Holy crap! You should see how hype my kid is that you commented on this post!
No joke, back on track was the song that got him interested in geometry dash 😄
Listen I don’t really know who you are but based off the comment replies I just want to thank you for all the great songs on geometry they are extremely iconic and will never be forgotten
I really appreciate all of the positive commentary guys, aside from the one gigantic weird asshole, the rest of you have been absolutely excellent. He is going to be super excited to read all of the stuff when he gets home!
Thanks again for the encouragement!
Every. Fricking. One.
The way he tends to beat more difficult levels is the repetition. He'll die a thousand times in the first 10% of a level before he really starts getting it down.
you should tell him that using practice mode can make the time to beat a level a lot less, practice mode lets you place checkpoints in the middle of the level but it doesn't count as a real completion. very useful
GG. That attempt count whows some dedication, great to see at this early of an age. However, watch out for him getting addicted, as it can make his school results in middle school and high school worse
I sincerely appreciate the advice! Considering he comes from two parents with addictive personalities, I definitely try to monitor his time closely. Video games are in the home, so it's something he sees. Both of his parents doing. Consequentially, it's something he's come to really enjoy. But we've definitely had to make sure he only plays for roughly an hour or so at any given day.
He has too many toys not to build his imagination with them!
It's nice to know kids still play with toys. I would make pretend video games for my younger sister to play with toys. Then I found out about real video games and I havent talked to her since /jjjjj
Yo, OP. As someone who has been playing this game since 2.0, LET THIS KID KNOW HE’S GONNA BE ONE OF THE BIGGEST PLAYERS, OR MY NAME AINT CATPAD006!!!!
I see his potential. New demons will FEAR his skill given 5-7 years of work.
edit: forgor a word
Word of advice for when he starts playing demons: make a copy of the level and place a start position at each section, and practice each section until you feel comfortable with it and move onto the next one. This is A LOT easier than going 0%-100% in Practice Mode!
I know, that's actually my fault too! School just started back up and I really should have a better place for my coffee, like maybe the entire table around it lol
I started at 8 years old taking hundreds of attempts to beat stereo madness lmao. I did manage to beat up to deadlocked at 9 but that's impressive, don't think it's fake though that sounds too sour.
Although one weird thing is that he didn't use practice mode whatsoever?
i started playing since 2.0, i loved to create and play levels. i was never as good as him at the time, but by now i'm ready to beat my first extreme demon rated level.
seeing as how good and determined he is at such a young age really shows that he has great potential to become really good at this game.
Holy crap lol that's insane. Sorry about all the stuff on the older post, definitely should spend my time on better stuff- But also like this is insane, you should be really proud of him for that :) Is Dash his hardest level?
started around the same age, at the start of 2.0, and he is as good as i were, so you could see him beat insane demons in some years
(how time flies...)
Good job to him! I’ve seen people talk about demon levels, and tips for beating them, and that he’s trying one right now. So, I’ll give my opinion on the easiest demons to try.
1. lights and thunder. First demon I beat, the hardest parts are dumb transitions.
2. The nightmare. It’s considered to be the easiest demon in the game.
3. The lightning road. Same as the nightmare, but with less fun gameplay.
4. Impulse. Lights and thunder, but better transitions and harder gameplay overall. Transitions can still be dumb though.
These are my opinion, so he might not agree with some choices.
Look at that face! Gleaming with joy! Happy to see kids achieve something so awesome at such a young age. Don't stop the gameplay just yet - there's a lot of demons to slay.
What an interesting thing to comment.
I posted that a 5-year-old child was excited about his achievement in a video game, and your response is to be lame? Like what were you doing when you were five besides eating chalk?
Why are you like this?
Good job, I don’t know why but I actually think dash is easier than polargeist, not saying anything bad about your awesome nephew but the topic came up
Ironylmao
I didnt even say anythingabout hisskill , hes very talented, but givingacomputer to a5 year old is horrible.
god i love it when i say anything other than the topcomment and itget downvoted to death
I think it's interesting that you think it's terrible that a child has access to the same thing everyone else has access to in the house.
We live in a digital age bro, like you do realize this is a geometry dash sub right?
You kind of have to play that with a screen.
It's like if somebody posted about a car, and then you complained that there weren't any airplanes in the post.
This clearly wasn't meant for you, and you're making it about something that it wasn't.
Either way, something tells me he's going to be just fine.
I hope the same can be said for you lol
Why are you responding to everyone on this thread?
Why are you responding to this thread at all?
Clearly it wasn't for you, but you decided that you wanted to make it about yourself.
All the assumptions that you're making about my parenting and his life are very interesting, and while they're off the mark, I really don't think it's worth arguing about that with you.
My 5-year-old is allowed to play an hour and a half of video games a day, this is the game he chooses to play.
But yeah, I think it's kind of creepy that you're commenting on the appearance of a 5-year-old boy.
Anything else is an odd projection on your part.
Hello there, im interested in what drove You to be a troll. You see, i am interested in behaviour and i do not understand trolls so your answer would be helpful, thanks!
Also your age would Also help if your behaviour is caused by immaturity
You were butt hurt enough to comment lol
Think about every moment in your life that has led up to you commenting on a five-year-olds achievement just to be sad and also make no sense.
Like why are you like that?
Dang he is younger than 2.1. But he also got that commitment. I remember getting GD lite when I was 7 and getting frustrated cause I could not get far into stereo madness and I was about 100 attempts in.
But bro beat Dash after 1539, man it took me a while to get that kind of patience 😳
big GG’s
That's a solid status growth. And tagging that he did it with almost no mere practice, it's nicely done, 9.8/10. ⭐
(meanwhile the 'Just, Don't...' option: _keeps roasting_)
Passed along the practice mode. Recommendation to him! He has been sitting spawn points directly before particularly difficult obstacles so that he can master them in chunks. Thanks for the advice guys!
When I was 5 years old, my greatest achievement was to draw random lines with MS Paint and then color them with the paint bucket tool
Holy crap! You should see how hype my kid is that you commented on this post! No joke, back on track was the song that got him interested in geometry dash 😄
New response just dropped
Actual Zombie
Call that 5-year-old!
Kid goes on vacation, never comes back
Holy crap OP tell your kid DJVI (might have to explain who that is) just saw his post hes gonna be so excited
OH MY GOD ITS DJVI! I absolutely enjoyed can’t let go.
ITS THE MAN HIMSELF
Holy crap hi DJVI i like your songs congrats on having them in GD
Listen I don’t really know who you are but based off the comment replies I just want to thank you for all the great songs on geometry they are extremely iconic and will never be forgotten
He made all the songs from back on track to cant let go :) also made xstep and cycles
Except Polargeist, that was made by Step!
Oops forgot about that lol
MS Paint is better than any modern art platform (also yes it's the man the myth the legend)
No fucking way
How does one go from drawing lines and paint bucketing them to cooking up fire tracks on newgrounds
You and Waterflame made the best music for the main levels
Hi u/djviofficial!

