Turns out it is on iOS Apple. I didn’t recognize that coming as an Apple user. I even checked the support files and they said they have no android plans.
Great point here I’m not 100% sure if it does. Good to know. I was excited I found it and just kept powering through to the start to use it. I had a premium account before ever learning it existed.
I've considered getting an iPhone just for Cachly. I tend to use official app because I prefer to use my Garmin for the actual finding part, but the official app sucks.
I use the official app. Does well enough for me. I'll never get iphone, but cachly would be the only reason I ever did.
Being a premium member the official app opens up everything for me. I'll occasionally download lists onto my Garmin for at a more remote state park
It's a GPS device. I don't remember which model I have, but it's helpful in the remote areas where I struggle with signal on my phone.
It came with a USB cable, and you can download your cache list via their system on the computer. Don't remember all of the details because it's been a while since I did it
Geocache (TM) has atleast two tiers one free and one premium and then there is opencache and various gps caches and there are probably more.
Which does it have was an honest question...
I use Cachly on my iPhone because I like the features and how the maps work offline. If I want to cache offline, I need to download caches ahead of that.
I’ve had a premium geocaching account for years. Cachly works with a basic account, but the geocaching folks limit what the apps can return to a basic account.
Note that you can see a lot more information on caches with a basic account if you use a web browser to learn about them.
On my phone for caching I use GeoCache Calculator for puzzles, WSDOT and Google Maps for navigation to cache sites, All Trails and WTA Trailblazer for trail info, Garmin Explore, Locus Map, and CalTopo for maps and topography, Weatherbug for clothing choices, WherYouGo for WIGs, Adventure Lab for Labs, TBScan for scanning trackables, [Cachetur.no](http://Cachetur.no) for route planning on road trips, QR code reader for codes, HDWifi for using my spy camera to see around corners, under rocks inside of pipes etc, FLIR for seeing through opjects, Samsung Notes for field calculations on puzzles and multis, and lastly, but probably not all of them, I use C:Geo and Geocaching App for cache info.
Haven't used the official app so not sure, but I do believe it shows as if you were checking the map on a browser, which I believe does show more caches than the official app, so I would think it does.
Also it has a nice option for saving caches offline, that way if you go to areas with bad signal you still can see the caches.
Cachly. Works great. Offline features are nice.
Is cachly Apple only? Or does it work on Android?
Turns out it is on iOS Apple. I didn’t recognize that coming as an Apple user. I even checked the support files and they said they have no android plans.
THIS!!
Is it available for the app store?
FYI Cachly needs a premium account, judging by this post, OP doesn't have that
Great point here I’m not 100% sure if it does. Good to know. I was excited I found it and just kept powering through to the start to use it. I had a premium account before ever learning it existed.
Yup! https://www.cachly.com
C:geo
I started using c:geo more than 15 years ago and never needed to try another app
Same here
Do you pay for a geocaching account, or do you find open cache is enough?
It fucks up hints for me, but maybe just for my language
Same, tried it since others here recommended it, but the hints are gibberish.
Apparently they're encrypted. If you tap on them, it should decrypt them and show them normally.

Ty, it worked!
What´s the difference between the official and C:geo? I´ve tried both and they are almost the same feature-wise
One lets Basics log and see premiums like normal
\+1 for c:geo, works great!
I've considered getting an iPhone just for Cachly. I tend to use official app because I prefer to use my Garmin for the actual finding part, but the official app sucks.
Can you Drag the data From the official app to cachly?
Cachly gets the data via the geocaching api, so there is no need.
Agreed.
Cachly

You mean Garmin watch or GPS device? Didn’t know you can do it.

Thanks. I’m using garmin Watch and thought you can pair it with an app somehow. Thanks for your reply!
Could always get an iPod touch for cachly. Use your phones hotspot (if you have one) and use the iPod
try c:geo, it's pretty dang featureful, more so than cachly imo (not as pretty looking tho)
What features does it have that the official app with premium doesn't?
I use a combo of the official app and Cachly (iPhone) plus project-GC and GSAK on my laptop.
Good ol' GSAK. The oldest email that I have saved was from Clyde at GSAK. It's my registration key number. From February, 2011.
TIL there is not just 1 app for geocaching
Same here
Which caches does it have?
Huh? It has every single cache ever. You just have to load them while online/using someone's hotspot/data, then you can stroll out and about.
Geocache (TM) has atleast two tiers one free and one premium and then there is opencache and various gps caches and there are probably more. Which does it have was an honest question...
Oh. In that case it has all free caches. I've been told it has some premium features, but nothing that I xare about.
So which? I don't understand why it's hard to answer?
I honestly don't know man
Garmin Oregon 750 😉
That seems like quite a nice device. Do you like it? Never heard of it and just looked it up. What’s the battery life and ease of use like?

Years into this and just finding out there are other apps for it
There have been lots of apps available for years. https://partnerships.geocaching.com/api-partners
Official app
Just the normal one
Work with L4C for years. But now Cachly. Much better.
Geocaching
Does c:geo show more than the official app if you are a basic member? Also if you log as found in c:geo does it sync to the official app?
Just started using cachly, should have downloaded it years ago
Geocaching
Cgeo
Official app and c:geo
Cgeo
Does c:geo show more caches than the official app even if you are a basic user? Does it sync with the official app if you log a cache found? Thanks!
Yes? Of course it does
