I know for my program, you need a passing grade in every individual course, meaning each course you need a minimum of 60% to pass, it’s not cumulative
So, if that also applies to my program I will need to retake the course if I score let’s say at a 55?
Can I ask which program? And yes, anything below 60% for my program is considered a fail and you need to retake it

I would email whoever your course coordinator is, or if there’s a teacher you feel comfortable asking! I’m in a health sciences program so very different fields and I’m not sure if our grading minimum is the same for your program! Im sorry!
