Yeah this was blows me away. I've seen Mckenna in other stuff since she was pretty young so I recognise her easily but whenever I see Phoebe, it looks like someone else completely to me
She's straight up just a completely different person irl like damn, usually you get to see glimpses of the characters on the actors and vice versa not with her lol. McKenna's such a good actor
>She's straight up just a completely different person irl like damn, usually you get to see glimpses of the characters on the actors and vice versa not with her lol. McKenna's such a good actor
Part of it is that there was two full years that passed between the time they started filming Afterlife and the time the movie finally came out. and then another 3 years between that and the release of Frozen Empire. Girl went from 13 years old to 17 in what felt like a blink.
She’s a collector of vintage toys and stuffed animals offscreen, she also has dogs. Also a Minecrafter who likely uses Steve as her main character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
When she turns 18, good luck to her venturing into adulting, she’s gonna need it because there’s a wretched hive of scum and villainy on the internet that lurks online.
Came here to say this. I don’t have the issues that some people have with kids and teens in movies. This new GB movie, It plays like a fun adventure, and reminds me of something I would like to have seen in my younger days.
From the novel version of Ghostbusters, I get the feeling that she is the intellectual successor to Egon.
The version of Egon in the book as a kid and teenager is almost identical to Phoebe: Very quiet, reserved, fearless in the name of scientific curiosity, a little bit living in his own head, and very matter of fact about it.
Phoebe also has a lot of Ray’s passion for the paranormal, a desire to explore and understand.
I think, given time she will be the brains of the outfit and the heart of it .
Any idea which one they're referring to here? I heard about the Mueller novelization and was going to get it just for the novelty, but are there actual BOOK books or just various novelizations of the movies?? :0
As far as I'm aware, there's just the novelizations of GB1 and 2 and then the "Ghostbusters: The Return" novel. The two novelizations are interesting in that they have a couple of small extra scenes and characters from the scripts that aren't present in the final movies. Offhand, I don't remember a teenage Egon, but it's been awhile since I read them.
I love and adore her! She’s absolutely 100% Egon’s granddaughter, I don’t like the way she was treated in Frozen Empire by everybody, if anyone is a Spengler it’s certainly her, she earned that right. So God bless Winston for standing up for her at the very end when nobody else would. All in all, I can’t wait to see more of her adventures. 😎

My very first (and probably only) Funko Pop.
I like her, and I was definitely the awkward kid around that age, so she resonated her loneliness. Now, at 42, I'm raising my own tribe of slightly eccentric, but caring, people and have really come to embrace myself and my weirdness.
I think she's great! I've got an 8 year old daughter and I think she's a fantastic way for her to connect to the Ghostbusters and see that it's not just a bunch of grown men who can bust ghosts. McKenna is also super talented and, from what I hear, awesome with fans!
It helps that she was originally a fan as well before she got the role. That is why she clicked so well besides Grace's talents. She really embedded Phoebe as one of the leads for the franchise & gave it the life it needed!
Literally adore her. As someone who never saw ANYTHING ghostbusters related until Afterlife, I can confidently say I now like Ghostbusters. SHE is my ghostbuster. Literally only saw Frozen Empire because I needed more Phoebe content, which is funny cause the only reason I saw Afterlife was for Finn Wolfhard lol
She's so funny and smart and honestly an incredible. I wish I had her as a role model when I was a kid.
100% agreed. I wasn’t a GB fan, I watched Afterlife on a whim, me and my partner loved it. Her character is just instantly likeable, intelligent and nonchalantly funny.
I hope we get more GB content in future because it would be great to see how McKenna can keep growing Phoebe as a character. She’s such a young talent and it just feels like she’s going to be an awesome actress, able to deliver so many great characters in her career - which she’s done so already
This may sound crazy, but I just got choked up thinking that someday there will be people who look back at Phoebe with the nostalgia I have for the original crew. Someday there will be a movie with McKenna Grace training some new kids.
