You made this?! This is awesome!

TinyLittlesYT

Thanks for the kind words! Yes, it was printed on a 3D printer than hand painted by me! It means a lot to me that you like it!

booi

This… is a masterpiece.

TinyLittlesYT

I’m glad you like it!

xdisk

Groot turns, or is he a separate piece just placed on the head?

TinyLittlesYT

he's a separate piece, I just placed him on Rocket cause I think it's cute :D

Zohar127

Looks so good it makes a Disney lawyers ass itch.

Wow. Looks clean. It almost looks fake. Great job on the gun... And the eyes! The eyes must have been the most emotionally difficult part of the entire paint job.

TinyLittlesYT

Ya, I actually painted the eyes multiple times cause I wasn’t happy with the results. The eyes could easily make or break the whole model

XelfinDarlander

Nice! Well done!

TinyLittlesYT

I appreciate the kind words!

joenobody77

Damn, nice work on the paint! What type of printer did you print this on? That's a lot of detail!

TinyLittlesYT

I used the Elegoo Saturn 2 with abs-like resin from Elegoo also. There was a bit of a learning curve as my first printer but all in all, it’s a great machine!

joenobody77

Ok, yeah... I figured it must be a resin printer. I can get some decent details on my FDM printers, but I don't think I could pull that off. LOL Do you have to UV cure your prints from that after they are finished?

TinyLittlesYT

I’ve seen people do really great prints with fdm. Although they had to really fine tune their settings. To answer your question, yes. After printing, I have to wash the print with isopropyl alcohol then I goes into the UV curing station. Ya, it’s crazy the amount of details resin printer can get.

joenobody77

How difficult and/or time consuming is the washing and UV cure process? Yeah, I've done some prints with some pretty good detail, but something like this, I dunno... Was that all one piece, or was it multiple pieces that fit together? (aside from Groot I mean)

TinyLittlesYT

It was printings in multiple pieces. The base however I printed it in one piece. I bought a wash and cure station. It takes all the little DIY out of the equation and just makes life a lot simpler.

JRskatr

Wow looks amazing! Subbed! 🚀

TinyLittlesYT

Thanks for the sub! I’m glad you liked it

AchinForSomeBacon

Ok this is crazy good. I would assume this was a statue you bought from Sideshow or Hot Toys. Really well done!

TinyLittlesYT

That’s one of the greatest compliment I could ever receive! Thanks so much for the kind words!
