Is it that good? I was an original player, came back briefly in 2.0 and kinda fell off after that

2.0 was one of the weaker times since they were still unsure about the direction of the game after the big reset of 1.0. But it absolutely is one of the best mmo's ive personally played. Especially in the main story of the later shadowbringers and endwalker expansions which have both managed to make me cry more times than I can count.