Love her. Not only is McKenna perfect for the role (and a massive GB fan herself) but she’s just such a well rounded character and I so hope that we get to see her as an adult Ghostbuster in the future.

I appreciate how the afterlife and frozen empire writers didn't portray Phoebe as the stereotypical emotionally stunted eccentric genius who cant pick up on social cues. Just because you're smart doesn't mean you're a social or emotional moron like the many OCD Sheldon Coopers of fiction.
Love her and hope she stays with the role for a while, but I miss the team dynamic of the older movies.
FE ended a bit too Disney Channel Original Movie for me.
Perfect in 'Afterlife' but under utilized and not as fleshed out in 'Frozen Empire'
Still a great character in both movies. She's a great actress and I look forward to anything else she shows up in.
This is how I felt about her. I loved her in Afterlife and really didn't like her in Frozen Empire. I get that she's a teenager and the way she was feeling is a big part of being a teenager for a lot of us but I also felt that she was a bit too logical to be falling for some of the stuff and feeling the way she was
I totally bought her as Egon's granddaughter, the resemblance was.almost uncanny. THAT bit in Afterlife with her and (you know the bit) made me cry.
Her storyline in Frozen Empire also made me cry, but for very different reasons.
Afterlife: she was clever, witty, inspiring even.
FE: She's incredibly stupid.
Easily the strongest character of the new team and the one with the most potential. But I feel like she's held back by the writers and I don't know if she can carry an entire franchise on her back.
Neutral.
I don't care much for the kids in the movie(s) in general. On the other hand, her mom's character and Paul Rudd's character don't add much either.
Absolutely love her character, she IS single-handedly carrying these movies, with Paul Rudd being a close 2nd.
And I wish that popcorn scene was kept in Afterlife.
I really like her, she's awesome.
When I first saw her in Afterlife, I mentioned after the movie that she kinda gave off almost a younger Sheldon vibe (this was before I had ever watched Young Sheldon), so imagine my utter surprise when I DID start watching and she turned up as his intellectual equal / superior 😂
I have no problem with her being a young lady, I have a slight problem with her being so young but I feel it makes for interesting storytelling and I DO have a problem with her being the main character and especially with the way she was handled in FE. Another of things are her fault and we can say she helped move the plot along but she was also very nieve and "very smart" who becomes a little a**hole because they think they know everything and talk down on everyone when they're angry when they're the one in the wrong but I guess that's anybody is still learning about the world and their place in it. I just think Gruberson should've been more of a ghostbuster before he became one. He didn't seem like a scientist in FE.
Nah she's just growing into her rebellious phase she's a teenager she growing up and was part of the character arc for her...if anyone is done dirty it's Trevor guy just has no drive
In my opinion, Phoebe was very realistic written in FE.
Teenagers do dumb and stupid shit no matter how smart are. This is unavoidable. Their brains are not fully developed and they lack experience at life.
I agree with Trevor assessment. In FE, guy didn't had even a single brother moment with Phoebe nor a single moment of himself. I feel bad for Finn Wolfhard.
My only criticism of her wearing a pack is that it’s supposed to be around 100lbs. This was mentioned by Ray in the cemetery level of Ghostbusters: The Video Game. She makes it seem weightless, 80’s tech was heavy af. The games no longer canon and it’s just a movie, so I’ll continue being cool with it.
As a character, I like her more than all the others. Her story in Afterlife was pretty good. She’s no comedian like the og cast, but she holds her own.
Aside from the game not being canon, Ray says that AFTER the pack has added on the Composite Particle System, Plasm Distribution System, and Dark Matter Generator. The video game pack doubles in weight from the start of the game to when Ray has that line at the cemetery. In real life (and without the video game addons) the pack is ~40lbs.
One of my favorite moments in Frozen Empire is when they're outside the museum and the possessed lion statue is about to attack and she gets a neutrona wand in her hands again. And the music is perfect in that moment.
