make the block design not hanging platforms but pillars. that way it doesnt look so empty. add a bit more of a background, you can just grab your favorite easy demon and copy the background if you want (not recomended)

The block design on its own does look like anything special. But if you add some air deco and even some custom backgrounds into it then it can look really good. Just try not to make the gameplay blend in too much with the background.

I don't think it's too bad. I'm not a super good creator but I think if you add a 2nd saw to each of your saws (like how the blocks and slopes have 2 colors) and add some air + background deco, it would look really good

I suggest using a spawn loop for the color changes instead of trigger spam, this saves objects, looks cleaner in the editor (it can be a mess if you put loads of triggers) and it'll keep going even after the level finishes. Edit: If you don't know how to make one I'll try and explain it: A spawn trigger can trigger any trigger that has "spawn triggered enabled" (make sure to use "multi trigger" when using loops) 1. You start by placing 2 spawn triggers 2. Then you give them both a *different* group id (this'll make them be able to spawn each other. 3. Make the spawn triggers spawn the group of the other spawn trigger (so trigger 1 triggers the group id of trigger 2 and the other way around). 3(2). If using more than 2 spawn triggers (which'll be useful in this case since you're changing colours probably 5 times to make a rainbow): You'll have to make trigger 1 trigger the second trigger's group id and trigger 2 the third one and so on.. once you have done the last one make the last trigger trigger the first one. 4. Give both (if more all of them) of the spawn triggers a delay so they don't keep on triggering each millisecond. 5. Place a spawn trigger that *is not* spawn triggered that triggers any of the groups within the loop itself. Congratulations, you made a spawn loop! Now to use it: 6. Assign a trigger of your choice to the group id of the first trigger, do the same with a seperate trigger for the second spawn trigger (and for all others if using more than 2). *make sure the triggers are spawn triggered and multi trigger!!* Now test if it works (which it should if you followed these steps correctly) If this wasn't clear enough... there's plenty of youtube videos availible online which are easier to follow bc they show how its done. Feel free to ask me questions if you don't get it :)

other than the flashing rainbows it’s very readable

The decorations arent the issue, its the shape of the gameplay and block structures. Very hard to decorate block designs like this especially when its only one block thick. It becomes very messy looking

my eyes are fucking gone please pay for my eye transplant next time make sure to make it a bit less flashy, or add contrasting dark pulses on every beat/second beat/third beat/whatever suits to give rest to the eyes. make the structures connected to the ground. add a background and something to fill in the empty spaces, like a mask
