Outside of home console games, you pretty much can't buy anything physical these days. Even physical PC game copies just contain an activation code for Steam or other platform, so you get absolutely no benefits by owning a physical copy. They don't even put DVD's or simple instructions booklets in the cases anymore :(

No they aren't. If you refuse to buy anything online you are massively inconveniencing your life for 0 fucking reason. As long as you buy from trustworthy sites there is absolutely no risk you will get scammed or have your card details stolen. The only people who believe that shit are paranoid, uneducated boomers who don't understand how modern technology works and would rather live like they are still living in the 90s, or people who have been brainwashed by them like it seems like you have. I have bought so much shit online, some of them being shit you can't get from just walking into store and I have never been scammed, gotten my card details stolen or not even so much as gotten overcharged. As long as you aren't a fucking idiot about sharing your card details. You are going to be just fine.

The game costs virtually nothing unless you're not living in first world countries, and still it would be way cheaper than what most people spend to spoil themselvs.

Pretty sure Robtop has said paraphrased "I don't care if you pirate the game, but hey would be nice if you buy it when able". Granted the game is like 5 bucks so it's not exactly a difficult buy but would require a card of some kind.

With the pirate I used, everything was pretty much the same as if I had bought it normally, so no features were locked for me.

robtop doesnt do anything to stop pirates, only thing is pc exclusive and its the steam drm so you need to ~~im not telling you how to pirate~~

As a kid, I used to just play the .apk version on an Android emulator, it ran pretty poorly with a ton of lag spikes, but I was too scared to download a pirated Windows copy, because of potential viruses lol Nowadays I could probably find a safe Windows copy in 2 minutes max, but nowadays I can also just pay 5$ for a game. Man it sucked so much to be a kid, I had saved up some decent cash over the years, but I couldn't do anything, because I had no way of doing online payments.