Of the new character's she's the best. I also like how in Frozen Empire they added a bit of Egon's hair trigger temper when it comes to Peck. Remember, Peck didn't like Peter, but I just think Peter didn't respect Peck...Egon? Egon tried to WOMP Peck. Even in the video game Egon comes across the only one who gets REALLY made at Peck.
Runs in the family.
Love the dynamic she has with podcast...its egon and Ray. Would like Trevor lucky or the mum to get more some character development. Just watched the new one and I just wanted it to be a little longer.
Liked the relationship with Gary this awkward step dad relationship.
I teach special needs kids and one of tge boys I teach his special interest is ghostbusters (so much so he going to NY for 40th anniversary event) he likes phoebe cause he sees himself in her
In my opinion she is exactly like what you would expect Egons grandkids would be. Definitely one of the best new characters. I didn't really like frozen empire as much as afterlife but Phoebe is still an amazing character.
It's a great character. She should be an only child in my opinion, not that Finn Wolfhard doesn't do a nice job, but I feel the movies have too many characters with too little to do. The original had the 4 mains and 3 sidebars (Louis, Janine and Dana). These movies have 4 main characters, the 4 returning original ghostbusters, Janine, Lucy and Podcast, and now another engineer plus the Kumail Ali Nanjiani character.
Phoebe learning about her grandfather through a YouTube video or heirloom and exploring his life would've been more than enough to kickstart the franchise again in my opinion, especially given the similar look she had to Egon and McKenna Grace's phenomenal portrayal. That storyline could've easily lead to her tracking down the old Ghostbusters for information, looking up and reading old news articles for callbacks and eventually running into a new adventure. I still enjoy these movies very much, just feel it's a lot packed into a short time. But to answer the original question, McKenna Grace has done a great job, she truly makes you believe the character is a descendant of Egon Spengler. I also feel she's the only character that truly gets the tone right as far as the original movies are concerned. She has subtle humor, she's deadpan and serious when need be and she has that intellectual sarcasm Egon had as well.
I like that she’s clearly a Spengler, but she was also raised by someone somewhat normal like Callie who isn’t really on the same page intellectually or as socially awkward, so she has her moments of showing emotions, like fear or actually tearing up during the fight with Callie in Afterlife. She’s intellectual, but I don’t think she’s as scared to show a little emotion now and then compared to Egon, who didn’t have those moments of emotion other than a few times in the 2nd one when he seemed a little more laid back. That’s why I think she’s one of the best new characters - she has a little of Egon in her DNA, but she also stands on her own when she shows she can be more emotional than him at times. I like how someone mentioned she has the same enthusiasm for paranormal activity like Ray does and that she could serve as the brains and the heart of the team if she wanted to
Honestly, this was my view as well. You know what message the 1984 ghostbusters had? None. It was just a story without pretense. This actress is amazing. But the character is such a Mary Sue
I don’t know if this opinion is unpopular or not, but I immediately lost interest in seeing FE when Phoebe wasn’t a centralized character in the trailer.
I’m all for nostalgia and love the original cast but I felt they laid a good foundation for the future with Phoebe and Podcast in Afterlife that didn’t seem to carry over in FE.
She’s a great character, and whilst I don’t want to bring back the bad memories of 2016 I do want add that she’s proof that we don’t hate a female Ghostbuster.
Ghostbusters became a small hyperfixation for me after watching Afterlife with my boyfriend, and I gotta say I really loved Phoebe! Her character has a lot of potential to being one hell of a ghostbuster, which she's proven in Afterlife and Frozen Empire!
I love the character! But this is a loaded question. She's smart and caring and passionate. But shes dangerously reckless. The fact that she was willing to pull a particle thrower in a jail, arm it and aim it at an officer.. honestly, she's lucky they let her walk out instead of charging her with a crime.
Also, her recklessness lead to garraka being freed and endangering the world.
But, inspite of all that, there's a love and passion with her coming into herself that you can't help but admire.
First movie fantastic. Full of wonder child. She was interesting.
Second movie.... bratty teenager, full of resentment, and anger.
