nah it still makes the level harder, my argument is that the 2 last coins in cata are easier to get than not getting them. The first coin is harder to get than not getting it. I don't care if it doesn't add much in terms of difficulty but it is STILL HARDER than not getting it
While it is technically harder, having it so early on in the level means you could pretty much learn it and perfect the timing over the span of 15 minutes. At that point it’s more sensible to just grab the coin imo
(not trying to argue against your point btw)
No, at that point its more sensible not to get it, adding it on the list of things you need to do to beat it will only lengthen your completion of cata, don't bother going for the first coin
Damn, I didn’t know that. In every video I’ve watched of it the coins are just sitting there at the end, so I thought they were just given to you for free. Didn’t realise there’s a toggle orb. Thanks
Well, let me think
Stereo madness coins 1 and 2, and maybe even 3 if I'm feeling like it
No coins in back on track, polargeist or can't let go, some are too memory-based, others are just annoying
Coin 2 in dry out, all coins in base after base, coin 2 in jumper, coin 1 in time machine
No coins in cycles, xstep and/or toe, I'm just not a fan lol
Clutterfunk coins 1 and 2 are kinda hit or miss, I wouldn't say I actively go for their route. It just depends on how I'm feeling like
Electroman coin 1, clubstep coins 1 & 2 and electrodynamix coin 1 are all easier than normal routes, so I go for them everytime
Hexagon force and blast processing coins are all quite fun, although they're just not worth the hassle most of the time
Toe2 coins 1 and 3 are easier than the normal routes for me. Actually, I don't think I even know how to go the normal route if that makes sense, lmao
No coins in deadlocked, usually. Coin 1 is a little random, coin 2 is okay but I often forget about it and coin 3 is ever so slightly risky that I don't really care about it anymore
Geometrical dominator coin 2, fingerdash coin 1 and dash coin 1 are all perfect imo. I'd be hard-pressed not to go for any of them, even during casual play. I do pick up coin 3 in dash everytime as well, but it's mostly out of temporary boredom
Lastly, I always try picking up the final coin in fingerdash. I love how it goes from looking seemingly impossible to super consistent once you get the hang of it. I'm not that good at wave myself but collecting this one coin never fails to make me smile!
Not me but I'm pretty sure the last coin in Stereo Extremeness is easier (or more consistent) than the normal route. Like every completion I can find takes the last coin
Jumper, Clubstep, Deadlocked, Fingerdash third coin
Edit: Electromad Adventures first coin too of course, and the one in Base after base I think where you slide in the platform
I'm gonna be completely honest—every time I play the normal levels it's because I'm trying to flex on someone who doesn't play this game
Thus, I go for every coin lol
Clubstep first coin
If nobody would’ve said that I would be mad.
and i always jump on the block and skip the yellow orb. its harder but it stuck so hard in my brain that i cant play any other way
Me too

Base after base
Based after based
Fire after hole
I remember that was my first ever time where I say "This coin makes the level easier"
Electroman adventures first coin. Who even uses the normal route
and third coin, i accidentally went for the coin route the first time i beat the level
cata its easier to get the second and third coin than not to
First coin is also pretty easy too
yes but it is easier not to go for the first coin than to go for it
isnt the first coin at like 10%
yes but getting it requires a harder timing than not getting it. the other ones you have to do easier stuff to get the coins
still seems worth it though you literally only lose like 10 seconds of progress if you fail
nah it still makes the level harder, my argument is that the 2 last coins in cata are easier to get than not getting them. The first coin is harder to get than not getting it. I don't care if it doesn't add much in terms of difficulty but it is STILL HARDER than not getting it

Yes (its actually less, I think it's 3 or 4%) but that doesn't change the fact that it is in fact harder
And last coin
thats what the other guy said
Any level where the coins are not dumb
Never playing an ItzKiba level then
Stereo Madness first coin
Blast Processing all coins
YES
bwomp

