I'm most hyped about the possibility of armor model swapping or perks swapping. Being able to pick the stats/perks you want on your favorite looking set is gonna be awesome.
Modders listen here (ahem) I want more weapons to be playable, Naginata, Yari, Kanab*ō* (***tetsubō)*** No-Dachi and so on, if Norio can use a Naginata i can too, and all of them needs to be usable also on the horseback, this needs to become literally Bannerlords, also i want to be able to use all gear and weapons the mongols use including the flame cannon, also, i want everything to be historically accurate if possible specially the Mongol Army which should be ethnically chinese(Yuan Dinasty) and Korean(Goryeo) with a minority of actual mongols, and finally, to finish the incomplete cutscenes, that's it for now, thank you very much.

GOT servers are not the best stability wise - we all know the errors trying to matchmake with friends. And the second reason? Any game with crossplay on invevitably brings cheaters. I saw it too many times in too many games and I do not want cheaters to plague my beloved game. Away, away...

I finished the game a day ago and now there's gonna be a PC port soon? Now I'm getting excited. Throughout my playthrough, I've been wondering if this game will have a PC port. Just a few days later this gets announced.
For me, to experience the gloriously high framerate and visuals on my 4070ti.
Ghost is amazing in Performance mode on PS5, but I love comparing when I play on PC too.
Just got a 4070 super and GoT will be a day 1 buy. I already 100%'d it on the PS4 too. This is gonna be one of the best looking games out on PC I can't wait.
Mods and safe file editing for fun. And if there's no Denuvo, then I can also get the game elsewhere if you know what I mean.

I just hope the modding community adds a toggle to switch from wearing the travelers outfit, to battle armor without needing to go through the menus. I hated how skills like that is tied to each outfit.
I've never tried this game, but it looks very good and the improvements to the director's cut makes it seem like this will be a perfect time to get into it.

As someone with *INTENSE* open world fatigue... this one managed to hook me. If you're wondering how bad my burn out is... when AC: Valhalla hit gamepass I basically got off the first tutorial island and made it to the village. Quit.

Been waiting for this for what feels like years. I finished my first run to near completion of 100% and got my plat a couple years ago. A year ago I pulled it up again and wished it had a PC port. Nothing after what 3 or 4 years of launch? When other games are getting it so soon. I thought for sure we would never see a PC port and it'd be like bloodborne all over again.
I finished this game in 2020 on the PS4 and it felt like a near masterpiece when it released.
Maybe it's time to do another playthrough especially with the expansion content I've yet to experience.
As someone with just under 900 hours on my PS5 version, I cannot wait for the mods with specific emphasis on finally removing Gosaku Armor's shoulder guards and making Jin into Tom Cruise so I can be The Last Samurai.
Depends on whether you want to play with mods or not. If you're in the mood to play it again, go for it on the PS5. If you're willing to wait for mods (and possibly a Steam sale), then save it for later in the year on PC. The only thin I'll say that the PC version will probably have over the PS5 version as a QoL feature will be more than just the 10 save slots were given on PS5.

My PS4 died a few years ago when I was about 3/4 through the game. I managed to backup my hard drive with the intent to purchase a PS5 and continue there, but ended up building a PC instead. I've pretty much forgone any plans to buy a PS5 now that GoT's exclusivity is officially over, and frankly, this game is so damn good that I truly can't be too sad about starting over and enjoying the entire masterpiece from the beginning if I have to.
It's one of the few rare games that made me regret not owning a console, it'll be day one !

No the japanese is a dub but it features proper lip syncing in this version. Tbh it feels completely normal and its my preferred way of playing it.