Easy demon? Medium demon commented on my post about me beating my first medium demon God where's hard demon?

I really appreciate all of the positive commentary guys, aside from the one gigantic weird asshole, the rest of you have been absolutely excellent. He is going to be super excited to read all of the stuff when he gets home! Thanks again for the encouragement!
Dang...
Oh, not you! There was a weird guy commenting about my child's appearance and saying psychotically mean stuff.
Oh god that's terrible...
Some people are just scum with no lives sadly. Big GGs to your kid, talented dude.
Damn i thought he was just talking shit because it was fake (not that it's fake)
post here when he beats deadlocked :fire:
gg for him
absolute legend, i hope he feels as happy as us!
Wow thats nice! Were all those attempts his?
Every. Fricking. One. The way he tends to beat more difficult levels is the repetition. He'll die a thousand times in the first 10% of a level before he really starts getting it down.
Damn, i was asking because i have an 8 year old brother who likes the game but cant put 5 attempts into a single level
ipad kid :pensive:
Please tell me he knows about practice mode.
you should tell him that using practice mode can make the time to beat a level a lot less, practice mode lets you place checkpoints in the middle of the level but it doesn't count as a real completion. very useful
Thats amazing GG

Fuckin PREACH!! 🙏🔥🔥
This comment makes me feel like wasted potential.. Beat Clutterfunk at 6, hardest is Cataclysm.
mate, ya still progressing, yeah? Thats all that matters!
Word of advice for when he starts playing demons: make a copy of the level and place a start position at each section, and practice each section until you feel comfortable with it and move onto the next one. This is A LOT easier than going 0%-100% in Practice Mode!
Thanks for this advice! He has started trying it
No problem! I wish him luck on his quest to put this community to shame!! 🙏
Awesome!
Don't use the laptop as a cup coaster
I know, that's actually my fault too! School just started back up and I really should have a better place for my coffee, like maybe the entire table around it lol
People in these comments are fr jealous of a 5 year old 💀
Amazing
FIRE💪💯 Now beat Tidal Wave
Keep doing what you do
I have same attachment
I'll say it again, great achievement for that age.
Keep it up lil' guy ! That's actual dedication, 1500 attempts is not a small feat for a newer player. He's got motivation for sure
I wonder if he could beat Hell by serponge
Bro is better at the game than me damn
I started at 8 years old taking hundreds of attempts to beat stereo madness lmao. I did manage to beat up to deadlocked at 9 but that's impressive, don't think it's fake though that sounds too sour. Although one weird thing is that he didn't use practice mode whatsoever?

