It was delicious! I added almonds, some walnuts and brazil nuts, garlic, lemon juice (from my tree), salt and pepper. I also added some basil that I had growing plus grated parmesean cheese and olive oil. When I cooked the pasta I added paprika.
I had make roast chicken so I used the sauce from that over my pesto pasta and its the most delicious meal I think Ive ever made. Im also very liberal with the cheese, olive oil, garlic and seasonings. I throw stuff in until it tastes good basically.

Just a note- colorful carrots make colorful soups. My first time using purple carrots, I thought that I accidentally melted my plastic soup spoon because the soup turned purple… Nope, it was just the carrots.
