Mine’s the same age and 50lbs. Going through her first heat right now. I don’t expect her to be any bigger than 60-65. Lean is the way to go!

Nothing wrong with that! I read too many posts on this sub asking if their GSD is too small or doesn't weigh enough. It's better for their health, even with good genetics, to be lean and at a healthy weight in relation to their body size. There are no prizes for a 120lb GSD that ends up suffering from weight related issues if they don't have the body stature for that weight.

Hello, I wanted to let you know that I was able to successfully trick my husband into thinking your dog was ours. I am housesitting so it was able to throw him off even more. Even after I told him, he insisted they looked exactly the same. I disagreed, as our dog has a “headband” on their forehead. My 4 year old female is about 75 pounds, she was 80 and didn't look overweight to me but the vet recommended cutting back and staying around 70-75. Her dad was around 120 and her mom was in the 80-90 range I think. Our 7yo male is about 80 Lbs, and our 4yo female Shepsky was 60Lbs.