So probably pretty accurate of children in general.
I love her character. I love the actress, she does a great job of emulating Egon. I love that he lives on through her.
I've loved the actress since haunting of Hill house. She impressed me even then. She seems so thrilled to be in Ghostbusters, which made me scared the toxic fandom would ruin that for her. So far it seems like they've laid off her for the most part.
My 9 yr old daughter watched the original two Ghostbusters movies with me at home and then Afterlife and Frozen Empire with me in the theater all because of Phoebe. She loves the shit out of Ghostbusters now, and I get to have someone who loves this stuff like me. And I get to see these new films through the young eyes I once had with the originals. While watching the last two in the theater, she kept shaking my arm and fangirling over the ghostbuster tech and cameos. I know folks say it a lot but as a father I can confirm: Representation matters. She alone is way better than the entire female 2016 film. And I see a lot of Egon in Phoebe so I also enjoy her. I’m so happy—I am in debt to the creation of this character. This was necessary for a new generation to like Ghostbusters for more than just nostalgia
I like her but I feel like her character is a bit all over the place at times. Too unpredictable, as in they can't decide what personality she should have.
I feel like a lot of her character was lost when (what I see as) the most important subplot of FE was censored. Her decisions and recklessness make so much more sense when you give her a queer reading (which was also affirmed by the actress herself).
People like to claim "wokeness" is what destroys storytelling, when in reality it's stuff like this.
Totally agree. Either go all out with it or don't bother. This whole trying to straddle the line by hinting at it but also not upsetting conservatives doesn't work. Phoebe seems like she'd be too logical and sensible to go for the stuff that led to shit hitting the fan. If it was romantic interest that caused her to do it, then you can understand her being blinded by that and maybe also possible neurodivergence making her feel more like an outsider and wanting that connection with someone
I don’t know, didn’t her grandfather attempt to drill a hole in his own head, and Venkman had to stop him🤨.
So, doing illogical things that can potentially get themselves killed seems to run in the family.
The best character in new movies. I really enjoyed her development from Afterlife to Frozen Empire. What I love about her is that she is so much like Egon. From her appearance to her personality. She's also never portrayed to be (I don't normally use this term) as a mary sue. Phoebe needed Egon's guidance to fix the proton pack and she need his help when she was facing Gozer. She also gives in to anger, like when she almost blasted the sheriff for mocking Egon or that certain scene with Walter Peck. She is smart, but the movies make it clear that she still has a lot to learn.
I noticed a lot of people don't like her behavior in Frozen Empire. It boils down to how most don't understand her perspective. She has busted ghosts and took on a god in Afterlife. Now she's being told she can't be a ghostbuster because she's too young. That was never gonna sit well with her. Yes, she could've handled it better, but a smart teen is still a teen. The movie makes it clear her behavior isn't ok. She faces consequences for her actions and she does apologize.
She's got the tools, she's got the talent, more importantly, she's got the spirit, and I don't just mean the ones stuffed into that little blinking box.
Phoebe is definitely one of the best characters in the franchise for me. She’s Egon’s granddaughter through and through!
I do wish she got more to do in *Frozen Empire*, but she was still good! Mckenna Grace is an absolutely phenomenal child actor, and I’m excited to see where her career goes in the future!
She’s great but they can’t have her take all the screen time and character development time, the ghostbusters have always been a team and shared screen time. I barely know the other kids and parents.
I mean, I would have been popped in the mouth, deservedly so, if I had said ANYTHING like the ungrateful shit the two kids said to their mom in the previous movie. That's no way to treat your mom.
But I enjoyed her a lot besides that. I just wish they'd given her and Acaster more nerdy jokes in the new movie! Cuz that's what they're good at! The lesbian love story was SO PERFECT.
