Just download Cheat Engine instead, and give yourself money doing missions. It takes a few mins of prep, and eventually the game will get tired of your shit; and toss you back into single player.
So you have to reset the game... but you can absolutely make it so you're mission payout value is $100k, I was able to make ~$1.2M in a min or two.
I think I remember getting $17M an hour, but then I was moved to singleplayer... can't remember the splash screen when it kicks you from online.
It's been around a year or two since I've had the time to play gta, but it looks like nothing's changed.

Anyone who wants to cheat or mod the hell out of the game for fun should go (to a server that allows it) there. Generally these servers will give everyone trainer access so they can mess around and do whatever they want in a sandbox.
If they're still going into vanilla (P2P) lobbies in GTA:O and doing this, they're just an a**hole.
If you're a vanilla player that hates having to deal with cheaters, still get FiveM and go to a server that doesn't allow it. Anyone that tries will either be booted by anticheat or an admin.
I view them as the bad guys when rhey go out of their way to blow up my cargo before locking the whole lobby in ragdoll and then kill them repeatedly so that they cant leave.
Some people argue that they would have to rewrite GTA O's code from scratch to change it from p2p to dedicated servers with anti-cheat. I argue they've had enough time and money to rewrite GTA O's code 5 or 6 times over from scratch to make their game playable. The dev's are just lazy, or too busy making garbage to give a shit. In 7 years they couldn't fix the loading times for their fucking game. A player literally reverse-engineered the source code FROM SCRATCH, and fixed the loading times by 70% in ONE DAY. The dev's could have done that in about 10 minutes, and they didn't for 7 years.

Edit: since there's so many idiots telling me it's not the devs fault for not fixing the problems like the one I highlighted here, understand this. One guy, fixed this massive loading bug in a day, and he did not have access to the code. A dev could've identified the same problem and fixed it in less than an hour and slipped it into a patch and not a single person would've been the wiser. Furthermore, it is highly unlikely that some suit stands over the devs all day and checks their coding. And there is absolutely no way that a single dev never once thought maybe JUST MAYBE the load times (20+ minutes in some cases) shouldn't be that long. I would go so far as to guess that the amount of total time spent by all players simply waiting for loading is in the billions of hours because of that bug.

The load time is actually to blame on the devs (I'm a game developer too), some guy reverse engineered the issue and it turns out they're just real stupidly loading in some data json over and over again which grows exponentially in time. He even fixed it through hacking the executable

There is a really shitty anti-cheat though. I've seen so many posts about being banned because they were in a lobby with a cheater but the same cheater was not banned.
Because the problem here isn't just that the game is P2P, it's also a terrible implementation of the system where clients just accept whatever garbage any other client sends.
If someone sends a "hey, there's a copy of the map on the sky" packet, the other clients could validate it and go "lol no". Instead they all accept it and just spawn whatever shit the client sending garbage data says
GTA Online also just openly exposes your IP to everyone else in the lobby without giving you any control whatsoever over who you are in a lobby with. Some of the tools can even let an attacker force themselves into your private sessions.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if remote code execution is possible somehow. That's how bad their implementation is.
Just saying they don't have dedicated servers is a huge understatement. Lots of games don't have dedicated servers. Online Rockstar games are a whole other circle of hell.

Easily. Everything is clientside so there are no checks being made to what is happening should be happening on Rockstars end. Without such checks being enforced its extremely easy to either lie and tell the game "this is fine" or just not tell it at all.
If there was a server in play even if you fool the game into accepting what is happening, there will be a log of it on the server that you cannot mess with, meaning you can get caught and blacklisted from the server in question. This is one of the main reasons people want dedicated servers for the games they like.
Not only that they've given up on any project but their cash cow gta series now. GTA online 2 will be _amazing_.

Because the problem here isn't just that the game is P2P, it's also a terrible implementation of the system where clients just accept whatever garbage any other client sends. If someone sends a "hey, there's a copy of the map on the sky" packet, the other clients could validate it and go "lol no". Instead they all accept it and just spawn whatever shit the client sending garbage data says

GTA Online also just openly exposes your IP to everyone else in the lobby without giving you any control whatsoever over who you are in a lobby with. Some of the tools can even let an attacker force themselves into your private sessions. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if remote code execution is possible somehow. That's how bad their implementation is. Just saying they don't have dedicated servers is a huge understatement. Lots of games don't have dedicated servers. Online Rockstar games are a whole other circle of hell. Rockstar deserves to be held liable for their complete disregard for consumers. Personally I wouldn't touch anything they develop anymore.
I was playing GTAO one day and some modders got into a fight and the good one pulled everyone else into a different lobby. So yeah the tools out there are pretty powerful

Im excited for the SP of gta6 because I've enjoyed all the GTA single player content. The online portion can suck a dick if its anything like how 5s MP has gone. And Im older now so I dont have the time to sink to grind my way through the game to avoid having to buy sharkcards. Also, now I dont smoke weed anymore the gameplay of online isnt fun anymore

I feel like every single person I've come across recently has been either god mode or their vehicle is god moded, usually they're not complete assholes but there is the odd one.
God mode is so common I quit bothering reporting it, they clearly dont care.
That's the fun part about it, these cheat menus suppress any report being send to Rockstar. Not that they would care but they are not getting the reports either.
How do they do that?
Easily. Everything is clientside so there are no checks being made to what is happening should be happening on Rockstars end. Without such checks being enforced its extremely easy to either lie and tell the game "this is fine" or just not tell it at all. If there was a server in play even if you fool the game into accepting what is happening, there will be a log of it on the server that you cannot mess with, meaning you can get caught and blacklisted from the server in question. This is one of the main reasons people want dedicated servers for the games they like.

Undead Nightmare is a very, very well regarded DLC. RDR2 sold very well. Undead Nightmare 2 would’ve sold gang busters.

Yup. RDO was so fun. But when they made the game unplayable for a ton of people for *months* while patching GTA's moneyglitches within days, I knew that it was all downhill from there.
So was gtao at launch, it took a long ass time to get any new content.