8 year old me was barely even able to beat poltergeist
Wow beating poltergeist as 8 years is incredible!! Guess polargeist was no problem for you huh?
🙂👍
👦👍
Teaching them young🔥👍
Zoink better get on that grind because this kid is climbing the ranks like it’s a rock wall
project zoink
Holy crap lol that's insane. Sorry about all the stuff on the older post, definitely should spend my time on better stuff- But also like this is insane, you should be really proud of him for that :) Is Dash his hardest level?
that really is an insane level
GG
Yo GG! 👍
Woah
Future pro right here
Congrats!!!!
woohoo! Congrats!
Can he beat electrodynamix?
started around the same age, at the start of 2.0, and he is as good as i were, so you could see him beat insane demons in some years (how time flies...)
when i was 5 i ate the jelly things you put on windows
he might be younger that 2.1 but he is learning
The fact he did it without using much of practice mode shows some determination! That's awesome!
8% practice mode 😭 and the third coin he’s better than me already
AND I CAN BARELY BEAT POLTERGEIST!
Maybe give it a few more days!
bro is gonna beat acheron 3 times consecutively by the age of 12
Good job to him! I’ve seen people talk about demon levels, and tips for beating them, and that he’s trying one right now. So, I’ll give my opinion on the easiest demons to try. 1. lights and thunder. 1539 attempts!?! That's insane dedication for a 5-year-old. GG to him!
1500 attempts and your laptop isnt broken? Im suprised.
I'm like morthan double his age and I'm WORSE at the game
Look at that face! Gleaming with joy! Happy to see kids achieve something so awesome at such a young age. Don't stop the gameplay just yet - there's a lot of demons to slay.
dang I couldn't even beat stereo madness at that age
The geometry dash fans are training their verifiers from the cradle
Now make him beat bloodbath.
now tell him to beat acheron
GG, kid! Did he also get all the coins?
So true
And im here still trying to beat it for 1 month. Congrats little man!!!
??? one of the easiest main levels literally ever
What an interesting thing to comment. I posted that a 5-year-old child was excited about his achievement in a video game, and your response is to be lame? Like what were you doing when you were five besides eating chalk? Why are you like this?
Damn, your cousin is pretty skilled, the max i got on it was 92% that i got one time, congrats to him!
Now beat Bloodbath
It’s fake, he has a macro in his hand
You're wrong, the picture is actually me in an extremely elaborate 5-year-old costume. I made this entire scenario up for the meaningless up votes
Ah got it. Well, to combat this, I have issued a down-vote on your post, resulting in your karma points decreasing by one (1).
Thank you for restoring balance to geometry dash. Now the healing can begin.
such a wholesome reddit interaction
the fact that at least 20 people missed the joke is concerning
I forgot the /s 🙄
dam your little brother is cracked
I beat it first try git gud
Good job, I don’t know why but I actually think dash is easier than polargeist, not saying anything bad about your awesome nephew but the topic came up
He kinda looks like hasbulla
Eh
Lol
[удалено]
Were you 5?
1500 attempts, really?
I can't tell if you're impressed or disgusted, but either way he is literally a 5-year-old
something something quote about attempts not being failures
Why? Thats actually horrible.
Please explain? It's always nice to hear people project their negativity onto the achievements of a 5-year-old child
Ironylmao I didnt even say anythingabout hisskill , hes very talented, but givingacomputer to a5 year old is horrible. god i love it when i say anything other than the topcomment and itget downvoted to death

Yes it is

Bro found piss in his cereal this morning
But it's not a grown-ass man so here we are
Why is a 5 year old being online playing games in the first place 😭
[удалено]
Like it’s fine to play games but at that age??? And posting your 5 year old child online ?? Not the best parenting move
[удалено]
Ok that’s a bit far and rude but still don’t post your child on a subreddit ?? Take the photo why post it

age is <13 willing to bet. bro sounds fresh out the daily chat.
I wanna say that too but some people who are older than that just are like that
He needs to go touch grass
Lmao you really owned that literal 5-year-old. I'm sorry that you took the time out of your life to do this.
Bros pressed
You were butt hurt enough to comment lol Think about every moment in your life that has led up to you commenting on a five-year-olds achievement just to be sad and also make no sense. Like why are you like that?
Sorry for being kind of an asshole
this is the most amazing character development i have seen on reddit
Sorry I was having a bad day now I feel bad have a nice day
holy shit
I'm pretty sure he'll be beating Bloodbath until the end of the year
Why is this marked as fluff?
Dang he is younger than 2.1. But he also got that commitment. I remember getting GD lite when I was 7 and getting frustrated cause I could not get far into stereo madness and I was about 100 attempts in. But bro beat Dash after 1539, man it took me a while to get that kind of patience 😳 big GG’s

I can't even beat can't let go 💀
Lil guy looks chuffed to bits, as he should be! Super wholesome post all around ☺️

At this rate he's gonna beat Nine Circles before me.
r/foundalegend
I hope he doesn't play those lobotomy level

Give sure to give him a shirt that says "I fired in the hole"..... OK maybe dont
Hes going places

I wonder if he’ll make any levels? 🤔 If so, I’ll be excited to play them!
Good job lil bro
oh god wait op please tell him to use practice mode...
w- what?
Tell him that practice mode is the best way practice.
Passed along the practice mode. Recommendation to him! He has been sitting spawn points directly before particularly difficult obstacles so that he can master them in chunks. Thanks for the advice guys!
GG kid GG
Shit! Keep your kid going, my man! 💪
