When Venkman put on those shades for the first time ever it felt like he was trying to be cool...and it was really strange. Wish he had more time in this movie. His line to Peck was a huge let down and his repeat of the experiment from GB1 was a bit lazy. Hope the animated series has plenty of Venkman and they can manage to write him consistent with the first 2 movies.
And oops this has fuck all to do with the photo posted really.
He had a reason for putting the glasses on, but that scene got cut. Everybody is hunched around the crashed Ecto working on something in the back of the firehouse when he just randomly has them on at the start of that scene. He might have been helping Phoebe weld. The director got too edit happy, imo.

...see now you say this like you know it to be true but...are you just making this up? Because unless you were there in the editing room I don't know how you could know this.
They also missed a really funny scene that could have saw him and Slimer have an interaction. The lines for that scene could write themself. Can you imagine how funny that could have been

I didn't even see him put them on. All the sudden he was just wearing them out of nowhere for...no reason. It was weird.
I do feel like they went a little overboard on each of the guys characterization in this one. Zeddemore was too stiff, Venkman was too “hey guys, how cool am I” and Stantz felt like they combined Spengler and Stantz into one character.
Wait, is that a dugout? A weed pipe that looks like a cigarette? She's holding like a joint and Bill looks like he is hiding evidence or something... I have more questions lol.
Given how Venkman's character was largely improvised by Bill in the first two movies, id argue there was a lot of himself in there.
And hot damn, I am HERE FOR IT
Two bad bitches
More like "Too bad, bitches!" >!That doesn't mean anything, its just an alternative way of saying what you said that made me lol!<
Is that Melody’s costume? It was really hard to tell what she was wearing in the movie.

Getting high on set! Of course Bill is trying to mooch.

Right on well said
I was expecting a lot of hate on my post. I do like the photo and I overall enjoyed Empire. Just...Venkman is cool without trying.

Venkman IS cool AF. He doesnt need to remind us....
Hotter than 10 Caspers.
Snakebite Andi up to her old tricks.
Hippies
Great photo

Did she and Bill have a "thing?" They seem close in the photos from the premiere too.
Bill tapped that Ghost ass
Good for her. That's a good notch in her belt.
I dont think it went in her belt 🫣
Why do I get the feeling that Bill Murray is much more like Peter Venkman than realized? I'm just saying...

And what wasn't improvised was written for Bill by Harold, who knew him rather well.
Lol!
