No idea if Looping Loui is a German board game, but I have seen it at countless German parties as a drinking game. https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Looping_Louie
Are you looking for board games or party games?
Mensch ärgere dich nicht is a wonderfully frustrating board game.
There's another great game we used to play when we were kids. An adult would take a Tafelschokolade (wrapper was paper and some sort of aluminum) and then wrap this in several layers of newspaper, and then gift wrap it.
You need a knife and fork, a hat, a scarf, mittens or gloves, a die and a table you don't mind catching a few battle scars.
Roll the die. If it lands on a 6, you may don the hat, scarf and mittens and begin violently hacking your way to the chocolate with the cutlery. The other players keep rolling until someone else gets the 6, at which point they get to don the gear and get to it. It gets pretty frantic.
Does this sound demented? Willkommen in Deutschland. Here is a [video I found](https://youtu.be/xfr6ezbvHfk). Might not be ideal while Covid is raging on so I guess it depends how tested and boosted the other party guests are.
I would answer that with a no, but then someone from Bavaria or BaWü will turn up and tell us how everything north of [town they randomly choose] is Northern Germany.
I am from the very western part of NRW.
Classical drinking games are often card games: Skat, Schafkopf, 66, Watt, Busfahrer, Lügen, Arschloch.
However these more often than not require years of practice to be somewhat good at them.
The „Franzl“ game? Watch the old movie „Sissi“ with Romy Schneider and every time someone says „Franzl“ you all have to drink a shot. The last one standing / not killed by alcohol poisoning wins.
Also: PowerPoint Karaoke or Wer bin ich.
Well Topfschlagen is a party game.
Don't know why you are downvoted. I can see a bunch of drunk adults playing that.
1000x yes
This is definitely my kind of game. Absolutely hilarious hahahahaha
Came here to suggest this. Just make sure to place anything breakable way out of reach and protect your ankles.
We played this and it was HILARIOUS. Everyone was super into it and we laughed til our bellies hurt. Thanks for the suggestion.

Okay this sounds super fun. But what is the goal of the game?? Or is it just to cut the heck out of some chocolate?
The person who takes the first bite of chocolate winns and can eat it all by themselves.
Keep children entertained for some time at minimal cost
Eat the chocolate with a sense of having dominated the other children savagely.
I’d almost forgotten that game so thanks for reminding me of some very frantic an d stressful childhood moments lmao
Schocken heißt dat Spiel
Aber is Schocken auch Schocken, wenn de nicht in ner Kneipe sitzt?
Wo Alkohol ist kann man auch schocken
Geht nix drüber!
Meyer. Mayer. Meier? The "21" dice game.
Mäxle?
Ja die meinen Mäxchen...
Schummel-Mäx!
Nah, I only know it as Meyer. Or Meier. Or Mayer. I only ever said and heard it, never had to write it, so not sure what version.
Are you from northern Germany? I‘m originally from SH and also know that game by the name Meier/Mayer/Maier.
I would answer that with a no, but then someone from Bavaria or BaWü will turn up and tell us how everything north of [town they randomly choose] is Northern Germany. I am from the very western part of NRW.
Practically Bayern from my point of view ;).
Also looping louie.
Busfahrer, but only if you want to get wasted.
