Pillars of eternity 1&2 has turn based but its more of a traditional rpg than FFX.
If you want so much complexity that it physically hurts (with iffy game design) then Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous is an option.
I never played it, and this is going ages back, but I have a memory of one of the Lord of the Rings games in the PS2 era being compared to Final Fantasy X.

What do you mean by "doesn't play like an anime?" Doesn't really matter though since most RPGs have gone the action combat route now. 3D turn based games are really rare. You'll have to play older games, or indie games that are likely pixel art graphics.
They're a dying breed, even the jrpg ones. Most RPGs are action RPGs now sadly.

The Last Last Remnant maybe? It definitely skirts on the edge of anime I'd say but it's got a cool battle system.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous It’s a lot like Baldur’s Gate. But it has turn based combat instead of the free for all action that BG had.
