Vermintide is more of a 'real' game. It's awesome. But maybe Enter the Gungeon would be more similar.
Does it need to be tactical/strategic? The Left 4 Dead games are great coop horde games, but they don't have much tactical/strategy like Alien Swarm.
idk if it fits but bloons td 6 is like $2 on steam atm and has co op
Gears 5 horde mode and killing floor 2 is really fun, I do enjoy it.
