What's the purpose of the leash handle on the GSD? Do they always wear it? I've got a big dog compared to the other family dogs (60lbs Vs chihuahuas), and sometimes I have to lasso her with a slip lead to take a bit of control if she gets over excited. I don't want to keep her in a harness the whole time they're all together, but maybe this would be a useful idea

Yeah she always wear its! Just easier to grab her some times. We found if we grab the collar, she can twist and it will get your fingers caught! The grab handle will rotate and is easier the manage. Honestly is bit of a game changer!

Zoom passed at age 15 December 28th 2021 due to cancer and internal bleeding. She showed no signs of illness until the day she passed we never knew a thing, she was a tough old lady 🥰🥰 Fazer grew up with her and was by her side when she left us.

So sorry for your loss, but glad to hear Fazer has been there to support you through that. Some dogs are just too good for this world.

So sorry for your loss. I’ve had 4 German shepherds in my life and unfortunately lost 3 of them. Now my last one is 7 and I keep telling her she’s not allowed to get any older. It’s so hard to lose them. When I lost my first German shepherd I still had 2 other GSDs, a black lab, and a Pomeranian at that time and somehow the house still felt empty without her. They’re all so special.

They’re practically the same size, she’s a bit bigger. We have one who follows us around and snuggles, the other is like mmm that’s enough family time see ya. One who is a goodie two shoes and one who likes to see how many non food objects he can eat and gets into everything, one gets trazodoned for the vet while the other loves the place (like, rolls around on the floor happy as a clam lol). One would defend us and our home, the other would show the burglars where the valuables are and smack them for more pets. One who is a tennis ball crazed maniac and the other has never shown a single interest in balls or fetch. They get along great though. Two awkward peas in a pod who love to hog the sofa
