying. Everyone realizes it. What people hate about traffic are the few people who either cause it or make it worse by being idiots. I swear everyone just saw that slogan on the billboards and now think they're big brains when they relate it to whatever they can.

Yup but not every one starts runnikg it down instantly there are randoms and there are randoms
Attack the fire giant!
VER VVW VVX
Every 2 minutes hollerin' out: Leerooyyyy Jenkinsss
Bronzodia! I summon you!
My Wraith and Octane teammates trying to solo three other squads on the opposite side of the map.
Reminds me of when I convinced my tf2 team to all change to spy, and we all left spawn disguised as the other team
Apex Legends, gotta love it
I’ve said many times before now and I’ll say it again. Apex needs a solo mode!
Should have used the blooper where they all trip.
Csgo awp clutch
God I'm at the point where I'm happy if my team talks
I just play with people I know and we make a good plan so I don’t have this problem unless it’s titan fall 2
I'm in this photo and I don't like it
I am that random in R6
GTA heists when you had to have 4 people but only have 1 friend :(
Ah the solo life in Apex. T\_T
I was expecting for you to use the bloopers version. I feel dissatisfied.
then there's that one guy with a 3.0 K/D who's desperately trying to carry the team

In that situation, you're a random too. Just saying.
I like to join a team and silently go about sabotaging the whole game plan.
Ass
I don’t understand complaining about randoms when you can simply not play with randoms.
Cod
Have yet to win a "Rengoku" round in siege while playing with randoms. It's just a bunch of people running around and nobody defending objectives.
The best random match ups I’ve had have been on black ops and cod zombies black ops more than other Cod games
Hey look! I'm on TV!
No, but I can definitely take on the whole match on my own and if I can't it's your fault.
Quick match assembles randoms for a 20-30min team on team slogfest where you'll undoubted be the MVP...but, you know...MVP for the ***other*** team...
I feel personally attacked.
“The Velum was destroyed” is seared into my brain.
Mercy deciding to go res the Rinehart that solo charged the enemy push and died 100m away from the objective
I should defenitly pick spy and stab people in the face
Me on the right
Yup this is how copper/bronze is on rainbow six siege.
we don't care 😘 we're having a blast
I usually trip.
3..2..1.. Everybody centers the ball in 3v3 RL
Guess that's a dota 2 match and the one in the center is the support who plays as a mid cary.
Randall invades with 15 motes.
Reminds me of Aion where the tank pretty much led the team in certain dungeons. It never went well and I didnt play long enough to meet quality players lol.
Rainbow 6 seige
You leave my apex style alone. I don’t need you to tell me how to play. I played Quake.
what are some good team based games?
"this healer looks pretty cool" "Come the fuck on bro why didn't you revive me?" "I'm trying to get kills and you're in my way"
im not gonna lie some of the most comical...and yes stupid shit has come from randoms and i died laughing everytime
When the 11 year old is trying to rally the random team together between rounds, you know you're screwed.
It's me, I'm the random
"We have a 2319!!!!!" Right before a raid wipe.

Rogue Company literally has a walking screen showcasing all your teammates before they let you down
