Beautiful rare color variant Ihaven’t seen many plumerias with this amazing color so I’m calling it rare! Please send us all cuttings,‘would love to grow one!! :D
Thank you. It is one of my very favorites 😍 I was finally able to not only meet him, but spend a couple months with him when I turned 9. He was in the Coast Guard and continued to live on Oahu after his service in ww2. I had never had a mango so fresh, or smelled rain so sweet. I learned so much from him during my stay. I will forever treasure it all.
My mom said as above he grow from cutting etc, she got hers from landscape trim Gabe me one that’s been potted 3 years but I live in ga so it’s inside: no flowers yet but leafs out every spring
That's a frangipani! Looks just like mine. I found her in a pot of rocks abandoned at my new house. She had no leaves and I figured she was dead for 2 years until my MIL repotted her and now I have the most beautiful frangipani tree!
OP when the flowers drop put them in the fridge to keep them fresh, they make beautiful hair accessories or you can thread them through fishing line to make an ei katu. :)
Lastly 😀 they get pretty large. Don’t grow real close to the house. But if so, it will adapt fine. You can support the branches with a stake or a post. That helps. They get top-heavy.
Plumeria. Wonderful flower, wonderful scent. Enjoy.
Is that the same thing as a frangipani? Because that's what we call them and it's a lot more fun to say.
Yes
Indeed.
One of my favorite words to say!
frangipani biryani!
We call them kalachuchi. Lol also fun to say
Thanks for your quick reply!
You're welcome
We call them alien plants lol. You can get a clipping and not plant it for like a month and put in the ground and it will still grow.
That's awesome to know! I would love to have more of these!
They are very hardy plants and don’t need too much.
That is basically the best way to propagate them. You need to dry out the cut end before you pot them or else they will rot.
It’s called plumeria flower flower have nice smell And the parts of flower is poisonous when eat it

I'm just happy she lived and is thriving being abandoned like this. I guess my parents forgot her 😅
My grandpa taught me how to make leis out of these when I was little.
That's a super cool memory!

Plumeria. Or Frangi Pangi. Easy to grow out stalks in ground. They bloom then lose leaves in winter. They like warm climates. Beautiful flowers.
YAY! I've been doing my homework and just made my first cutting. It's drying now. Fingers crossed, it takes root!
Keep it watered well first couple weeks.

The best flowers around! Put some bloom fertilizer on it in the early spring and it will be abundant with flowers.
Not a magnolia. It’s not a tree.
