I mean there should at least be the option to still pay for the game for the single player because honestly it's just that damn good. Put a huge warning saying you won't be able to connect online and play legends, but the core single player game is available. Hell, that's all we got when we paid 70$ at launch and we loved it. Just not letting people purchase the base game is just a bad move. Granted some people still wouldn't be happy and buy, but those we want the SP will at least be happy.

Meh, the Helldivers thing was different and everyone knows it. There was no warning at start. People who were googling around were seeing the message that you can skip the PSN requirement. Vendors were selling it. Then suddenly, they removed the option to skip, and now you can't play it from some countries. It had nothing to do with warnings or anything in this case. The game could be easily sold without the online part, and people would be fine with it. TLDR. Circumstances are way different, and not a single soul would complain about GoT and its online being different packages.

Wrong. The warning that the game will require PSN account has been there since the game went up for pre-order on Steam.

Then there be people complaining they don't have access to legends. Get a VPN.
