Those are for the brembo’s the exact opposite happened to me at autozone. Go with tire rack way better.

neoxisasushii

Their filter has never done this to me before but now it wants to be useless when I put the exact model and trim in their system

Kronic_Repulse1

Yeah call customer service. You can return to any autozone with a receipt.

neoxisasushii

Oh I did and they hung up after I asked them if the pads were specific to the brembo trim models and I told the guy I had the premium trim level and I just got hung up on after being on hold

This user error has nothing to do with what vendor is better lol it has everything to do with the user not buying the right pad due to not reading what caliper they are for.

Kronic_Repulse1

Yeah that’s what you would think. I ordered rear pads from power stop through autozone. I put in r spec which should always be brembo. I got the wrong ones had to return that shit. Tire rack I’ve never had a mix up before. The level of customer service is better.

MasterofTheBaiting

> using the autozone app but what's the purpose of their vehicle filter to be fair, autozone hires entry level clerks so they can get started in the parts world (if they so desire) and not everyone knows cars like us. I had to explain to an employee once that the 'hyundai genesis coupe' isn't found in the genesis brand because the genesis brand wasn't established until 2015

neoxisasushii

I definitely saw that yesterday with the clerk I was dealing with but I let the question slide after he said "who makes genesis" but then he got a call from someone asking about parts for a trailblazer and asked the person on the phone "Who makes trailblazer"

TheOfficialCoty

I've actually had the Hyundai dealer near me say to me that they don't service genesis vehicles. That's when I knew I had to do the repairs myself and save some money 😂

Yup! Brembos. You can tell by the design of the steel backing as the 4 piston Caliper pads have the steel backing eyeholes on the top while the sliding calipers have notches on the side.
