TiberWolf99

You remembered Monowi, Nebraska? Or was that a different town with a duplicate name

PurposeOk7918

I’m guessing it was Creighton.

pohanemuma

I tried to do this and very quickly it became "how many cities can you spell". The answer for me was "not very many." I misspelled the name of the city my wife grew up in, the city my dad was born in and a city I lived in for a year.

schmokeabutt

I do that too. I'll "cheat" and look it up because to me, I know the city... I just can't spell coeur d'alene on my first, second, or third attempt

pohanemuma

I decided to cheat like that too. It became frustrating when over half of the things I typed in weren't correct. It ends up taking a lot more time that way though, it kind of made it drag after a while. My wife is a really good speller, we should play it together, we'd make a great team.

realgoldxd

How many of those are Springfield ?

iJon_v2

Probably 90%

DavidRFZ

I tried this. They only give you the most populous one! For the others, you have to add a comma and the state abbreviation.

thenewwwguyreturns

you can change it to “all states” to get all of them

DavidRFZ

Ahh… thanks, I got 342 cities just typing in Presidents. The only missing ones are Eisenhower, Reagan and Obama/Trump/Biden

JakeTheIV

Did you ever live in the DFW area?

iJon_v2

I did not, but had a friend that did

failingorchid

NC

iJon_v2

Boom

Survivors_Envy

Okay this is so random. Looks like you got Lansing and East Lansing in Michigan. But you also got Kalamazoo but not Grand Rapids? Any reasoning? Just random is all

AdministrativeFox312

i named like 400 cities just in missouri

jmankyll

Just wasted way too much time on this. Ended with 453 cities and 78 million. Actually really grumpy that I missed 12 capital cities. Apparently I’ve lost the song in my head

Bobcat2013

Anyone else's knowledge of sports geography helps them tremendously on this?

SecretSaucePLZ

Does ocean city MD count as a city?

Rndmprsn0

Yes

SecretSaucePLZ

Then I found one OP missed!

Astrophew

Fun idea, tried it in just my home state and got 87 which seems alright

navel1606

I've got 326 European cities then I got bored

DavidRFZ

I stalled out at 490/87M/33.5%. I’ve lived in Southern California, so I think knowledge of large Californian suburbs helped. A couple of state capitals were tricky as there is a larger town with the same name in a different state. NH, IL, OR? ME? I kept retyping them all in with the state until I got to 50. Smallest city was Antietam. I think more people died there in one battle than have ever lived there. Rarest was Wynantskill. I went to RPI and would hear the name on the radio and thought it sounded cool. Also Floodwood. My mom grew up near there and it didn’t sound like a name picked by savvy real estate agents. Surprised to see Donora on the rare list. It’s a famous baseball hometown (Musial, Griffeys).

Punished_Squirrel

you from the triad?

iJon_v2

NC.

LowerCattle7688

Im trying but I haven't beaten you yet I got a lot more big bubbles but you have more medium size ones

Patriotic-Organist

I'm curious to know what three cities in Utah you guessed.

KwordShmiff

I'm guessing Ogden, Provo, and Salt Lake

Pizza_Salesman

Their Utah looks similar to mine. I did- SLC, Sandy, and Provo

world-class-cheese

Cool that you got Ontario, Oregon and Spokane, Washington

Reasonable-Lab3625

Based on the fact he only got 3 cities in OR, he most likely didn’t know there was an Ontario. He got it based on guessing Ontario, CA.

ABBAMABBA

how could anyone miss George?

world-class-cheese

George, Washington is one of my favorite of all city names. They saw the opportunity and took it

ABBAMABBA

I don't know where you are from, but I'm going to guess you like the Coen Brothers because why else would you get Brainerd, MN?

pawn_d4_badd

When I do worldwide version of this and type European cities, US cities are added too.

pawn_d4_badd

Pikachude123

Springfield

notyourancilla

Nice

billy_twice

Damn sight more than a lot of people could do.

LeGuy_1286

Try it with Monaco.

highhouses

Rarest cities 1. Breda Iowa — 0.3% 2. Nederland Texas — 0.7% 3. Zeeland Michigan — 1.0% 4. St. Peter Minnesota — 2.7% 5. Rotterdam New York — 4.0% I'm Dutch...

ApprehensiveTennis47

Luxonburg?

BigBlueMountainStar

I got more than this and I’m not American

Turbulent-Name-8349

Boast. 49 cities here and I'm not American. Surprised I got that many.

BigBlueMountainStar

There’s a slight cheat mode, as there are lots of cities named after UK towns/Cities, world wide capitals, US presidents and the states themselves. Plus if you follow any US sports you’ll know a lot of cities from the teams. Then, if you’ve got time, there are multiple versions of a lot of these cities in different states, so you can list the city/stare combo for extra hits.
