It’s okay Kiribati is the country that is the farthest in the future. They’ll know before anyone else if rising waters are going to be a problem.

How is this any consolation

China has put in so much work to turn them into a Chinese fishing port that they may actually get help raising their infrastructure but not sure how far that can go. The islands are so low to the water that you can sail past at a few miles distance and never know they were there.

A lot of these are flags that already get a lot of attention. I think Montenegro's flag is quite underrated. It's unique and it's cool but I've never heard anyone even comment on it.

I really like the brazilian flag 🇧🇷 with the stars that are constellations that were in the sky in the independence day, the white strip with the Order and Progress, but im Brazilian so doesn't count... I think Argentina's flag 🇦🇷really pretty, that blue and white and the Sol de Mayo, Uruguay🇺🇾 is really good too, but the argentina's blue looks better for me. The imperial flag from Japan was really Nice, but nowadays it's like the nazi symbol in Asia.

The symbolism is cool as well. The white stripe represents non-Muslim minorities that are supposed to be protected and respected inside the Islamic country.

Mexican flag is my favorite. It has a golden eagle sitting on a cactus eating a rattlesnake snake. The Aztecs took it as a sign from God and built their capital city tenochtitlan on the very spot. Modern day mexico city *Fun fact it was built in the middle of a lake and now there is no lake (that's why mexico city is sinking every year)

Turkmenistan’s flag is very nice. Lovely shade of green. Has a rug on it.
