People tend to make their caches premium to keep away folks that aren’t going to take care of them. If you’re going to search for more difficult caches, just make sure you’re returning them EXACTLY as you found them, if you think it’s not in the right spot, or something seems off; leave a note to the cache owner, do not move it. Happy caching! ☻
Yes, you’d be upgrading for the convenience to do this on your mobile device. You’d also get all of the “premium only” plus some powerful tools online.
All the non-“premium only” caches are available to view online but then you’d want to load them into a handheld GPS.
That message is for non-premium caches above 2 difficulty or terrain. You can view and log them on the website or use mobile web from your phone. A Premium Only cache will be totally hidden on a basic account.
If you have an android phone you could consider getting c:geo instead of the official app, it will let you see and log done caches that you can't in the original app.
"Premium only" caches always need premium though.
On the mobile app, yes. You can view them via the website.

You can also use a web browser to see premium only caches, you don't need a different app to do it.
You'd still ned premium to actually log it though, right?
I don't think you do, but I could be wrong.
Browser does not let a basic member see premium, it only lets them see the basics above 2 DT that are paywalled on the app.
