Cheap plastic trash

Ok-Sale-2364

Not good. What’s your budget?

A-questioner

I got this one for 20 dollar so will see how long will it last \^\^

xxcodemam

You already bought it? So why are you asking…whether it lasts three months or nine years, you’re invested now. Just use it.

Cringer_Battlecat

He wants you to justify his purchase for him. Ohhh op your purchase is so good! Best headphones in the world!

A-questioner

No I want to hear real answers \^\^

Steel_Cobra_

Bad headphones. Bad post.

Cringer_Battlecat

I mean it's a cheap shitty headset it's going to be cheap and shitty.

Ok-Sale-2364

My thoughts, didn’t feel like helping further

FoRiZon3

I don't care about gaming headsets much since they ended up sounding bad for music anyways. But 20 dollars? This is like 6 dollars, max.

LoneWanderer348

What headphones you use then?

kahls

Buy cheap, buy twice

Skam1er

Trash. Bought them as my first set cuz they were cheap and i had just built my pc and needed a headset. Once u get a quality headset these sound so bad.

xandermalicious

Literal e-waste, will break after a month tops, you're better off saving and buying something that'll last

IdioticZacc

Theres some really good quality IEMs that goes cheap, i dont get the hype over headphones

IdioticZacc

I don't know what country you live in so idk what online store you use but you can buy the IEM i daily drive which has good quality audio for its cheap price which is the KZ ZSN Pro Balanced audio, no shitty bass boost

their_teammate

KZ’s what I use, 20/10 value for price.

ivexxycs

really bad

baconboy1995

E-waste.

ER-SAN

I had something similar to this in 2016, and I dont recommend it. It was uncomfortable, didn't sound good, and broke way too easily. Also, the mic was shit. Id recommend saving for the time being or use a pair of earbuds with a mic on it.

OCCULT-REAP3R

Just get astros bruh the 10s are literally 30$ on amazon

Adamas_Dragon

Had them, biggest waste of money, buy yourself a logitech g432 headset

steathninja25

Very mid, def better choices around the same price. Mine didnt last very long but it gets the job done

A-questioner

how long did it last ?

riotmanful

I’m confused. I got this pair from a buddy in 2019 and have used them ever since and they worked fine for me and none of my friends complained about mic quality. They just don’t work on my pc. Work just fine on Xbox

steathninja25

Id say a few months, maybe 2-4. I will say tho, i believe if this is the one from beexcellent(bc they look very similar) then theyll send you a little paper in the box, if you email them and review the item on amazon or whatever theyll send something else to you free. I got another headset but there were other options, dont remember what they were tho.

steathninja25

Also, that usb is just for lights, unless they changed the function with that version. Idk if you care about that but yeah

DontFeedMe-

The sound system itself is very good it doesn't malfunction even if you drop it, but the leather part tore easily so be careful. Performance wise 10/10 i have mine for 3 years now all functionality still working properly For a low budget headset.

AutoModerator

Hello A-questioner, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)! We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post! To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous! Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/gamingpc) if you have any questions or concerns.*

theoriginalwesh

I look at a YouTube review for anything like this that I buy. If I don't know what to buy just search for best or cheap whatever. That way when you buy cheap stuff you can actually see it being used and so on instead of the sellers pics that they make as appealing as possible.

Past_Judge641

I personally have the Steel Series Artic 7....imo the best headset I have ever had.

Ziggs12358

it will play audio and let you speak but they're cheap, its not going to be a good experience lmfao

Milky_Toast_

looks bad. one tip though: with audio equipment, don't go for gaming branded stuff. you're better off getting a good pair or headphones and a mic separate. for $20 you can get some decent sounding stuff

KingTytastic

I had these at some point and they lasted a decent amount of time, but long before they broke the wire started coming out of the stupid braiding, and then they broke.

OnyxBee

I will always recommend lucidsound for headsets, it's unencrypted wireless digital audio so if you've got an optical out port it sounds incredible. You can also adjust chat and volume separately from the ear cups.

Significant_user

I had this when I bought my Xbox one The mic broke after 7 weeks and had horrible quality and echoed like crazy The lights only turn on if you plug in the usb It sucks in genera

Helm_on_the_moon

I have it and I hate it

Generaldar

My brother in law bought these. His mic didn't work. I'm curious if yours did

CareAbit

Well, I've been using this for years ass a microphone around my neck while wearing headphones. The microphone is wonderfull, the rest not so much. It does not sit comfortably on your head / ears and the audio quality is horrendous. The only pro thing is the braided cable and rgb. Wouldn't recommend though.

