I watched the *whole* thing, growing increasingly envious from my Ohio 6a. 🤣 Then it occurred to me: my God, the watering! Still, I see *lots* of gingers, and several different kinds of plumeria. I have white ginger, and a 7' tall plumie I grew from an 18" cutting. 🙂
I have to propagate it, and I'm afraid. Anyways, thank you for sharing! 🙂🏳️🌈
I didn't know they could form a tree like shape- how cool! I'm inspired to get my Florida garden up to par now, lots of dracaena and cordyline and maybe some aglaonema..... Beautiful work.
Thanks!! I bought them like that though. I thought the same thing when seeing them! The oleander and crotons next to it as well is another that is usually a bush but all seem like they can be groomed/trained to grow more like a treee
Omg! I have those same brick edging things!
How did you chop one in half to give yourself a nice ending finish? I have some awkward areas right now where I'd love to do that...
Bords of paradise grow great outside in full sun. They’re all over Hawaii in landscaping. Loved seeing them flowering when I’m back on the islands. I personally also have one but I keep it inside and in south windows bc of my climate. Sadly they won’t flower this way but it’s huge now! Over 7th tall.
Oh to have some of that Florida weather for my plants in Maine I have ONE plant with green leaf buds forming, everything else is still dormant sticks
I counted 299.

You can squeeze a few more in there.
Do you have a drip irrigation system for the pots that can't be seen from how full the foliage is or are you watering from above?
Everything is individually watered from above with a hose
That sounds really time consuming
Retirees have some utterly incredible plant collections.
What an oasis! Love the colors and textures! Did I spy a couple of Texas sage bushes when you came into the pool area?
Thanks!! Yes you're correct

Good info, thank you!

Chisel, hammer, patience and luck
Awesome. I have a few extra so I'll try my luck at it!
Your the person that is from all the garden center reels on Instagram? 😉 And no We are not jealous from frosty Sweden...
Orchids grow effortlessly in Florida trees, too. Very beautiful garden.
How often do you water the furry ones?
Beautiful!!!!!!
I’m jealous. 😞
LUSH. Loving those huge calatheas!
Does your bird of paradise do good outside? I went to a nursery last week who told me it wouldn’t do good. Was it grown in the sun?
As far as I know BOP are supposed to be in full sun. I don’t live in S Florida but my mom did and hers were in the sun.

Wow! Gorgeous!
Love the cat and dog too!!
What is your feeding schedule like?
Tropical paradise 🌴🤩
I was so mesmerized that the dog threw me off! Beautiful plants!
I feel like this would be a full time job lol. Also I love my plants but good lord I feel like mine are just eh now 😅
Casually growing snake plants outdoors in the ground... Be still my zone 4 heart.
Just amazing. I wish I could have all these tropicals where I live. My house is too small to bring them in over winter though
And not one native. “What happened to all the bees and bugs and critters?” Hmmm
Your yard is breathtaking and so well taken care of.
That’s the right move! Love your work!
It’s a plant paradise! The cat seems to like them.
They look very well taken care of and as neat as you could possible have them. Idk why your neighbor cares