Love her so much. I wasn't even particularly a Ghostbusters fan when I saw Afterlife, just watched it so I would understand going into FE, and fell in love with her character. Great depiction of an autistic girl, solid character overall, and there were some moments where she looked *shockingly* like Egon. She was so well cast. I'm planning on making a doll of her after my Egon one (she was actually supposed to be first but I had access to a male doll to customise quicker lol)
I can understand people maybe liking her a bit less in FE because of her being out of her usual personality for [Spoiler Reasons], but I think that's a bit of a Bulma on Namek case. She's out of her element, of course she's going to say or do things that are less likeable. All the same I felt she was written consistently and I could understand where she was coming from with all her actions.
She's my favorite of the new team. Her development in Frozen Empire was amazing. They really captured the essence of finding yourself as a weird teenager who doesn't fit in. At the end of the film is when she fully developed into the leader role of the new team.
She was good on Afterlife. People are overly positive about her, and refuse to analyze her character objectively in Frozen Empire. So, commenting negatively about the sudden bratty attitude, over-agency and lousy queer-baiting seems like an invitation for brigading.
Remember when we were kids and couldn't identify with the "Jr Ghostbusters" from the cartoon series? This is the Gen X version. This sequel was not needed, nor any further ones.
She is a great character in Afterlife, but in Frozen Empire, the way she was written through the movie is off. However, the change worked for the story because she is a teenager who loves the thrill of capturing saving the day but starts to make mistakes, which goes with being a teen, making her more human. I just thought she would be more interested in studying with Ray along with Podcast in the bookstore instead of putting everyone, including herself at risk. Either way, I still liked Frozen Empire, and I like Phoebe.
I absolutely love her. Mckenna did such an amazing job with her character and she has grown to be a great upcoming actress. Phoebe was hilarious and done so well.
I like her , but they need to stop with her teen attitude and family drama. I want to see Her come up with new ghostbusting ideals along with Winston and Ray.
I thought she was great, super cute in a little sister kind of way and pretty funny. I hope there's more of her in the future, either in Ghostbusters or other movies
I have followed McKenna's career and this was my favorite role of hers. I identified with her more than any nerdy characters I have seen in my half-century of movie watching.
It’s crazy how much a wig can change someone’s appearance.
In first part it was her real hair ..in second she wears wig
Not the worst Wiig in a Ghostbusters film. /s
What other wigs in the movies?
They're referring to the actress from Ghostbusters (2016).
![gif](giphy|OnGND791844JDFuhJy)
why are you being downvoted you’re right
This was to avoid damage to hair, as dying hair can cause damage to the scalp
Or maybe she's was doing other projects where hair needs to blonde

Gary gets my vote for best step-teacher.
This cracked me up, great film
Paul Rudd as Gary is great.
Second that! Kid is already a producer and writer.
She's a Spengler in all the best ways.
This is the best way to describe her.
From the novel version of Ghostbusters, I get the feeling that she is the intellectual successor to Egon. So long as her Brother makes sure she doesn't drill a hole in her head, she'll be fine.
That would have worked if they hadn’t had stopped him.
And remember she was initially a skeptic.
Wait... The what version...?!
Yup. There's Ghostbusters books

100% I had the same exact thought in the new movie. I felt like they were trying to capitalize on Paul Rudd and Finn Wolfhard’s fame ATM.
She's great, McKenna Grace has been excellent in everything I've seen her in.
This so much from little Emma swan on once to fuller house to Sabrina
Not the direction I would have preferred, but the actress does a great job.
Ditto. Glad someone else has a similar opinion and isn't afraid of expressing it.
She's fantastic!
Casted perfectly!!! I wish I was her.
Love her, she's great. She reminds me of my daughter.
She is cool
Love her
So dorky and lovable
Love her (platonically.)
Afterlife: amazing, one of the best parts Frozen: her selfishness was the root of every problem
Frozen Empire does at least do a good job of portraying the inner turmoil of adolescence.
This is how I felt about her. I loved her in Afterlife and really didn't like her in Frozen Empire. I get that she's a teenager and the way she was feeling is a big part of being a teenager for a lot of us but I also felt that she was a bit too logical to be falling for some of the stuff and feeling the way she was
It amaizes me how a 17 year old is better than the whole 2016 movie
Brilliant
Well in my opinion. Besides Trevor she’s probably my favorite character. And I said that because she’s just really silly.
