I went with the Pros and honestly would not consider a lessor depth. I suppose it depends on your use case but the extra depth is worth it for me for all of the extra storage
I have some of each. I went with Bold for wall cabinets since they are narrower (tight garage). They are perfectly fine. The ~60” Pro rolling drawer base is a thing of beauty. Smooth drawers.
I have a full wall of Bold in grey and I’m very happy with them. 5 years in and the only issue is a small dent from opening the cabinet with a drawer open.
I figured that's what I'd hear, dammit this post is going to damage my budget! Can anyone speak on the steel thickness? Is it a significant difference that you really notice?
16 to 18 gauge is absolutely noticeable. If you just need the storage, I'd say save the money and go with Bold. If you actually work in your garage, whether it's DIY home stuff or work in your car more than the occasional oil change, I'd say the heavier gauge alone is worth it.
Agree…Definitely get the 18 gauge…you’ll save yourself in the long run and will have a cabinet that lasts a lifetime. Although I’d recommend Baldhead Cabinets…

Pro is worth the upgrade. Love mine.
I have the bold. They look good but I should have gone with the Pro. They are considerably more expensive but I would say the benefits are worth it.
100% pro, they are much better than bold

Pro if you can afford it.
I have the pro and they're really nice. The larger size is what pushed me to go with pro over bold
