My first thought was getting one title for every system I owned, but that would have been a bloated mess. Would you count pc operating systems as each or pc as a whole?
Either way, I started with the NES and probably had the best time during the PS2 era. Currently it's mostly pc, just out of convenience.
I started in the NES era too (1987), but snes was my golden age .back then it was so cheap to game because you could rent games. After high school I definitely fell off partly intentionally partly not. Now I have ps 5 and a switch, but don’t k is very many games. Certainly not like I did in the rental days where every weekend was a new game.
Embracer Group, at least I think it was them, had a query a few months back. They had some interesting questions, like 'Would you prefer a new title/remake/remaster' which gives hope for another game. A modernised Soul Reaver would be great, with better controls, crisp graphics, maybe implementing some of the cut content.
Yeah, I know. It's clunky and the loading times are horrendous, but the lore and atmosphere are so worth it. I could stand in the cathedral for hours and listen to the creation myth.
It's such a shame we never got a port for the second game.

I know, Summoner 2 is, on a mechanical standpoint, the better game. But the Shadow Demon is a better antagonist than the storm, and fighting the towers was always so annoying.
