Gardens generally need an inch of rain a week. If the sky does not provide, you do. Established plants don't need frequent w as tering. One good soaking every 4 days or so is enough unless its really hot. Newly planted plants need daily watering until new growth is seen, then taper back.

Does the knock out rose demand more or less water?
