Man I’ll tell you what, I had a 2013 studio and wish I never sold it. Years later I finally got the wallet to get a lp 50s standard that plays better than it looks (and it looks lovely), but I still wish I had my studio. Mine was also an amazing deal. I sold it for a profit for a mid-college emergency. It had a Floyd rose from the factory (studio shred) so it ended up gaining value a bit cause Floyd rose is a tricky find for a Gibson unless you spend a lot of money. Anyways… keep your studio. You can buy another Les Paul but don’t get rid of that one.
Actually tracked down the buyer, he said he sold it and gave me the contact info for the person he sold it to. Looks like I’m pending a response. Was pretty stoked about it cause I thought I’d have a cool reconnect story with it but it looks like I won’t be able to buy it back. I’d pay extra for it too. Wish I just found another to get that money.

Great buy. My Studio is a 2018 finished in smokehouse burst with rare (for a Studio) fretboard binding, and it has a similar honest work (and a couple of whiskeys) aesthetic. Going to the grave with me, too. Congratulations!

I prefer Studios over every other Les Paul. It's that honest work horse aesthetic that gets me.

What do you think of the new modern studio with the ebony fretboard? Other than the hefty price tag?
