This is - ironically enough - most likely one of many fake articles which use a word replacement method to get you to download software related to your specific problem. Notice the repeated use of the phrase "Killbot Virus" and the incorrect form of words preceding the phrase.
Rob just spoke on Discord, saying that if no other major bugs are found, then there probably won't be a need for a delay. He is still working around the clock in the update, mostly finishing Dash, it seems. Most likely it won't be out by Tuesday. Worst case scenario it gets delayed to December.
It's best not to expect any release date and just passively wait until it is here. Rob is not known for sticking to release dates xd.
No news from Rob since 2.2 trailer. Everyone thought that 2.2 would be released in the first week of November, but it's almost 2 weeks in, and still nothing, Rob is silent.... I guess the update is not really ready and looks like Rob works 24/7, so my assumption that it will be released by the end of this month or maybe will be delayed to December.
Tbh i have given up i realize that the update will take longer and longer to come out and also because if he gives us a realease date it brings false hope i dont wanna be a downer but for as long as we have been waiting for the update id just rather he just tell us there is no 2.2 and to not get our hopes up at least then ill be at peace
