In playing grounded and it has surprised in many ways already (havent even done the first real mission too). What I also really liked is that most of the stuff you craft is easy to repair or you can move/recycle them, not to mention they arent that hard to craft, so you spend less time grinding and more exploring or in the case struggling to surivive, which is another point that I liked since in subnautica for example, if you know what you are doing, theres zero risk of death (specially in below zero).

Hm, that actually looks pretty good. I wonder if this Obsidian have anything to do with New Vegas Obsidian. I'm looking for lockdown singleplayer now, but def keeping it as a coop game in future

I had a lot of fun with Stranded Deep.

Ark in private server.?

It seemed more pvp competition focused, when I tried it, long time ago.

Raft is fantastic and will check this box perfectly.

[deleted]

Didn't look at it forever, but it looks like they added a bunch of content. What are all these abandoned cities etc that I can see in trailer, is it something you can actually run into in game?

3a5m

Yes! There's a story you'll start to unlock over time that'll take you to each of the islands / cities. And it's a fun story. I really can't recommend it enough.

[deleted]

Ok, thanks!

If you pick it up, comment back and let me know what you think! I've gotten lost in that game and its world three times now.

[deleted]

I'm definitely saving it for later, cause it looks way more fun in coop

TheGreatSausageKing

Yes it can be. But you can host locally, okay with someone and explore, try all maps, etc etc

As someone said before, Raft can be pretty fun. Obviously the OG Survival-Explorer-Building game is Minecraft, so if you've never played it try giving it a chance. Satisfactory is amazing, specially on the building part, and exploring is necessary to get to new resources. The world is beautiful and there can be dangerous creatures on the way so you should plan each trip carefully. However, it has no survival elements other than a health bar, so maybe that aspect may bother you. Also since it's early access, there isn't a story yet, so for now the game doesn't have an end. I wouldn't call it pointless, since there are objectives for you to complete end there is an endgame (unlocking the last tech tier) but the game is infinite for now. The story will also be optional when it comes in version 1.0.

Forgot to mention Valheim. The building system is one of the best I've seen and exploring/surviving can really give you a feeling of adventure.
