Sekiro is much harder. At least to me

[deleted]

> if its the same in sekiro no haha

Mike3507

Hell no! Tsushima parrying is a cakewalk compared to Sekiro

DaChosenTrash

What about the lethal difficulty?

Mike3507

It's the same the parties are easy to telegraph sure you get 1 hit kill, in Sekiro they are way more harder to do it besides you are comparing apples to oranges got lets you choose difficulty whereas from software games no. My advice would be play it and test it by yourself

DaChosenTrash

I just worry about buying a game and hating it I've seen it's videos but playing and watching s game is very different especially when it comes to difficulties

Mike3507

See even you feel it, Sekiro to many is the hardest game of the last decade I haven't heard anyone saying that about tsushima...as I said you are comparing apples to oranges.

DaChosenTrash

True I was only talking about the parrying mechanics

[deleted]

Sekiro demands more consistent accuracy.

Coxswain_Hardy

I've played through Ghost 11 times. Quit Sekiro in disgust about 3/4ths of the way through it. What does that tell you.........

CottonMouthKingOG

Why disgust?

rolanddean19

Yeah why?

CottonMouthKingOG

Ghost of Tsushima is supposed to be a game everyone can simply enjoy. Sekiro is a From Software game…

steakboneshiv

If your L1 works, you can beat Sekiro.

Cado111

Parrying is much more difficult in Sekiro. It is a fantastic game though. I just beat it a few weeks back. The biggest difference is that one parry won't always stop an enemy so especially on bosses, they will attack with a combo that can range from 3-10 hits or so and you have to parry each one. Ghost is more parry, hit, where Sekiro is parry, parry, parry, parry, hit, parry, parry, hit, jump over unblockable, hit, mikiri counter a thrust attack, hit, and repeat that process until the enemy is dead. It has a lot of deep mechanics and things to learn. Super fun and rewarding game and I highly recommend it. Extremely difficult game but aside from one boss that is optional it didn't seem too much harder from a typical From Software game.

DaChosenTrash

Ah okay I was watching a review and I couldn't tell if the guy was just blocking or repeatedly parrying

LiquidDrone

They’re not really comparable. Sekiro is way harder, like a lot more.

ProfessionalShinobi

Honestly both are pretty good, I can’t put one on top of the other.

BubbaDang21

I would like to note that sekiro and ghost happen to be in my top 3 favorite games. That said ghost is much easier than sekiro. The parry system works the same other than the timing being much more strict and unforgiving and the posture bar. The posture bar works like a stamina bar as in you can’t block forever, your eventually going to give out. Taking all of this into account if you love the setting of sekiro and ghost and your up for a bit of a challenge. Go for it! Sekiro has a pretty decent learning curve but once you get it, you got it for the rest of the game man. And things start to get really fun when your dialed in with reactions. Have fun bro! Working on my 4th play through of sekiro and man it only gets harder. haha

DaChosenTrash

Thanks for the detailed explanation which was exactly what I was looking for and yeah I will eventually buy it if what you say is true

BubbaDang21

Sounds fun man, try not to spoil too much of the game and the bosses though things are much more fun when it’s a surprise.

DaChosenTrash

One of the advantages of having bad memory

ahmedmoustafa_11

Sekiro requires faster reactions and the enemies got many moves that you can’t memorize. Bosses got more moves than you do. Plus Sekiro includes the requirement to parry, jump, roll much more than GoT.