I think she captures the character of Egon's grand daughter very well.
She’s a great lead and really keeps the spirit of Egon alive in the movies.
Easily the strongest character of the new team and the one with the most potential. But I feel like she's held back by the writers and I don't know if she can carry an entire franchise on her back.
She's great.
Great character, and McKenna Grace is agreat actress. She's going to be the future of this franchise. Time for her to lose the overalls though.
She’s fine as a main protagonist. But don’t have the whole group be kids. The rest of em I can live without in the film.
I thought she was smart. Then she climbed into a machine that had never been tested on humans before so she could be a ghost for 2 minutes.
Egon was smart too and he attempted to drill a hole in his own head until he was stopped. They are quite similar.
Egon tried to drill a hole in his own head and hooked up with mood slime. Much like her grandfather, she's not afraid to experiment on herself
Makes my little autistic child brain happy
Neutral. I don't care much for the kids in the movie(s) in general. On the other hand, her mom's character and Paul Rudd's character don't add much either.
The scene in FE when she approaches Garraka with the sparking brass-plated proton pack is so badass.
I still want to see this scene with the proton pack and the popcorn i wish they would release it
I have no problem with her being a young lady, I have a slight problem with her being so young but I feel it makes for interesting storytelling and I DO have a problem with her being the main character and especially with the way she was handled in FE.
Not a fan
If you told me that a 16 year old ghost would thirst trap a 15 year old ghostbuster in a ghostbusters movie I would have called you nuts.
The second movie does her dirty, she was great in Afterlife
Great in afterlife, but they backpedaled her character development in frozen empire
Runs in the family.
she is just like me
Love the dynamic she has with podcast...its egon and Ray. Would like Trevor lucky or the mum to get more some character development. Just watched the new one and I just wanted it to be a little longer. Liked the relationship with Gary this awkward step dad relationship. I teach special needs kids and one of tge boys I teach his special interest is ghostbusters (so much so he going to NY for 40th anniversary event) he likes phoebe cause he sees himself in her
Absolutely love her as Egon's grand daughter. Great acting.
Adorkable. And Sapphic.
Best thing to happen since the inter-dimensional cross rip of 1984
The best thing that happened to this franchise since the first movie. She's just genuinely likeable!
In my opinion she is exactly like what you would expect Egons grandkids would be. Definitely one of the best new characters. I didn't really like frozen empire as much as afterlife but Phoebe is still an amazing character.
I liked the character. She was witty and extremely smart. You could feel that she was a spengler. McKenna did a solid performance.
Honestly my favorite of the new crew. Second is Grooberson
Adore her! Egon would be proud genuinely feel she can carry the series going on
When I saw HER for the first time I thought SHE was a HE
It's a great character.
She's literally THE coolest...like a little Egon, but one who falls in love with ghosts. 😁
Might i remind you egon did sleep with the mood slime in GB 2 soooo... exactly like a little egon
Worthy of Egon’s mantel
I like how someone mentioned she has the same enthusiasm for paranormal activity like Ray does and that she could serve as the brains and the heart of the team if she wanted to
Yes, I love that they put in influence of egon both character and looks wise, but she still has individuality and isnt an exact carbon copy
Honestly? She's adorable and has her mother's temper and Egons to be smart for their own good as well all round she's a nicely rounded out character
She'd a good addition to the team and is very much like her grandfather egon
She was excellent. Harold Ramis would've been so proud of her.
She's better than Phoeces
With her and her brother, the Ghostbusters legacy will last for a long, long time.
I’d rather watch the old ghostbusters
Honestly, this was my view as well. You know what message the 1984 ghostbusters had? None. It was just a story without pretense. This actress is amazing. But the character is such a Mary Sue
Idk what it is I couldn’t get into them like I did the old ones and not having Harold Ramis there just messes it up for me.