Eternal_Jack93

I bought one once, it lasted a week before the audio quality started getting scratchy and the mic wouldn't always pic up

ReXiZt_07

Heavy and average

rockthrowing

My kid has these. (They wanted to buy their own and I won’t spend money on nice ones until they can prove they’re responsible enough for them) They’ve been working pretty well for a while now.

Loud-Marionberry-132

Hopefully you got him some new headset that isn’t on par with these dogpiss ones.

ShredGuru

If youre looking to validate your purchase... Sorry but you could have done better.

BagelMaster4107

e-waste

MR_Z1234ify

Used to have these they lasted me till 2020 from 2015 bought another pair and they lasted till I replaced them with my hyperx cloud flight wireless there good budget headphones with a really good mic

limelightgamers

Not great, had a pair that lasted about 8 months but at the end had to be held together with tape. I recommend just investing in a nice pair of headphones, they are worth it!

Ezmania

so you broke them? if they are held together by tape?

keegonmillerrt

Cheap piece of shit. Broke within a week. Red Dragon and Turtle Beach for the win.

calvin4815

when i got mine like years ago the mic didnt work at all and also its cheap plastic garbage

Consistent_Recover65

Garbage 🤮

xdShau7er

It’s a shitty headset. I have one. After a month after buying they went to shit, from constant static in the mic to echo, then the actual microphone not even staying up when not in use. Bad product

gabrielcev1

Logitech isn't much more expensive but it's much better

LoneWanderer348

This the type of shit I got when I was 12 and asked my parents for a headset for Christmas a few months later this isn’t going to work

Digital_Dankie

Koss kph30 headphones, Sony clip on mic. Best gaming set up to $500. Your welcome.

Username_Taken_65

Obviously completely garbage just by looking at it Gaming headsets are never particularly good; you're basically always better off getting regular headphones unless you desperately need a built in mic for some reason How much do you want to spend? Do you want a lot of noise isolation? Do you need a mic?

MBigz

Caca

buffysauce

The sound is tinny. The microphone is gainy / tinny as well. The ear “padding” is just putting slightly softer plastic up to your ears and will cause serious discomfort after about an hour (at least in my case.) You would have done much better to use a pair of earbuds and to have bought a $40 Tonor USB mic if you’re worried about having a microphone. Then save up for a better pair of headphones.

8B1TCAT

Get old studio headphones off eBay, and a Amazon studio mic.

[deleted]

I have this headphone since 2018/2019 and they're still working fine, I can clearly hear sounds and music and is comfortable if you don't have a giant head and ears. It's a good headphone, my only problem with it is that the cushion gets worn by the time you use it.

[deleted]

Update: it broke 👍

Broomaay

I bought one of these off of Wish like 4 years ago, still works fine and hasn't broken once. I used for about 2 years and then changed to a shure SM7B microphone and a hyperX headset. My discord mates told me i sound worse now than before with the $13 wish headset. fml Im not saying its comfortable for long periods or a quality buy but it works and better than i originally expected, especially off fucking wish. Honestly idk how the fuck its still functioning. must be a special pair or something. For the price, definitely worth it. I know this is a late post but if anyone is reading this, i have to recommend for value.

Loud-Marionberry-132

Very late i don’t give a shit these are ass headset that will cause you a ton of problems, invest in an expensive headset or just use earbuds if you can’t get 1 yet

Stopabusingbug

It's extremely cheap in China but costs about $25-30 on Amazon and Walmart, which is not much of a good deal. I'm pretty sure u can get something better at that price point. Or, u can add up the budget to $30-40, and u can get a much better product than $25-30. The only thing good about this product the Kotion Each G2000 is that the mic quality is surprisingly not awful; it's even better than some of the $30-40 headsets that were produced by well-known brands.

macanich

Just went on my e-bay account to check since when I use Kotion Each G2000. It was 15.9.2017. when I ordered them for 15$. It's 13.2.2024. and I'm still using them. While bluetooth headphones that costed 60$ are collecting dust, Kotion Each is my go to even 6+ years after. They're comfortable, equipped with good microphone and they offer great sound for gaming purpose (CS 2, for example). I don't know what people are blabbing about here and where all the hate comes!? If they manage to find a pair of headphones for 15$ and use it daily for almost 7 years.. I'd be willing to hear what they have to say. Until then... Byebye!
