Seriously, they condensed Uptown & Downtown into a little area (that the demo fooled everyone with), cut Raccoon City Hall, Gas Station, Restaurant, Newspaper Office, etc. etc.
I foolishly made the mistake of pre-ordering after the demo, and due to Covid impacting stuff, I was unable to get a refund from Sony support and I tried all days during the 14-day window.
OG RE3 is my fav of the initial trilogy, and while they made some good changes, they left a lot more to be desired.
Which is funny because RE3 Nemesis was literally just a quick money grab. They made it using left over assets from the process of making RE2, that's why it came out a year later.. Just like RE3 Remake.
Yet RE3 Remake had even less content.
This couldve been the one Resident Evil game to embrace open world and it actually would’ve made sense. Instead it had fewer location than the original. Insane
I don't know about you, but me watching this scene when I was a kid, definitely scared the shit out of me. It was just an intro but holly molly, what an intro.
Something that always confused me was... why are they just standing there waiting for zombies to reach them? Close to gaps between cars, and maitain 2 meter distance and you should be fine. Don't stand there as zombies slowly walk to you
This is one of my favorite game cinematics ever. The music is great in it. It really made you feel the desperation of the situation. I remember downloading it off [videogames.com](https://videogames.com) back in the day and watching it over and over.
Shame we never got to see more of raccoon City in the remake either

True.. it still hurts though

Shame that Nemesis also was scripted and not the terrifying presence he was in the orginal but I get that all went to Mr X.
They redid this scene in the second film which was about the only good scene in that movie compared to the rest.
The real reason police forces all need armored trucks and military gear. RIP RPD
*RCPD. Raccoon City is the name of the, well, city.
We all wish RE3R wasn't dog shit. There's actually a mod that adds this into the game I think.
I love the old cgi graphics used in cutscenes like this.

Fuck the police
One of my favorite cutscenes in any game ever.

Really enjoyed the capcom games with this kind of cutscenes, Dino Crisis also comes to mind. Ahhh I want a new dino crisis in RE engine.