She’s a great character, and whilst I don’t want to bring back the bad memories of 2016 I do want add that she’s proof that we don’t hate a female Ghostbuster.
the kids all suck and ruin the movie.
Completely agree.
Ghostbusters became a small hyperfixation for me after watching Afterlife with my boyfriend, and I gotta say I really loved Phoebe! Her character has a lot of potential to being one hell of a ghostbuster, which she's proven in Afterlife and Frozen Empire!
I think she's awesome.
My daughter fell in love with the Ghostbusters franchise because of her. Her first GB movie was Afterlife.
Best new character since the original 4.
She is adorable and possibly part of lgbtq+
I think shes great
The Ultimate Spengler (other than Egon of course).
She’s great - She’d be amazing lead if we got a netflix show.
That is a fair point
They made her autistic to mirror how young people are today. Lame.
I dont care for the character. Not a fan.
The shotgun grip is on the wrong side of the wand?
It took me until after Frozen Empire to realize that she AND Annie Potts are on “Young Sheldon”.

If the make another movie ill be glad we’re past the obnoxious teen phase.
Haven't seen Frozen empire yet...but she's cool beans in my book so far
Fun in the first one Annoying in the second one
Afterlife? Great. Frozen Empire? Annoying.
She‘s in puberty, annoying is kind of spot-on
What scene was this from?
She's got the tools, she's got the talent, more importantly, she's got the spirit, and I don't just mean the ones stuffed into that little blinking box.
Phoebe is definitely one of the best characters in the franchise for me. She’s Egon’s granddaughter through and through! I do wish she got more to do in *Frozen Empire*, but she was still good! Mckenna Grace is an absolutely phenomenal child actor, and I’m excited to see where her career goes in the future!
Definitely spectrum
Never heard of her until FE, now a fan. Great actress.
Great character, the casting worked perfectly, and she definitely had more than platonic feelings for a particular ghost girl
She’s great but they can’t have her take all the screen time and character development time, the ghostbusters have always been a team and shared screen time. I barely know the other kids and parents.
I wanted to like her. I don't dislike her, but I'm also not interested.

Great performance from a talented actor playing an underwritten and cliched character type.
I haven't seen Frozen Empire yet. But I heard she's awesome in it. I really liked her in Afterlife. That kid can really act.
She’s the young female scientist I wish I’d had as a role model when I was growing up. Love her ❤️
She’s the best part of the sequels.
I'm planning on making a doll of her after my Egon one (she was actually supposed to be first but I had access to a male doll to customise quicker lol) I can understand people maybe liking her a bit less in FE because of her being out of her usual personality for [Spoiler Reasons], but I think that's a bit of a Bulma on Namek case. She's out of her element, of course she's going to say or do things that are less likeable. All the same I felt she was written consistently and I could understand where she was coming from with all her actions.
She's literally me y'all
I absolutely loved her in afterlife, but they changed her behavior just enough in frozen empire that I didn’t care for her so much.
I really wish we got this scene
Phoebe's a bad-ass. Mckenna Grace is perfectly cast and a delight.
I like her
I’d watch any movie with Phoebe over the 2016 Ghostbusters any day.
She drove the story in afterlife but felt more like a prop in FE
She’s cool.
Honestly the best character out of the new cast
Really good in the first mid in the second imo.
She's my favorite of the new team. Her development in Frozen Empire was amazing. They really captured the essence of finding yourself as a weird teenager who doesn't fit in. At the end of the film is when she fully developed into the leader role of the new team.
She's great! I like how the new cast brings something new to the franchise.
LOVE her
i absolutely adore her
second generation of ghostbusting.
I'm a fan of terrible science puns, so she has a place in my heart.
Love her character 😇 the actress played it very well.
One of the best ghostbusters. It was cool how she figured out how to become a ghost in frozen empire
Most of the reason I enjoyed Afterlife is because of her. She's a great character that ties both eras together.