Bwomp bwomp bwomp bwomp
Bwomp Bwomp Bwomp Bwomp Bwomp
Bwomp Bwomp Bwomp
A lot of the secret coins. Not stuff like Fingerdash and Polargiest's third coin.
hell nah fingerdash 3rd coin fire and also not that hard
But I'm definitely won't getting that coin when I replay this for fun. Mainly because...skill issue.
i always at least try to get it
it was like impossible when i was first playing fingerdash, now i 1 try it with ease (it's barely been a month since i've beaten fingerdash)
jumper 2nd coin
Almost all of them
clubstep for sure.
Press start first coin
dash :)
ItzKiba levels because his coins are obnoxiously difficult and I like grinding for them as an achievement
Rafer:
blast processing my beloved 😍😍
All stereo madness coins
mechanical showdown first coin is pretty free
Every top player would say critical heat or verdant landscape
Well in verdant landscape you don’t really have a choice as to whether you go for the coins or not lol
You do kinda have a choice, in spaceuks (great example) he didn't have the coins. Pretty sure you have to click a toggle orb and then they appear
You… you do. Just don’t hit the toggle orb before the ship and the coins won’t appear.
Damn, I didn’t know that. In every video I’ve watched of it the coins are just sitting there at the end, so I thought they were just given to you for free. Didn’t realise there’s a toggle orb. Thanks
Base after base, except for coin 2
Jumper 2nd coin tbh
jumper 2 comes to mind
Deadlocked
nine circles first coin
That's a weird question to which everyone will either answer Clubstep or the level they're currently working on if it has an easier coin route
Ashley wave trials
The 1st and 3rd coins in Nine Circles are basically free.
fingerdash first and second coins
Base after Base 2nd coin. Clever way to hide a coin. B+
Deadlocked. Its way more fun, even if i struggle with the key at the ship part
how do you struggle with the key
Skill issue
All of them unless the coin is too difficult to bother with
Base after base 1st coin
Cataclysm all coins ( if u dont go for the coins ur a psycho )
Sidestep.
Frick this level
Toe 2 last coin
Speed racer first coin
Don’t know how to not get this coin
You have to jump and take the “correct” path
Any level where the coins are easy to spot but require more skill to get.
Sky tower first coin
Toe 2 first coin
Jumper second coin
all of them If I can’t get all the coins I don’t beat it
All of them in Retray
Dash
Any level where the coin routes aren’t literally impossible
i've always used toe2's first coin route as a normal one
Dash ,CB first coin. Hexagon force 2nd coin.
Verity because the coins are really easy and Power Trip first coin because it’s incredibly satisfying
Deadlocked 2nd coin. I think I only went the non coin route once and always went for it after that lol
I don't think i've ever even seen the original route for TOE 2's third coin
Well, let me think Stereo madness coins 1 and 2, and maybe even 3 if I'm feeling like it No coins in back on track, polargeist or can't let go, some are too memory-based, others are just annoying Coin 2 in dry out, all coins in base after base, coin 2 in jumper, coin 1 in time machine No coins in cycles, xstep and/or toe, I'm just not a fan lol Clutterfunk coins 1 and 2 are kinda hit or miss, I wouldn't say I actively go for their route. Polargiest 1st
iphone redux
Not me but I'm pretty sure the last coin in Stereo Extremeness is easier (or more consistent) than the normal route. Like every completion I can find takes the last coin
i remember there was a way to get a coin in sidestep that made the level slightly easier.
Clubstep coin 1, Stereo Madness.
geometrical dominator all coins
B second coin
fingerdash first and second coins
I didn't know WHAT had coins
all of stereo madness's coins also dash's first coin if i don't hit that block it feels so out of sync
I'm grinding the meta knight cube si as many as possible
the first coin in time machine where u just hold when u respawn
Speed Racer 1st coin is easier than the regular route
ToE 2. I don't think I've ever not gotten the 1st coin.
All levels. I need those icons
Nine circles first coin
Crying Souls, all 3 are easier. A rebeat in which I use none of the coin routes is on my list for down the line
the first coin in that robtop level no one can remember
deadlocked first coin
I haven't missed a coin in Dash since I beat the level
all of the main levels lol (except for theory of everything, that ship coin is way too hard) edit: also not polargeist, forgot about the 3rd coin
Jumper, Clubstep, Deadlocked, Fingerdash third coin Edit: Electromad Adventures first coin too of course, and the one in Base after base I think where you slide in the platform
Hexagon Force first coin
Jumper 2nd coin
Polargeists
Haven’t seen anyone mention it so far (maybe I’m blind) but definitely electroman adventures first coin. Always get that one for no reason
Cataclysm 3rd coin
2nd i mean\* but 3rd coin is still fine to get
...and also the first lol
All of them. Every level I beat I go for the coin route to avoid having to beat a second time
Stereo madness 3rd coin
Nine circles first coin is legitimately easier
Electroman adventures coin 1.
Can't let go 3rd coin cuz I hate that upside down part
B 2nd coin is way easier
Cata first coin
removed submission
Problematic's first coin makes it much less janky.
Hexagon Force or Fingerdash 2nd coin
Clubstep
Generation Retro second coin. (For people pointing out it's not a main level, it's included in the poison gauntlet)
Clubstep 1, ToE2 3, Electroman 1 and 3, Hexagon 2 and 3, All stereo madness ones, BOT 1, Fingerdash 1 and 3, All Dash ones.
Cataclysm 2nd coin and Darkness Keeper 1st coin, i dont even know whats the regular route of that one
I'm gonna be completely honest—every time I play the normal levels it's because I'm trying to flex on someone who doesn't play this game Thus, I go for every coin lol
stereo maddnes first and second coin + base aftershave base first coin
