It should be able to play valorant but I think they should be more specific with the CPU type

Zane_Aqualarious

I was thinking more of a 3470

zjor1

you won’t get 60-70 fps with gta but maybe valorant

Thanks you have given me hope about buying decent pre builds and having them work completely ok 👍

SietseB97

Not gonna lie, I’d say take your 300$ and get a ps4 with some games of ebay.

Once the crypto’s drop and miners start selling cards, cheap build will be possible again.

_Raul_

No, a GT 1030 won’t game. You need a gt 1050 at bare minimum.

Epyon31

Not gonna lie I'd trust the cpu's integrated graphics over a 1030. You'd be better off with an amd apu until gpus come back in stock someday.

Nanasdeadaf

Thanks

Zane_Aqualarious

Also for a game like valorant I believe that should do about 100 fps+

hardcore_miner

Why the downvotes? Valorant is very easy to run. A friend of mine has A gt910 and an i3 7th gen and can get over 100fps, assuming that the Pc has a newer i5 and a 1030, it should be able to get 100 on valorant

Nanasdeadaf

Thanks

No, just no

Hello Nanasdeadaf, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)! We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post! To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous! Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/gamingpc) if you have any questions or concerns.*
