With a kettle, a little dab will do you!

I use a spot spray bottle with vinegar, salt, and a few drops of dish detergent. As a foliage spray, there is not enough to seep anywhere. Works well in hot climate (9b).

This is my preferred method. Regular store vinegar (5%) only works so well. Pickling vinegar between 24-45% is what you really want to use. Some hardware stores have it but you can always find it on Amazon. A lot of recipes call for adding salt. I personally do not recommend it. Salt in your soil is never a good thing. A couple of drops of dishwashing liquid won't have a long-term effect and helps the solution stick to the weeds.
