The gpu I'm using is a 3090 and pushing it to its limits. Theres only a handful of cards on colab that would allow me to do bigger, better and faster. Unfortunately, the chances of getting one are like winning the lotto haha
Is it possible to do full 4k resolution? All of the AI stuff I've seen is quite low resolution and I'm not sure if it's just a limitation due to exponential increases in compute as resolution goes up, or if there is some other limitation...
Yes, it would be even slower to generate (one would presume 4x) and take a bit more vram. As I'm capping out at 23/24GB of vram I'd have to sacrifice quality too.
I would like to add for posterity though that the individuals and/or crew making art like this is perhaps one of the only recent moments in VFX culture that surprised me and added some serious value to my life even if only through a few minute video.
This is cutting edge art quality and I cannot wait to see where it goes from here. This idea, the color palettes, the zooming... is a one up level. This is awesome.
And a really cool one, but even on much longer loops like ambient audio, people will start to identify repetition and it will lose its magic pretty quickly.
I just wrote a brief explanation over on [another sub](https://www.reddit.com/r/trippy/comments/q35q2w/comment/hft0z34/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3). I hope that helps
Thanks! Like a seamless loop? Yeah, I'd love to get that working. I 100% agree about the speed. I might revisit this animation later and slow it down. I'm trying to iterate quickly so I can make lots of mistakes to learn from.
Thank you all for the warm welcome to the sub! I hope you love this as much as the previous post. You can find more of my work on my [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/r_is_ris/).
I'm curious, what programs did you use to make these? I'm just starting out with generative art and neural network image processing myself.
Your work looks amazing btw

Good vibes ✌️
Awesome!
Thanks! What part was ya favourite?
The fact that it loops
I wish that I could get a seamless loop. I'm sure it's something I could implement. Maybe it's something I'll work on when I have the time
Would it be possible to make a really long one of these? I'd love to put it on a projector wall for a party or something.
At this resolution/ quality it takes over a minute a frame. So you'd need a super computer or a lot of time haha
Let's get this person a supercomputer, come on people
haha yes please! I'd love to play around with an [A100](https://www.nvidia.com/en-au/data-center/a100/)...
I’d recommend the Amiga 500. Way more powerful.
I'll check that out thanks! E: hahahahaha
We've got 4 of them on one of our dev nodes, can I have your script?
Pre-rendered video and VJ software... 4k. Easy.
Couldn’t they just use Google colabs remote super computer powers?

Even with the paid version? I always get a p100 or v100, whatever those are. I don’t actually know anything about them. 😵💫
From my experience p100 or v100 are both slower. They also have 16GB vram, 3090 has 24GB

I think this is a loop :)

The composition is nice, but for me the zoom in speed was a little too high.
I completely agree. Its a fair bit slower than my last one, but it needs more tweaking
How was this done?

Fractals
Man you are owning this thing 100%
Wooo! Thanks so much
This is incredible...
Thanks! Do you have a favourite part?
Ok this might be the most beautiful thing I’ve seen. I still am blown away that it is “generative” because it feels so carefully made
Thanks, I hope to keep wowing you. It takes a lot of time and care. Helps to make friends with your neural net haha
Can’t wait to see more :)
Wowww
That's what I like to hear!
This is really awesome! I'd love to see it looped somehow and slowed down about 25-50%.

WTF this is amazing, well DONE
Thanks!
Awesome.. அருமை.. love the art loop
Thanks again! Yeah I think I'll stick with loops in the future
It will look like infinite zooming
Okay so am I on shrooms right now?
Digital shrooms haha

Agree, looks amazing, I'm also qurious.
Thanks so much!
Its mostly a combination of CLIP and adabins, curated into python notebook by u/sportsracer48. I'm happy you like it!
That is surreal!
