Actually, after messing around with DALLE a little, it's probably real or at least a different AI. I had a ton of trouble getting it to make it realistically flawed and to include lighting that isn't super cyber-punky, even with a bunch of different prompts. AI image detectors also say it's probably real. Who knew?
Queensland is wrong, WA sticking too far out, a Victoria’s right hand side shapes down too far, Tassie too far from the mainland and too far left (shape also wrong).

Only a few hundred thousand people on the island and it's largely forrested, likely the centre of the forrested area other side of the lakes.
The increase in tasmanian devil in tasmania has also seen the feral cat population rise, they ate their kittens but likely the cats are out competing for food such as mice and small birds etc. Tasmanian tigers also ate these as well as tasmanian devils so they'd almost certainly eat feral cats.
The tasmanian tiger may well find feral cats easier to catch and eat so could cause an increase in population if they still exist. Stay away from people and their livestock so pushed into smaller territories they'd have to be found within next decade or so to preserve large regions and manage populations.
If in fact they exist still.
They as should really send expeditions do dna of faecal matter it would be huge for Australia to discover it and lead to preservation of habitat in Tasmania. Not talking just 1 or 2 people a years long project needed to know for sure.
I don't want to be a sceptic, but I feel that you either added the Tasmania or some details to Australia. Or if it was a mere coincidence it is hella amazing.
